What are ya'll doing with the too small clothes? I have a huge bin of it now (SOB!) but I don't know if I can part with it, and we have no plans for #2 anytime soon. But it is taking up valuable space in the house!

@mrsjyw: I wish I could get excited for fall gear but it's going to be just as hot as it is now for months to come. I do get to be exited for her to wear all the dresses that now fit her though! I intentionally bought all the clothes I picked out for her in larger sizes since I knew we would be gifted all the little stuff. So finally she's wearing what I bought her!

@highwire: i'm giving some away that ds never wore, i've got two binfuls right now that i need to dig through and save for future or donate/consign... too lazy. i think i'm going to wait until his 1 year... we have a huge holiday break and i'll probably go through it all then and keep favorites, gender neutral.

i've noticed that as we go ALL IN solids, his onesies won't get saved for future use anyway

@highwire: I sort through everytime something is too tight and put it in a pile for save/consign/donate. I don't know anyone with a LO on the way that I'd want to give it to. If I love(d) it, I'm saving it for LO#2 if I didn't, it goes up on Ebay, local sale group, or to the consignment shop

@lindseykaye: ahhhh FL weather, and YES-- it's crazy to think that we actually have to go shopping for clothes now. like i don't feel guilty buying, since we actually NEED it. his 18-24 month pile of clothes is slim... we're just starting to get to 12 month stuff

@mrsjyw: Right? I just lost two onesies to a banana situation.

@highwire: I set stuff aside as I find it doesn't fit like @scg00387 does and then after I get a big enough pile to be annoying I go through and sort into keepsake, save for future LO, and give away/donate.
The keepsake clothes are hers alone, items that I have special memories of or special photos of her wearing that I plan to give her for her own children to someday (maybe?) wear. My mom did this for me and it has been so special. And we're not having another LO for maybe 4 years or so but I am willing to keep the clothes for that long even though we have no space.
It sounds crazy even as I type it but in my mind if I give away all these girl clothes, I will of course have another girl. If I go through the effort of sorting and keeping them I will have a boy (which we would love) and it will have been a waste of time. I am nuts.

@lindseykaye: @highwire do you have family you could con into lending you storage space?? My sister *just* sold off her baby clothes that were stored at my folks house... and my nieces are turning 8 this year

I've been using the empty diaper boxes and storing the small clothes. Since we aren't done with having kids I plan to keep them in the spare room until we have another one. After that I plan to donate them to the local women's shelter.

I was just piling them in a bin in his closet, it is overflowing but now that #2 is on the way I have an excuse to just leave it there. No reason to pack it in the basement if we'll just take it out in mere months. So lazy.

@highwire: My Bro and SIL are due with a baby girl the day before M's first bday so I'm shipping ALLLLLL her clothes up to them since the sizes/seasons will be spot on. Then if we have another girl in the future my SIL will ship is all right back to me.

Just had Ellie's 9 month appointment (I still can't believe it!) and she has grown!
    weight: 18lb 8oz (50%)
    height: 29" (90%)
    head: 43.5cm (25%)

Still long and lean with a little noggin We're on the traditional schedule so no vaccines this time. With all her physical milestones happening so quickly her doctor expects her to walk before 1yr (though I don't know if that will truly be the case as she doesn't stand independently quite yet). These babies - they are growing too fast!

my LO is 26.75in (18%), 18lb13oz (61%) and i don't remember the head measurement but it was 87th percentile! i think the percentiles are the same as 6 month except alittle taller. haha love my big headed baby!

    9 month stats today:

    20 lbs 9.5 oz weight, 78%
    28.25 in length, 73%
    18.25 in head, 96%

    Big girl all around!

@turkeylurkey: we had our 9 month check too!
weight 20ish height 28ish head super huge (50%/50%/95%). He was NOT thrilled with the measurements so I'm not sure how accurate they were, especially height! Silly baby.

@scg00387: M also hated getting her height measured!!

    We were:
    Weight: 16lbs 14ounces (30th %)
    Height: 27.5 inches (50th %)
    Head: 17.25 inches (50th % I think?)

    She's my string bean!

A's stats: 19.8 lbs, 18.75 in head, 28.5 in height!

@MamaMoose: @scg00387: Ellie hates when they measure her head rather than her height! The nurse who originally measured this time was off and when the doc looked at them and saw that she was 90% height, and 10% head size she knew something was off and had another nurse come back for a re-do.
Still a little peanut head at 25% but better than 10% considering her other stats!

Hmm I posted E's stats on Milestone thread! OPPS
    Weight 19.13
    Height 28
    Head 18

I think my doctor's height chart is off because he told me that was 40% but all of you are saying between 50-70%. Or maybe it was his eyes reading the wrong line! LOL

Got all of Cs fall wardrobe in 12 month size at the Carter's store. They also had my beloved cotton footed zippered sleep n plays!! I couldn't even find those on their website. I snatched up every single color/pattern they had. The feet have those rubber dealies on them so they are non skid, too. Score!
