Does this sound right to you?
BFP 1/3/12.
On 1/25/12, I measured 6w2d, EDD 9/18/12 (which would actually have meant I was 6w1d.)
So I either got the BFP at 3w or 3w1d...or something is wrong and I was measuring small because of it.
The closer I get to my appointment around 11 and a half weeks, the more this freaks me out. I know there's nothing I can do about it, but I just have this feeling that there won't be a heartbeat.

Oh no! Try not to worry! If they measured you at 6wks and your Lo had a strong heartbeat, s/he should be fine! It's natural to feel nervous though.. Let us know how your next appt go and hope you have a healthy pregnancy!

Thank you. They didn't tell me a hb at the time..just said that it looked pretty normal for this time. But I don't know if she took into account when I tested positive.. Ack!

Dec 8 or so but my cycles are irregular and usually pretty long. The 3 before the bfp were 34 days but I often have longer ones than that..so we were just going based on the doctor's measurements for my EDD. But I had very early symptoms and got my bfp very early...but I know it couldn't have been at 3w early. I've been trying to ignore it all, haven't had any bleeding/spotting. But truly I'm very worried..

Don't stress yet. 6 weeks you don't always get a heartbeat, so usually they don't look for it. My OB and I were a week apart on dates. We ended up splitting the difference.

@mrs. Jacks Well I did see a hb, so that was good. She just didn't tell me the rate.

@googly-eyes: I wouldn't stress about dates.. especially since your periods were irregular. Also, it's a good sign that you haven't had any bleeding. I had a lot of bleeding around week 6 and spotting throughout til the end of my 2nd trimester. Had a healthy baby girl though! Worrying can't be good for you, so try to think happy positive thoughts!

@Chopsuey119: I am going to try to focus on the positives and relax until tomorrow (or the next day due to the holiday) when I can call. Positives: The doctor did say that I don't have any risk factors, nothing was abnormal in my blood tests, I still have symptoms, no bleeding, and the doctor DID say that at every appointment it might show a little different of a due date. All this stress has just been in the back of my head for the last few weeks since the appointment, and now that I took the time to think about it today I'm freaking out. Whew...breathe...

I agree with the rest, try not to worry! I got my bfp at 3 wks so it's definitely possible!

just wanted to say good luck at your appointment and i hope you were worried for NOTHING! =)
i know when i went in for my first u/s, they weren't even sure i had 2 in me. that was around 5 or 6 weeks. and for the next 2 weeks or so (had to see them every week), they kept saying 1 was really small blah blah. but now, at almost 33 weeks, they're the same size =).... don't fret. nothing you can do until you see the results. easier said than done.

Thanks for all the encouragement.
I called the OB's office today and spoke with the nurse about this and another question.. she seemed to be laughing and said 1) it is possible to test positive at 3w (hopefully she knew I meant and like one or no days, and I know it's uncommon!) and 2) it's nothing to worry about! I have an appointment next Wednesday so I'm just going to be positive til then!
