I nearly threw up while shopping in Cotsco today, so I'd say nausea has arrived in full force.

Congrats to the new additions!!! I'm excited to get to know you guys a bit more!
Things have been super just crazy the last week- sorry for the lack of updates-- I have an apt. Monday where I should know more-- but I hit the ER on Wednesday after my spotting started getting more red- because I'm RH Negative and need a Rhogam shot anytime there is a bleed.
They did an US and found baby to be measuring 5 and a half to 6 weeks, with a normal HB for that range. So good there.
However there was also another gestational sac that was enveloped (so no baby in that one)- my HCG went from 2800 (they didn't give me the extra numbers in the 10's spot) to 2400 (again, no tenth spot) in 24 hours-- which could be explained by the twin not continuing/developing normally.
Spotting stopped by Thursday but started again this AM along with more persistent cramping- but it's still dark spotting and cramping is low in my pelvic area like I feel like it's my cervix rather than period cramps.
I'm hoping it's just like an SCH or whatever, the US also didn't show any "for sure" bleeding coming from inside the uterus, I guess my lining seemed normal.
I'll get you guys updated on Monday and probably gripe about my OB because I'm not loving them right now!

So what do you ladies think about this website? I put in my LMP, but you can put in any date. It gives miscarriage odds that seem to suggest that once you get to 9+1, your odds stay the same throughout the rest if your first trimester. That seems lower/different than what I have seen on other sites. A lot of other ones hailed the 12 week mark as the big hurdle. Thoughts?

@Mrs. Pink: I'm sorry to hear about your empty gestational sac.

@Mrs.Peanut: I just had a quick look and the progress appears to be calculated as 2 weeks behind based on your LMP. I should be 6 weeks now, but the chart says I am 4 weeks. So I guess 9 + 1 is really 11+1?
@Mrs.Pink: I hope things work out for you
@Littlegbee: Everyone keeps telling me that ginger is really good for alleviating nausea? Have you tried anything?
My boobs have started hurting so much that I've stopped wearing my bras and have switched to a sports bra. Still really hungry all the time and I get exhausted a lot quicker too. I woke up had breakfast, then fell asleep again for 3 hours.
Anyone have a feeling they might be having multiples?
apricot / 347 posts
@Wishingforviolet: The chart is based on my LMP and it's correct for me. Try putting in yours (because I am 4w).
I wondered if I was having multiples because my line on my FRER was so dark. But there are no twins in my family and we didn't use any sort of fertility treatments, so I doubt I actually have multiples.

@Mrs. Peanut: I know that when a heartbeat is seen it dramatically drops the MC risk. I wonder if that's factored in, if most people are seeing a HB by 9 weeks? (I have no idea what normal/typical ultrasound timing is!)

@Mrs. Pink: I'm sorry glad you have 1 strong bean in there though
@Mrs. Peanut: I think once you hear the heartbeat, your miscarriage risks drops and usually around 8 weeks so I guess that makes sense.
I'm finding that cold water is triggering nausea, besides that I'm doing ok! Saw our little nugget today and heartbeat is at 128. We officially graduated from the RE and I see my Obgyn next week like a regular pregnant lady! Haha.

Hi ladies, a bit late to the party but I think I'm going to be a June mama again so thought I'd say hello!
Location: England
EDD: June 26th maybe?! Not sure of the exact date as we weren't actively TTC.
How far along: I think maybe 4 weeks 2 days?
First child? No, this will be our third(!). We have a 3 yr old DD (June 2012) and a 20 month old DD (Feb 2014)
First doctor appointment: I have an appt tomorrow but that is mainly to get a prescription for pregnancy safe allergy and asthma meds, and to get a flu shot. My booking in appt with the midwife won't be until 8-10 weeks. I'm AMA (36) so not sure whether or not I'll have additional appts as we go on.
Any symptoms so far? Nope! My allergies are going crazy right now, which is making me a bit miserable, but other than that, I don't feel the slightest bit pregnant.
Who have you told? DH, my mom, my sister, DH's parents, and DH's sister (I can't keep a secret to save my life!)
This is sort of a surprise pregnancy - we were on the fence about having a third and weren't going to discuss it until after Christmas....but apparently fate had other plans! We weren't being careful the past couple of weeks though so I can't say we were totally surprised. DH and I have been extremely fortunate and have gotten pregnant the first time we started ntnp with each child, so why we thought it would be any different this time is beyond me!
Anyway, we're excited to be having another and I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with all of you!

I'm pretty sure I'm out. Started bleeding today and went to the ER. So the US showed an intrauterine pregnancy - measuring 4 weeks. HCG was at the 3-4 week level. I should be somewhere between 5.5-6 weeks. I have to redo the blood test Wednesday but I am bleeding enough that I'm pretty sure this is over.

