@daniellemybelle: Have you had your anatomy scan? Hope you are doing well!

@lilyann: gorgeous pic!!!!
I had an anatomy scan yesterday and everything looks great. I am very relieved because I had convinced myself that I had Zika since I got a bunch of mosquito bites in Mexico in January. But things are looking good.
Hope you all had a great Halloween!!

@Weswife: Ugh, yeah, my first time swelling was on a flight too - it's like you never know what your body is going to do during pregnancy! I'm flying this weekend, so I definitely need to remember my (very elegant, old-lady) compression socks.
@sheskrafty: Yay, that's good news - glad everything looks great! One of my coworkers got zika from a trip to Brazil, and I was totally paranoid in every meeting with him (even though I'm generally a logical person and know how disease transmission works, ha.)

I am so beat from trick r treating last night!! I told Ryan I'm finally feeling pregnant haha!!! I was waddling.

@anonysquire: Haha, I feel the same way after trick or treating last night - baby must have been pressing on my bladder, because I had to take two pee breaks during the 1.5 hours we were out. And then I slept solidly for 9.5 hours straight over night!

@raspberries: oh solid sleep sounds nice!!! My little guy woke up 3 times asking for candy lol. Next year I'm leaving trick r treating to my husband and I'll pass out candy

Anatomy scan went great! Baby is growing right on track, estimated about 9 ounces in size. They're sticking with my due date. Anatomy looks good! Good news all around. Strong heartbeat of 158.
We did find out sex!!! But I need to tell my family before I post on the internets lol!!

@Mrs. Pen: tell them quickly!!
We had our scan today, too, but we already knew the sex. Babe is healthy and already 10 oz!
I can't help but feel for a couple in front of us though. It's all really close together in my doctors office, and as I was walking by a room, someone was counseling them on delivery at 26-27 weeks. I can't even imagine.

@Mrs. Pen: @LovelyPlum: omg my baby was measuring 14 oz. at our anatomy scan! I am going to have a giant! Look at how big his feet are!
pear / 1955 posts
@Weswife: Awww, those feet!! Were you or your husband big babies? My step-sister had a 10.5 lber, but both her and her husband were over 9lbs themselves.

@LovelyPlum: @Weswife: So happy for healthy babies!!!
I finally got a call today about my anatomy scan, scheduled it for tomorrow at 12:30! We are not finding out gender but I really want to know that baby is doing okay.

@lilyann: Thanks for thinking of me! Sorry I haven't checked in much.
We had our anatomy scan yesterday (20w exactly) and he looks great! He measured 20w1d and everything looks perfect. Lots of kicking and waving at us
Oh, and good thing we weren't TG because it was very obvious from the start that he is a boy

@raspberries: my husband and I were both in the 8lbs somewhere I don't know exact. But his sister was 11 lbs. almost 12 at birth ahh... plus he is much bigger than myself. I am 5'5" and my husband is 6'4". So I am hoping this baby isn't huge!

@daniellemybelle: you baby measured right on time... ours still measured 6 days ahead! OH lord I better just prepare myself for a giant I think!

@LovelyPlum: yay for healthy baby so scary to think about delivering that early. On Halloween while we were trick r treating I stopped to talk to a neighbor who had the same due date as me (20 years ago) and she ended up giving birth December 15!!!!!!

Anatomy scan went well! Baby is healthy and doing great! Measuring 11oz at almost 20 weeks (tomorrow). I will have to go back to the high risk doc in 6 weeks because of partial placenta previa.

@lilyann: Great news - glad baby is doing well (and that they're keeping an eye on the previa... fingers crossed it goes away on its own!)

@anonysquire: Thank you! I had it with my last pregnancy too. It resolved by 26 weeks or so.
@raspberries: Thank you!! Very relieved!

Hi ladies!
I had my growth and anatomy scan yesterday at exactly 19 weeks. Baby is measuring in the 54th percentile at 10 oz. We will be going back in 4 weeks because they could not get all of the pictures they needed (stubborn baby!) and my placenta is low.
Everything seems to be going fine. My biggest struggle at this time is finding maternity clothes that I like. We live in CO and there are very few stores that sell maternity, and those that do have a very small selection. I don't love shopping online and have been frustrated by some Amazon purchases.
There will probably be more shopping this weekend!
Happy Friday!

We got bad news at the anatomy scan last week. The baby has multiple severe congenital defects. We were able to meet with a team of specialists and have decided to terminate because of a poor prognosis. I wish everyone the best of luck!
