    @BelugaBean: Have a wonderful time!!!

@HILSY85: I hope you are able to get a weekend away!!

@BLUESTRIPED BEE: Cabo sounds like fun!! I would die to go to Hawaii but it's way too expensive to get there from CT!

@Mrs. Pickle: How was it??? That sounds amazing!!

We found a trip in our price range for Cozumel, looking to go last week of May which would be around 19weeks

@natalie403: we find out the same day, we can be waiting buddies. there are a couple (check the gender thread I think it's on there) within a week of us too.

@natalie403: I have an OB appt on May 19th. I'll be 18 weeks. We might be able to find out the sexes then. If not I have another OB appt on June 16 and I'll be 22 weeks.

Yeah, we are trying to stay on the west coast (less flight time). There was an opportunity to go to Florida because my MIL has a house there. If I lived on the east coast, I would so consider going to the Caribbean... since I've never been. When we move back east, I'll get my chance to go.

@natalie403: probably not just the two of us, we have to go to a wedding in OH in June, and then at the end of Aug our daycare lady takes 2 weeks vacation, so we will prob do something as a family then, maybe cape cod.

@natalie403: oh, never mind on the next OB appts. They had my due date off so I have to wait til my reschedule 20 week appt to learn the genders. So now I gotta wait till Jun 2nd to find out.

Hey mamas! How about some questions?!

    How far along are you?

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out?

    Any current symptoms?

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration?

What are you most looking forward to at the moment?

How far along are you? 14 weeks 1 day

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? Not yet! We go for an elective gender ultrasound next Saturday! So excited

Any current symptoms? Just sore boobs and heightened sense of smell. Other than that, nothing.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? Nope not until we find out the sex of this baby, but I'm excited to decorate this time around - with DS we moved into our new house when he was only 1 month old and I just never got around to decorating his room.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Finding out the sex of this baby next Saturday! And feeling movement.

    How far along are you?
    -16 weeks 3 days

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out?
    -I'm finding out Monday!

    Any current symptoms?
-stuffy nose, and when I try to go to sleep I can feel my heart beating in my stomach. It's weird!

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration?
-I know how I want to place the furniture in the room. DH is planning on building the crib and some book ledges. I've got to refinish my childhood toy box. I'm going to paint the room a pale green no matter the sex of the baby, but I am going to pick a more boyish or girlish fabric to make black out curtains. The room won't have a theme.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment?
-My mom arriving for a week long visit today and finding out the sex Monday! Also I'm looking forward to feeling kicks.

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? Hopefully find out at my dr appt in about a week and half.

Any current symptoms? None! Not even a bump which if I'm completely honest kind of worries me. Sigh.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? Kind of thinking light beachy hues that could go either boy or girl. Could add deeper blues or coral depending on the gender.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? My next appt, boy or girl, and seeing DH as a daddy

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? Girl!

Any current symptoms? Very sore boobs, tired, starting to have to pee more often.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? Yep...this baby will be sharing DS' room, which is currently painted grey. I am undecided as make it grey, coral, and navy, or do grey and a neutral color like orange or yellow.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Our anatomy scan on 5/6; feeling the baby move!

How far along are you? 15 weeks today!

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? We will find out at our 20 week appt... June 2nd.

Any current symptoms? Nausea still. Frequent urination. Showing a bump, but I've been covering it up so its not so noticable.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? We are waiting to find out what we are having. DH said two boys, we'll have a Jurassic park theme. One of each, I'm hoping we can do a disney type theme. Two girls.. I have no idea.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? For the nausea to go away and finding out the sexes.

@NurseDMB: @Mrs. Pickle: I should have put kicks too! Cannot wait!

@Bea: I feel like weeks 13-15 are hard to get through. Sure, the miscarriage stage is past but you have to go a month between appointments and there isn't much evidence that you're pregnant. It was hard for me!

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? i should be able to find out at my appt may 15th. trying to figure out a cute way to reveal to ourselves since DH won't be able to be at the appt. and i want to find out together! cupcake maybe? need to do some research!

