@hilsy85: I will be 7 weeks 5 days exactly, so def far enough along to see heartbeat. I was googling last night the chance of miscarriage after seeing heartbeat for various weeks, and it really drops around 7/8 weeks compared to 6, so I am kind of glad to be going then. I'm just hoping everything is ok! Yea my DH would totally think I'm nuts if I asked for more blood work

@NovBaby1112: haha I did the same when I was pregnant with DS, I was constantly googling "risk of miscarriage at ___ weeks". I never stopped worrying when I was pregnant with DS so I promised DH I would relax this time but it's hard! Especially after a loss

@hilsy85: I'm nervous about my progesterone, too. It was only 18 which they said is borderline, they like to see it at 20 or above. But then the nurse told me today that my OB doesn't think I need to be put on progesterone and that the number is fine. Which doesn't make sense because they put me on the suppositories when my number was 21 with DS. I told her I would feel more comfortable taking the progesterone, so we'll see what she says.

@NovBaby1112: My RE said they like beta numbers to double or increase by 50% every 2 days, so it looks like you are good. They just don't want that number decreasing. Also, don't look at Leialou and my beta numbers, we transferred two embryos so we are could very well have twins in there. We both will find out on Monday. Eeek! Can't wait to find out how many took but, also, cautiously know that some twins don't make it. If I can get one baby in my arm come October I would be over the moon and would be even more excited about twins. I know it will be tough but I keep saying that having IF all these years has definitely tested my patience. Hoping we'll be able to handle whatever number of babies are in there.

@Leialou: I saw your post about wanting bubbles but Sprite being too sweet. I am obsessed with La Croix sparkling water. No sugar or artificial sweeteners. The grapefruit and the cherry lime are delicious!

I've been wanting to join this board for a while, but I also have been wanting to stay incognito. But, here I am! My LMP gave me a rough due date of Oct 1 (thought that was cool because my birthday is in October), but I had an ultrasound a couple days ago that put me at Sept 30. Can I still join the group?
I think chatting with other ladies will help get me more adjusted to the shock of this pregnancy.
Baby #3, here we go.....

@hilsy85: yeah....i'm still beyond shocked. We were actively preventing. I didn't even find out until around 28 DPO because I had no idea it could even be a remote possibility. So....here we are!

@NurseDMB: did they take the progesterone twice when they did your betas? or just once?
kiwi / 643 posts
@hilsy85: Nope, just once! They said only once is needed and they normally don't do it again. I'm still waiting for them to call back about my hcg results from this morning so I think I'm just going to ask if my OB can call in a prescription for the suppositories.

@NurseDMB: @NovBaby1112: just found this chart, which makes me feel a bit better...looks like it's a pretty low percentage (10%) once the HCG doubles appropriately.

EDD: Sept 30 (but hopefully I get an October baby!)
How far along: I think 7 weeks 2 days
# of kids: this will be baby #3! And our very last baby.
Doctor appointment: I had an ultrasound on Wednesday which gave me my EDD and we got to see the heartbeat. On March 3rd, I'm getting another ultrasound to monitor a large subchorionic bleed I have and to get a blood draw for the progenity test. (And we will find out sex!)
Symptoms: exhaustion, nausea and vomiting, cramping, bloated
Who have I told: hardly anyone! A few close girlfriends and my DH. That's it! It's just sort of sinking in....we will tell family in a few weeks probably.
Congratulations to all of you beautiful mamas. Can't wait to keep in touch with you all and watch your bumps grow. Happy and healthy nine months, sweet moms!

@Alivoo01: I just realized I never answered you on the book! The book club was for the book Orphan Train which was amazing and I'm currently reading All the Light We Cannot See.

I found some Annie's mac and cheese in my pantry and it is the best thing I've eaten in days. I haven't had meat in a few days. I should probably try to get some protein in... but it sounds so gross!

I had lunch with a friend today, who doesn't know I'm preggers (bc very few people do) and I ate way too much for my current state. You know how you are supposed to eat small meals when you're pregnant, I failed. ow.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: congrats!! And welcome!!
I already legit have a bump. I'm petrified for my first apt and to see how much I've gained. It doesn't make sense to only be 7weeks and already have this size belly!! With dd I really didn't start showing until 15 weeks. Uggghhhhhh

@Charm54: I definitely look pregnant! I haven't told anyone yet, so I'm hiding in flow tops!

We told my parents' tonight! They were so shocked and excited. My dad just sent me a picture of a merry-go-round with the caption "Checking out future playing locations for grandkid."
We had to do it on facetime, I sent them a book on being grandparents and when they opened it and figured it out there was a lot of screaming and crying. I recorded the whole thing. It was great. I'm an only child and this will be their first (and probably only) grandkid.
Next week we tell my DH's family!
