@LIL BEAN: think of it like your birthday- on your 40th bday, that was the day you completed your 40th year. So you ARE 40, and you're IN your 41st year. You are 5w3d so you completed the first 5 gestational weeks and you're 3 days into the 6th week!

@jaguar: soooo excited for you! Can't wait to see baby!!!

@Anya: right! That's what I was thinking. So I can read the 6-week status, right?

@simplyfelicity: I'm still pretty symptom less too and even though you reassured me and told me to step away from the pee sticks I have still been taking one every couple of days. It's all so nerve wracking right now!

Had a bit of a scare yesterday. DH and I had sex in the morning and when I got up there was some blood on the toilet paper. I freaked out and did a lot of googling, and apparently it's pretty common after sex because of cervical position or something. No more spotting the rest of the day or today, but I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow to see what he thinks. My first appt is Friday and can't come soon enough!

Also, I was at my monthly dinner with all my girlfriends yesterday and one of them announced she was pregnant! Only 3 weeks ahead of me! I didn't say anything about me because I didn't want to steal thunder and also want to wait until after the doctor appt. I'm sure they noticed I want drinking though. The newly pregnant girl was annoying me a little bit because they all know we were having trouble Ttc and that I was going to have to do fertility treatments and she kept going on and on about how it was a surprise and they weren't really trying and how everyone she knows who is pregnant was NTNP and she should have know it would just happen. Ugh. I really wanted to say something but I didn't

@LaughLines: oh man! Well, at least you know your own little baby secret. Think of how excited your friends will be over YOUR announcement!

EDD: March 25th (LMP), March 27th (ovulation)
How far along: 3w4d
First child? Nope, DS is 19 months
First doctor appointment: Calling tomorrow, but with my first, it was at 8 weeks.
Any symptoms so far? A little nausea, although that could be the heat. Big mood swings. The most important sign was a pain in my side that I had when pregnant with my first--it's what made me convinced fairly early.
Who have you told? DH, DS (not like he's telling anyone), one friend, a group from the Weddingbee Mamas when I was pregnant the first time. I work for/with my mom, so may need to reveal relatively soon to my parents. Otherwise, we'll wait until at least 8 weeks for close family and friends, and later for others.

@jaguar: How was your appointment?

Hi guys! Went well. Baby is measuring at 6w5d, which puts my due date to 4th March! Heart flickering at 134bpm. So in love.

I have my first appointment and hopefully U/S on August 1 (my DD's birthday!) If all is well, we plan on telling close family that night at her birthday dinner.

5 weeks 6 days
It's our first!!
My first Drs appointment is not until 8/9.
I had implantation cramping right before I took the test. I have had mild food aversions, a lot more tears than normal and some mood swings.
My Husband, my Mom, our best friends that just had a baby and a handful of my pregnant friends know.