Any current symptoms? hungry all the time! and my growing belly.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? nope! ha. we are renting short term (hopefully buying next year) and LO2 will be in our room for a few months like LO1 was. i'm more looking at slowly buying things to make LO1's room ready for big girl stuff!

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? my next appt to find out the sex and then probably announcing and being "out in the open." we've told friends as we see them!

Can we talk about baby movement? I will be 18 weeks on Sunday, and for the last couple weeks I was feeling the baby move pretty consistently. But then last week we got norovirus and I was REALLY sick (needed an IV). I went into urgent care on Friday (so exactly a week ago) and heard the baby's heart beat. But ever since then, I haven't felt her move once. I am really freaked out!
I am wondering if all the heaving and the constant "distress" with my inner organs just made her shift to a weird position and that's why I can't feel her anymore? I literally haven't felt a single flutter in a week.
Do you guys feel any movement?

How far along are you? I will be 18 weeks on Sunday.

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? We are having a girl. This will be our third girl!

Any current symptoms? The heartburn and acid reflux. OMG. I have already had to say goodbye to chocolate. By 7pm most days I have already consumed half a bottle of TUMS. Also, I still haven't gotten through the fatigue period. I am so, so exhausted all the time.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? No. We already have two girl "nurseries," for our other two girls, so after the new baby stays in our room for a while, she will move into one of the other girls' rooms and the two older ones will share and have bunk beds.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Probably our anatomy scan on May 4th. I want to make sure everything is okay! Also looking forward to picking out a name. We haven't come up with anything that sounds like "the one" yet.

How far along are you? 16w2d

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? I find out on May 14th! And am totally impatient for someone who considered going tg, lol.

Any current symptoms? Not sure it's totally pregnancy related but off and on bladder issues, sometimes feels like uti but all tests are negative. Definitely getting a bump... sometimes looking way too bumpy for 16w!!

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? The kiddos will be room sharing (but luckily we do have a guest loft so if we need extra space, it's there.) I think we're going to revert sort of back to dd's nursery theme, beachy. We already have a lot of yellow in there, and some aqua and pink. So I think if it's a boy we'll do mostly aqua and yellow, but not sure. Not too fancy though!

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Next doc appointment, making sure everythings ok in there. Feeling (for sure) movement & finding out the sex!

  24. 2littlepumpkins

    grapefruit / 4455 posts

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I don't know if you have any lingering tummy issues from being sick but I definitely do from the thing I had in the first trimester.. so I can't tell if it's baby or tummy. But I think some is baby. Hope that is the case for you.. I tend to be a worrier so I'd freak out too but if baby was ok and you were treated there's no reason for everything not to be ok in there. (Did I say that right? I mean everything's probably just fine!)

We're all out of the first trimester now right? YAY!

Any current symptoms? Nausea is gone for the most part...just mainly hungry and tired at night, but that's typical

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? Not sure yet. This LO will go into M's old nursery, which is already pained a light blue. Saw this crib sheet and will probably do something along these lines....

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? My anatomy scan on May 4th!

Any current symptoms? So. Much. Heartburn. And still a little nausea here and there.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? We're using this bedding and I'm leaning towards painting the room a beige color. I can't wait to get started on it!

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Feeling more distinct movement and getting a bigger bump.

Any current symptoms? Heartburn has started up ... I had it quite bad with my DD but only in the 3rd tri...I got a prescription as soon as I started having symptoms this time!
Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? Nursery will be the same since we were the first time too so it is neutral. I'm having lots of fun decorating DDs big girl room though!
What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Seeing DD meet her new sibling, and the moment when DH tells me if we had a boy or a girl !!

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? Boy!
Any current symptoms? Upset stomach lately.
Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? We're going to do a nautical nursery with anchors and whales in Navy blue, grey, and a little lime green.
What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Feeling actual movement. Right now I feel little twinges, which I'm not sure if it's actual movement, since most people describe the first movement as flutters.

