@hilsy85: if we have another boy (which I'm pretty sure we are), his name will most likely be Nicholas. I really want to use Leo as the middle name because that was my grandfather's middle name. My other favorite boy names are Jack, Benjamin, and Nolan.
Girl names - I have a lot I like including Elena, Claire, Mila, Catherine, etc. But DH pretty much vetoed them all! We disagree on names all the time.

@NurseDMB: I LOVE Nicholas. But someone DH knew from work died last year and his name was Nicholas samelastnameasus. So Im 99.99% sure it's out for us.

We're having an elective gender ultrasound today at 5:30, I'm so excited! I just hope they are able to tell today because I already planned a get together with my family right after the ultrasound to announce it to them.
Our girl name is Evelyn Renee and boy is Thomas Marvin.

Hmmm, I spotting today and I'm at 14w5d. I had an ultrasound yesterday at the OB and both babies were doing well.
Today, with the spotting, I have very mild cramps.
I'll call my OB and hope that it's nothing.

I had my 16 week appointment today and everything is normal. I got to hear the heartbeat and it was 155. My OB signed a consent form for me to have the elective ultrasound on Monday! I'm going back on 5/21 for my anatomy scan and 20 week appointment.

@Bea: thanks! So my OB wants to see me today. Do an u\s and check my cervix. Make sure my cervix isn't thinning. I wasn't that worried before but now I am. Hoping everything is okay. DH is currently on a plane headed to CO. I'm sure he'll be worried when he gets off the plane and I tell him.

As for names, we just have one giant list, but nothing seems just right. I am looking for more names to add until we find "the one." We've already gotten to use our two favorite girl names, so this his hard. Some of our favorites are: Sylvie, Ramona, Eloise, Daphne, Louisa, Hazel, Violet Zara, Thea, Magnolia, Juliette.....

I had my 17w apt today, heartbeat was good at 150.... I'm only up 1lb so they told me to eat some more high quality foods and an extra slice of cake at supper won't hurt. I think I can manage that
We have our ultrasound in a few weeks and I can't wait! Though we are
so it won't be too exciting, haha!

Everything is fine. OB says its a subchorionic bleed. Babies are fine.

Can I just vent for a minute about names? My DH is driving me crazy with name meanings and if the name we like doesn't have a good "meaning" he tosses it off list- so frustrating!! For instance I love Grayson but it means son of gray. Or Benjamin but it means son of the right hand (and of course DH is left handed!) so aggravating!

@NovBaby1112: OMG my dh is the SAME WAY. He refuses to consider any name that he doesn't like the meaning of--like I love Fiona but it means white, and he doesn't like that. And Cora, which means maiden--not "meaningful" enough for him. And he won't do anything with a religious significance, like gift of God or anything.

@hilsy85: OMG lol isn't it ridiculous!? Glad to see I'm not the only one who has to deal with it. I don't even think I knew my name meaning until I met DH! It's just not a big deal to me...so sad all these names we have to toss just for the meaning!
Anytime I find a new name I like the first words out of his mouth are: "hmm let me look up the meaning" grr.

@natalie403: prob not unfortunately...DH started a new job in Feb and will take off some time when the baby comes, plus we are traveling in June for a wedding, so I think we won't be able to take any trips this summer
I am hoping to leave LO with his grandparents for a weekend so we at least get some alone/down time.

@natalie403: We had plans of going to Hawaii, but its a bit expensive. We considered possibly going to San Diego, but that can be expensive, too. So right now we are leaning towards going to Cabo in June.
