@natalie403: did you transfer two embryos? I did and can't wait to find out how many stuck next week!

  3. natalie403

    grape / 91 posts

@Leialou: We transferred just 1! But they said it was a rockstar This was my first IVF (I'm 29). I previously have done 6 IUI's. and had 1 IVF cycle canceled right prior to this. I suppose there's always a chance it split though ahhhhh!

When is your next appt?? How has your levels been so far??

@natalie403: my appointment is Monday. I'll be 6w6d so I'm hoping to see the heartbeat. I only had two betas at 14dpo and 16dpo and the numbers were 269 and 568. Since they doubled my RE didn't have me do anymore.

@natalie403: I'm 31 and I had 6 failed IUIs (at two different clinics). (Sorry about joining the 'IUIs didn't work for me' club. This is my first IVF cycle. My RE wanted to skip the fresh transfer so I retrieved my eggs in Oct 2014 and did a frozen transfer at the end of January. We transferred 2. We would love to have twins and maybe triplets. My brother is joking that there's 4 in there. I told him to stop thinking that and to think of lower numbers. We had a good conversation about mini-vans recently. He has 3 kids. I don't ever want a mini-van but DH said he wouldn't mind. My brother said it's all about the sliding doors. It's so funny seeing my younger brother talk about being a dad. So glad we can learn from him and his kids.

@natalie403: Great 3rd beta. What day past transfer were you? Did you look on the betabase website? I might be obsessed with that site. I had my 3rd and last beta on Sunday. It was 11dp5dt (or 16 DPO) and it was 1413. 14 DPO was 584 and 12 DPO was 213. From the beta base website, it looks like I could have 1,2 or 3 babies in there. My first ultrasound is next Monday and I can't wait to see how many stuck.

@babybronco: great birthday present! I am hoping I go a little early to give a bit more space in between LOs birthdays--don't want LO1 to feel overshadowed. But can't really control it, so oh well!

@NovBaby1112: yep totally a double edged sword...I sometimes think that being at work and having my mind busy would make it easier than having to play cars all day long (not exactly getting my mind off how tired I am...) but being able to nap is a huge plus!

@NovBaby1112: Beta yesterday was 655! It was 82 at 12 DPO so the doubling time was about 40 hours. I'm so relieved and now I'm really looking forward to telling our families. We'll tell my inlaws this weekend and then my family the following weekend.

Also, is anyone having seriously painful nipples? They hurt SO bad!

  14. hilsy85

@babybronco: myEDD is 2 days before DHs bday...he's not too upset thoughbc he figures he would rather celebrate his kids bday than focus on how old he is getting

@hilsy85: ha, M has been home with me the past few days bc of the crazy snow we've had so no daycare, and let's just say I.am.exhausted! huge props to you mama !!

Hi Mamas! I haven't been around HB for about a year I guess, but I thought of y'all today when I saw the BFP

Looking forward to meeting and catching up. I really enjoyed HB during my last pregnancy!

    Location: Maryland

EDD: Oct 21 is what the online thing tells me.

How far along: That would be 3 weeks.

First child? Nope. I have a little boy who turns 4 tomorrow and a girl who is 19 mos,

First doctor appointment: New to the area so I'm struggling to find a provider. Wrote down some numbers and need to make calls tomorrow.

Any symptoms so far? I'm one of those really sensitive people who knows right away. Sore boobs, nausea, bloating, backache, dizziness

Who have you told? My husband and I texted a friend because I was so freaked out I had to tell someone to make it real.

    Take care, ladies!

@Leialou: Will that be your first ultrasound? How exciting!! Good luck

@bluestriped bee: My 6th IUI worked but was a crazy roller coaster, went from being CP to my hcg spiking back up after dropping, suspected ectoptic but number was too small to see anything so luckily went down naturally over the course of almost a month! (back in Oct). Then my first IVF got canceled after 9 days of stimming with no response and this IVF dose changed and now my BFP!
Wow triplets ahhh! Did you ever see the story of the woman who ended up with quads after transferring 2? I followed her story on fb, they are all born now!

We transferred on 1/26 and first beta was on 2/5 (10pt). So my 3rd beta was 15dpt! What beta website??? Do tell!! Good luck at your first ultrasound next week!

  20. BSB

hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts

@natalie403: Yeah, I followed the quadruplets on FB, too. Such an amazing story.

    The beta website is http://www.betabase.info

ETA: Sorry about your 6th IUI ending in a chemical.
Thank you! I'm keeping myself distracted this week. I'm hoping this week and weekend flies by and Monday will be here before I know it.

So I know we are all pretty early on, but I perused the maternity wear at target today (got a super cute sweater at 70% to wear next Sept and Oct when I'm surely ginormous). I also saw this... totally appropriate maternity wear for us since we will all be big this summer... right??

I've been lurking for a week, and think it's time to join

    Location: SF Bay Area

    EDD: October 20th

How far along: About 4 weeks

First child? No, my daughter will be 18 months this friday

First doctor appointment:Haven't called yet! Probably will tomorrow

Any symptoms so far? Some food aversions, super smell, light nausea, and fatigue. It has also made nursing really uncomfortable, even though my boobs aren't sore like last time.

Who have you told? DH and a few close friends

  31. Alivoo01

    wonderful olive / 19353 posts

@babybronco: Girl, if you can rock that top - go for it! lol

@My Only Sunshine: Boo for morning sickness. None of me yet; and I'm hoping it stays away (*fingers crossed*). I'm definitely tired with sleep insomnia and my boobs are a lil achy. My appetite seems to have also vanished.

@JessKas: Another August 2013 mama!! Woohoo!! Congrats and welcome lady!

I know this sounds odd. But I feel normal today, which oddly freaks me out. I'm sure it is just my body adjusting, but still. Weird...

@babybronco: totally normal!! I mean think about how teeny baby is at this point still. Also that top--awesome!

Also if anyone's nausea is helped by super sour stuff. I am trying out le pain quotidians new seasonal drink (hot lemon water with honey and ginger) and it is amazing!!

@My Only Sunshine: SO queasy! It's just a constant feeling...blah. @hellobeeboston told me about sea bands and those helping with nausea so I might try that!

@JessKas: congrats and welcome! Yay getting more October mamas!

@babybronco: I think it's normal! Some days I feel awful and others I feel fine...

@hilsy85: oh wow that sounds yummy! I've anything with lemon and honey- will definitely have to try that.

  39. jodyblair

@babybronco: I didn't have any symptoms at all yesterday, and today I'm exhausted. So weird how the symptoms come and go. And my appetite seems to have gone MIA. Nothing sounds good, and then I get super hungry but I don't want to eat. Strange.

I called my doctor today...not seeing me until March 5th. I was really hoping for an appointment in 2 weeks because in my mind you should be able to do an ultrasound then....guess I just have to wonder if everything is okay.

Is everyone feeling soooo exhausted? I came home today and didn't move from the couch until I got up to come to bed. I feel like I am carrying a ton of bricks...luckily no nausea yet though!