14 weeks 4 days, although baby was measuring 6 days ahead at the NT scan

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out?
Not yet, anatomy scan set for May 26th

    Any current symptoms?
A little lingering nausea, still some fatigue, super itchy legs (WTF), and I'm rocking a pretty good size baby bump.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration?
We're not planning on a nursery. We are a bed sharing family, and plan on putting a full in LO#1's room (which is used as a playroom) for nights when LO#2 is up a lot so the two of us can go in there. Eventually plan on both babes sleeping in there together.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment?
Big baby kicks (I think I've felt flutters, but it can be hard to tell at this point), and finding out the sex. I thought we would be team green again but DH really wants to find out, and I'm starting to get excited about finding out soon!

Do you know what you're having? If not, when will you find out? Nope, but hopefully we will find out on May 19th at our anatomy scan!

Any current symptoms? I have had a stuffy/ runny nose since I found out I was pregnant and that hasn't gone away. I have gone through a lot of kleenex. My tummy is kind of itchy sometimes, but that's about it. Teeny bump starting.

Have you considered nursery colors, themes, or inspiration? We are having a teal / turquoise colour I loved from our old house and used in case that was our baby room and it's called "baby linen" and gray. I also decided I wanted elephants. We picked up a white sheet from pottery barn kids with grey elephants on it and my mum is painting a hand-me down crib and dresser grey for us.

What are you most looking forward to at the moment? Feeling baby move! And the anatomy scan to make sure everything is cool and actually see our baby looking like a baby and not a blob.

  34. NurseDMB

@renee0106: With DS in the beginning the movement never felt like flutters to me - it felt more like a bubble popping or a goldfish bumping into my belly! So what you're feeling could definitely be movement!

@Mrs. Goose: My stomach is so itchy. I also have a itchy rash on my face. I don't know if its from something I ate or something else. My OB said I can take some benedryl.

  36. JessKas

    pear / 1693 posts

@bluestriped bee: the itchiness could also be from something you're using. When I was pregnant with #1 my belly was terribly itchy and I got a rash. Turns out I was allergic to the Palmer's cocoa butter I was using...

  37. Mrs. Goose

    pear / 1737 posts

@bluestriped bee: @JessKas: I think my stomach, currently anyway, is unhappy about being covered by a stomach panel everyday and a shirt along with my use of coconut oil. I don't use it everyday and it is just plain organic coconut oil, but I did get a rash on the sides of my belly and it is still there a bit. I give it a break some days or try a lotion. I had been using it on my legs and scalp before pregnancy though with no problem. I also have sort of sensitive skin though and have a history of randomly getting a little rash on my arm or leg and then it goes away. I am doomed to get the pregnancy rash later I am sure! Midwife just said they only worry about a rash right now for measles and mumps, but my immunity is still good.

Anyway, some itchyness is due to the stretching skin I guess. I was so dry and itchy one night I lept off the couch and covered my legs, arms, tummy in lotion. When it gets hotter here I hope to wear looser clothing and I think that will help my tummy breathe. I hope anyway!

How is everyone doing this Monday morning? I finally announced on social media on Friday, so that was fun to hear people's reactions

In not so fun news, I am seriously suffering from what I think are migraines I am calling my OB today to see what she recommends. I've never had them before, and they suck!

@NovBaby1112: @jodyblair: love that bedding! I am also looking at PBK for crib bedding...I love that you can buy the sheet and skirt separately from the bumper.

@hilsy85: I've had one migraine and lots of headaches. I went home from work with the migraine after my vision came back (lost it in the peripherals of my right eye) and now just have headaches daily. I think for me the headaches are a mix of things. I'm not sleeping well, they always happen around a meal time (so I've been trying to do better about snacking in between), and I'm probably not drinking as much water as I should. I'm trying to work on all these things and hope it gets better. I have an appt next week so I will mention it then. Hope it gets better for you friend!
