@hocuspocus: cute!! Is your shirt from Target? I have a navy and white one that's very similar!

@dc yoga bee I hope everything is okay!

Last night, DH and I went and saw Wicked and the baby was going crazy kicking! I just started laughing because it was so funny how the sound was making him/her jump!

We bought a crib yesterday. We couldn't resist the Pottery Barn sale! We went to BBB and BRU to look at cribs and just felt like the quality atPB was worth the higher price at PB. We got it for 20% off and then used a $200 Visa giftcard we had. So, it didn't end up being bad at all.

Here is my 19 week bump from last week:

@MamaB: which one did you get!?! We got the Catalina one that converts into a bed!

    All the bumps look great!

Thanks for the well wishes, I'm back home! It was my first time ever going to an ER. Since I was over 20 weeks (20w2d), they sent me upstairs to labor and delivery. They've cancelled hospital tours due to the flu, so hey I got to see the l&d ward after all .

They asked me a bunch of questions, and then took me to triage. They gave me two bags of IVs- again never had an IV! It didn't hurt, and the nurse told me she only does beautiful IVs lol. They monitored me for uterine contractions (didn't have any), and found baby's heartbeat. She was running from the Doppler and going from side to side like usual! Then afterwards, I was sitting there resting, and starting vomiting uncontralably again. It's like I couldn't breathe. So, they gave me a shot of Zofran in my thigh that pretty much knocked me out. They think it's a combination of going one day without meds, and something that I ate. They put me on a strict bland diet for the next two weeks and no driving while they tinker with my meds. So, back on medical telework I go! Overall, it was a good experience and I am very happy with my care. I told the nurses I look forward to seeing them in June!

@dc yoga bee: I love the Catlina crib. The family that I nanny for has it. We got the Kendall. It is a convertible, but we are probably going to have a second by the time we'd use a toddler bed, so we'll probably transition the first baby to a twin bed instead of toddler bed.

Glad to hear everything is okay with you!

@BabyMats: and @just_ju: I haven't been feeling any movement yet either (19w today). I thought I felt her once over 2 weeks ago but I haven't felt anything that might be movement since then so I think the first thing was probably gas or something.

@78h2o: my rings still go on and off without problem but I'm keeping and eye on them so that when swelling starts they don't end up stuck.

@rpparker that's so funny, it is from target. I'm so obsessed with maternity clothes they're so comfy!

I'll post my 21 week bump in both threads, since I like having them all together in the other thread to compare

I got fitted for new bras yesterday and was a 38DD, up from a 38C!

@LindsayInNY: I like the idea of the rewards from bru. Are you gonna duplicate items? I have like 76 on BBB!

@78h2o: 21 weeks already, oh my!!! Looking good!

@Mrs.KMM: I love how round your bump is!!

@MamaB: I went to Victoria's Secret because I had a gift card I wanted to used. I think for a fitting, a place like Nordstrom is usually a better bet. The maternity stores usually have the best selection of nursing bras.

@MrsBrewer: Hope it goes well! Mine is tomorrow morning and I am so nervous/excited.

    @Mrs.KMM: Looking good!

Everyone looks so good! Can't wait to hear back on anatomy scans!

Anatomy scan went okay. Didn't get any really good pictures though, this baby is stubborn and would not get into a good position! But I think they got all the measurements really needed. The baby is growing great, right on schedule and everything about the baby looks great!

Although the Dr did say that I have a low lying placenta, so they schedule me to come in for another ultrasound at 28 weeks (so in 8 weeks) So that is really making me nervous.... The Dr put me on pelvic rest between now and then, so I feel bad for hubby....

@MrsBrewer: Hugs, hopefully your placenta will move up. Being on pelvic rest sucks. I had bouts of it with my first pregnancy and hated it.

  21. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@cascademom: Thanks! I tend to stress out about things that I probably shouldn't. So I'm just really trying to be good and not worry about it too much, but I can't help it a little bit! Yea pelvic rest is going to suck, but truthfully I haven't been in the mood at all really this pregnancy. I think DH is going to have a much harder time though.

  22. Eko

    nectarine / 2148 posts

@MrsBrewer: That's great that the baby is still measuring on target even with being stubborn about it! Hopefully the next 8 weeks go by quickly and you can come off of the pelvic rest.

  23. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@MrsBrewer: glad it went okay! Hopefully, you are not in pain, and everything will be okay! Does pelvic rest only mean no sex or does it include anything else? My bedrest is to work from home, stay seated or lying down taking it easy. We haven't had sex since the one time we tried during this pregnancy at 18 weeks, and I threw up...

  24. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@dc yoga bee: No pain thankfully! I just have to pay close attention to make sure I don't have any bleeding now.

The Dr just told me no sex, he didn't say anything about bed rest at all, just that it's been known that sex can sometimes aggravate things.

  25. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@MrsBrewer: okay! I was wondering if you're icing your pelvis or anything else. Thankfully, no pain! Take care of yourself.

I forgot to mention, the baby is measuring one week behind, and even though she said it was normal I couldn't help but wonder if it's because of the hyperemesis since a side effect is low birth weight and premature labor. Too bad I can't eat my way to a bigger baby

  26. cascademom

    coconut / 8861 posts

@dc yoga bee: Yep, no sex. Her placenta is low lying which means it could be placenta previa. I've had some friends that have it where they had automatic c-sections because the placenta is in the way of the birth canal. Having sex with a placenta previa could cause bleeding or early term labor.

  27. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@cascademom: Yep. The Dr didn't say if it was placenta previa or not, so I'm not sure if it's actually blocking the cervix or not. But if it is as it gets closer to delivery, the OB confirmed that it would mean C-Section for sure. Which I would be 100% fine with because it just wouldn't be safe to try for a vaginal birth.

  28. cascademom

    coconut / 8861 posts

@MrsBrewer: Most of the time it moves up from what I've heard. Fingers crossed that it'll move up, so you can try for a vaginal delivery.

  29. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@cascademom: That's what the OB made it sound like. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that as well!!

  30. 78h2o

@MrsBrewer: I had a friend who had that and hers did move up. She is actually in labor right now and is expected to have a vaginal delivery. It made her nervous in the beginning, but the good thing was that she got to have some extra scans and see her little one more.

  31. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@78h2o: Oh that's great about your friend! Hopefully she has a safe and speedy delivery! I'm trying to look on the bright side also! I'm excited that I get another ultrasound! Especially since the pictures this time weren't so great!

I had my anatomy scan this morning, everything looked good. She's still a girl, LOL. She is measuring one week ahead and the estimated her weight to be 1 lb. 4 oz.

So is anyone else having vivid dreams yet? I had a super vivid sex dream with DH last night and woke up really horny (sorry TMI)! I guess DH should be glad that I'm getting my groove back after not really feeling like doing much for most of the pregnancy.

@MamaB: I know, I was really happy to see the poll the way it was!! It definitely gives me hope that my placenta will move!!
