@angelachase: Love that mantra. I like "every pregnancy deserves hope." I have said it through all my pregnancies and still believe it, even when it's hard. @Tidybee: How are you feeling?

@simplyfelicity: I feel fine. Which makes me not feel so fine - so anxious! No bloating, no nausea nothing. I have a killer sinus infection though so that is definitely causing the irritability bc I can't take anything.
I'm sorry you're dealing with the throw ups!

@Tidybee: you're right, it definitely is easy to drive yourself crazy when POASing! But I can't help it, lol, it's a problem!

Ok so you probably all think I'm crazy but here's my latest test from today (top is yesterday, bottom is today's). Wouldn't it be getting lighter if it was a chemical?
kiwi / 643 posts
@simplyfelicity: Okay, that's what I thought! I'm hoping they continue to get darker. I know I need to stop testing but I don't know if I can stop until I have my labs done again.

@Tidybee: I didn't start feeling queasy until 6 weeks and then the morning sickness didn't truly begin until a couple days after that. Maybe you will just have a really easy pregnancy!

So, I just threw up all over my toilet because I didn't lift the lid in time. This baby has some freaking personality! I am worried there are 100 in here.

@simplyfelicity: It makes me quite happy that you're having symptoms, although I wish they weren't so pronounced. (Sorry to jump in on your conversation…) Hoping and praying for all good things for you!
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Jess1483: Awww...thanks, Jess! I am hoping this means good things (though I know that you can have a perfectly healthy pregnancy without much symtpom-wise. ) Please jump in whenever you want! We are a pretry small but very welcoming group. When is your next ultrasound?
nectarine / 2641 posts
@simplyfelicity: Dec. 5 I should hear heartbeat. Dec. 10 is my NT screening. I'm getting super nervous. My m/s is fading a bit (though still there), but my tummy is definitely growing! Luckily the next 3 weeks are really busy for me (including LO1's 2nd birthday…sniff).
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Jess1483: How exciting! How weeks are you now? The NT scan is around 12 weeks, right? Can't wait to hear all about it.
nectarine / 2641 posts
@simplyfelicity: Tomorrow is 9 weeks! Passed my m/c, but I'm terrified of a missed m/c, so really looking forward to week 12 heartbeat/ultrasound. I'll be 12w5d for the NT screen (hm…that's later than I thought it'd be. Oh well, I can handle it…I think.)
nectarine / 2641 posts
@simplyfelicity: When is your first ultrasound? Do you have to wait until 10 weeks again?
cantaloupe / 6634 posts
@Jess1483: My ultrasound is on Nov 24 and I will be 8w5d. They were actually going to book me for tomorrow, but we had some work conflicts and I wanted to be sure that we would see a heartbeat if there is one.

@simplyfelicity: I'm so excited for you! I'll be anxious to hear how it goes

@simplyfelicity: Awwww, I'm sorry you are so sick!
@NurseDMB: That line is for sure darker!
@nicole112: Brilliant news and cute pic!
@Jess1483: Yay for growing tummy!
So guys, I am seriously on track for shittest mum of the week. Remember how I lost my daughter at playschool on Wednesday? Yesterday she climbed onto a toy at home and slipped and cut herself really badly on her face on the corner of the dinner table. So much blood, poor, poor girl. We were at ER until 10.15pm and she couldn't eat or drink for hours because the plan was to put her to sleep while they gave her stitches. In the end a second doctor said gluing would be the best option after all so we all held her down while they did that, she was SO, so brave, but when the glue got hot was saying "no no no no" over and over. She will get a scar. I want to carry her around in bubble wrap for the next week.

@NurseDMB: eiiiii! That line is def getting darker

@simplyfelicity: blech me too. I look/ feel like I'm dying lol. If my coworkers haven't guessed they are idiots :s
@Reese: I almost want to see a bump pic! Just fatness over here!
@novole112: so jealous! Can't wait for an us! Such good news!
@NurseDMB: totally darker! Woot! Monday is only a few days away :)!
@travelgirl1: not bad mom - just toddler problems! Poor little one!
If it makes you feel better I was running around with my LO a few weeks ago and he fell and bit through ( through!!!) his tongue. Disaster. Then I learned nothing from that experience and the same thing happened lAst week and he busted his lip. Babies are basically made of rubber, don't worry and they don't scar too easily either! The lip injury looked like it would scar past his mouth but it's already healing! Just give and take lots of cuddles mama, I'm sure you're doing a great job!

@fuzzypeaches: right!?! I woke up today with all of my symptoms gone no sore boobs or morning sickness. I actually have energy this morning as well. I feel great but of course it has me worried!! I'm 6 weeks 5 days today

@travelgirl1: Awww, poor girl!!
@Reese: Easier said than done, but try not to obsess too much over symptoms! I just had my 8 week u/s (and graduated from the RE!) and feel fantastic. I've had a handful of nauseous feeling days but otherwise really don't feel all that different. But baby measured on target and heartbeat was great! There's no rhyme or reason to symptoms or how much or little you'll have.

@Reese: Honestly, I worried when I wasn't getting sick... I haven't really focused on symptoms a ton. It took a bit to realize I had my cup of coffee at home like usual but had no interest in it when I got to work. I ate oatmeal for breakfast one morning like I always do and just wasn't feeling it. I also use to work 12+ hour days so I don't know if my body recognizes tired anymore either, LOL! It's definitely helped to hear from others that didn't have symptoms. My RE's receptionist got pregnant on her 6th Clomid cycle and said she felt fantastic the entire pregnancy! So I keep telling myself maybe this is the one part of this journey where I will be blessed

@LindsayInNY: it's just so bizarre. Yesterday hunched over the sink gag/barfing after brushing my teeth and today I feel fine! The body is a crazy thing. Also (TMI) I hate the panic every time I wipe, thinking their might be blood. Argh! I hope this your blessing too!

yay for symptoms or no symptoms it's all good
I'm definitely struggling with m/s it's more like night sickness though so I feel like when I get home from work I'm completely struggling..
my house is a mess and my son keeps saying "Mommy I hope you feel better"
I thought this was hard without a LO .. what a surprise

I think I might be having the first stirrings of morning sickness. I'll be six weeks on Sunday and I don't exactly feel nauseous, but more like a weird, squishy, queasy feeling.

@angelachase: I feel the same as you. Not super nauseous but just "off" and nothing appeals to me.

@travelgirl1: creeping in here to say AAAAAAAHHHHH I missed this! Congratulations, love!
Congrats to all the July mamas!

@QBbride: My appetite is okay but I just have a queasy feeling, like if you went on a roller coaster or ate junk food all day, kinda.
Random question: have you all given up caffeine? I still drink one cup of coffee in the morning.

@Chocoholic: Welcome and congratulations!
@angelachase: That's how mine started... I didn't give up coffee, it gave me up.
@travelgirl1: Poor baby! If it makes you feel any better, I have had stitches at least a half dozen times on my face when I was really little and have no scars.
@Reese: Your baby is probably giving you a much needed break. My sister has four kids and she said symptoms come and go all the time.
@Mrs. Pickles: Oh my gosh. I cannot imagine doing this with a LO, its hard enough to take care of myself right now!
I took a half day today because I was curled up on the bathroom rug puking uncontrollably this morning... when does morning sickness end?