@Mrs. pink - I'm sorry to hear about the second embryo.
I just made my first appointment with the Dr. ! I can't believe they will see me so soon (@6.5 weeks). I'm excited and hopeful!

@Mrs. Pink: hugs.@Wishingforviolet: multiples would kill me. Ack! @MrsDragon: Good luck. I hope you're ok.

I had a repeat hCG level today. Friday it was 229.7 on 13 DPO and today it was 865.8 on 16 DPO. Which is a 37 hours doubling time according to http://www.betabase.info/calc/
My doctor wants a repeat hCG on Wednesday again and then said we would do an ultrasound next week sometime. Which is crazy early because I won't turn 5 weeks until next Tuesday, so even if we waited until Friday I'd only be 5 weeks 3 days.
She also reviewed my progesterone again. It was 12.4 on Friday and she had said that was fine. But now she's having me start 100 mg progesterone vaginally twice daily.

@pastemoo: I am feeling pretty devastated, honestly. I hate that I have had to go through this twice in three months, and I am petrified for the future. I think I'm going to keep my prenatal appointment and ask the doctor about hormonal testing, at least. I don't really know what to do with myself -- I feel like I just came out of the funk of my last miscarriage/TTC problems, and here I am again, and I have to hold it together for my kid and my job.

@Dr. Pepper: the HCG sounds great! As much as I would love an ultrasound asap, there just isn't anything to see yet if you aren't worried about confirming non-ectopic

Well I still haven't got an appt set with my doctor, but they are working on ordering beta draws (I'm out of town right now), and I've officially missed my period, and took another preg test to make sure I had a nice dark line still! just laying low, and taking my progesterone, baby aspirin, and prenatals as recommended by my doc!

@MrsDragon: I'm so sorry you are going through this. I had two miscarriages back to back in June 2012 and July 2012. It sucked. Third time was the charm and we got my perfect son.

@runnerd: yes I'm thrilled about the hCG. I think they are crazy for ordering an ultrasound so early, but they went ahead and scheduled it for next Thursday 10/29. I'll be 5w2d. I'm assuming it will show a sac and no heartbeat and I'll end up having to go in again the following week.

@Dr. Pepper: at least seeing the sac should give you some peice of mind!

@Mrs.Peanut: Silly me, I must have butter fingers haha and messed up inputting my LMP!! What dpo did you get your bfp?
@Mrskrbd: Little nugget - I love that term
@Ree723: congrats on expanding your family.
@Mrsdragon: *Big hug* I'm really sorry to hear that you're having to go through this again. Stay strong and I hope everything works out for you.

@Wishingforviolet: I'm not totally sure what day I ovulated. I was tracking CM but totally missed it! I'm guessing when I tested I was somewhere between 9-12dpo.
@Mrsdragon: I'm so sorry.

@MrsDragon: Hugs. Give yourself the permission to grieve. You did nothing wrong. And this hurts. I'm so sorry. I hope you can handle the pain tonight, and I hope your body is kind to you.

Update is that we def. are going with a hematoma causing the bleeding.
HB was 126 today and HCG recovered and bumped to 36000 since Friday, so they aren't ordering anymore- instead I have another US scheduled for Monday.
We told the remainder of our friends and relatives- so everyone knows now!

@Wishingforviolet: @Mrs.Peanut: I tried it out and inputted my LMP (adjusted for a slightly late O date) and the dates seemed correct for me. I'm down to 7.5% today which is reassuring. Thanks for sharing!
@MrsDragon: sorry to hear about your situation. thinking of you

Thank you everyone. Feeling pretty heartbroken and physically awful but I appreciate all of your words. I'm probably going to take a break from HB for a bit. Sending you all lots of love and luck for your babies.

First child? Yes!
First doctor appointment: Was on the 18th Sept, just screening bloods, no bHCG. US 13 Oct to Rule out an ectopic - results found a single fetus with a HR of 144 in the right place and 2 days ahead of schedule I think I did ovulate sooner so 2 days ahead sounds right.
Any symptoms so far? Took a while but bang on 6 weeks nausea started, boobs were the first sign... DH was very happy! I'm up a cup size already.
Who have you told? Close friends and family. I work in a hospital so I have had to tell a few of my co-workers, for safety. My manager and the other supervisors know as well, I have such a supportive team!
Today was rough... I vommited in the car at lunch time (I travel between head office and the hospital). I had craps and spotting so trying to not let my mind run away, spotting was slight... It was just unnerving as it was the first time for me.
Looking forward to sharing this journey with everyone!

@Contemplating: welcome!! Sorry you had a rough day. Hope your spotting doesn't get worse, I hear it's very common. As for nausea, I'm 6 weeks as of yesterday and I'm anxiously waiting to see if nausea starts...
