Loving all the bump pics! I feel like I'm just starting one (14 weeks today!), but it's still just barely enough that I notice it and nobody else really would.
@jaguar: Yes, definitely getting the round ligament pain randomly if I cough or sometimes just move the wrong way, but lightning crotch? Ergh... I'm not even sure I want to know what that is!

Yay! Thanks for the bump pics-- I have popped majorly and it's nice to see the rest of you, too! Last night I tried on an old maternity shirt and looked about 6 months along.
Went to watch hubs run a marathon this weekend and wore my 40lb toddler on my back for 4 miles of walking (have to give her some credit for walking another 3 on her own, though!) This morning I feel like I'm the one who ran a marathon! Oofta.
2nd appointment Thursday- 15 weeks along today!

16 weeks -- I was already carrying some extra weight from my previous pregnancy. And for some reason it was all focused on my stomach. So I'd say half of my stomach is fat and other half is actual baby stuff.

@TFrances: You look so good!
Guys, I'm dying. For the past two days I've had horrible sinus headaches all afternoon/evening and I feel it coming on again today. I think I'm going to have to head to the doctor and get checked for a sinus infection. Tylenol cannot even touch the pain and I'm pretty much worthless all afternoon/evening.

Cute bumps all around! I still feel very far from a noticeable bump (13w2d)...but I know it will get here eventually. I am secretly hoping to have something noticeable by early May when we take a trip to NYC to visit friends - I'd rather walk around looking slightly pregnant rather than just overweight! Sigh
@avivoca: Oh boy, do I sympathize with the headache pain you're experiencing. It's an awful feeling when it starts to "cycle" in and out for multiple days. I hope your doctor can help you break out of it.

@avivoca: Have you ever tried a neti pot? I have allergies and sinus issues and it helps a lot if you can't take any meds. I use the Sinus Rinse squirt bottle one. It's super gross and takes some getting used to to use it right but will be a lifesaver.

@dookie32: I haven't tried it. I use saline spray usually. So far, my Tylenol and the gallon of water I've drank have been helping. It's so darn hot here right now (84F outside and in the 70s in my office), so I'm just mainlining water and trying not to move much. But thank you! I'll look into it.

Is anyone else (especially FTMs) binge-online-shopping for maternity clothes? I can't stop buying stuff. It's at the point where DH is commenting on the packages arriving every day, so I've started having them shipped to my office then smuggling them home lol

@avivoca: unfortunately when I have a sinus infection, only Advil really helps

@mfa_lady: hahahahah yes! Can't sit still!
@avivoca: ouch ..sorry!
@TFrances: Perfect bump!!!!
@thepicklemonster: No I think I'm the opposite this time...lol I need some but can't find myself buying it

@TapDancer: That is the struggle once it looks like a real bump I'll rock it, right now I feel like it looks like ob just ate a huge meal

I am getting a little insomnia after getting up to pee at night, but it works out to be the only time I can check in here!
@avivoca: I can't remember if you do regular acupuncture but it dramatically helped my pre-pregnancy sinus/ocular headaches and migraines. I've had a few fleeting aches like a 5-day headache is going to start and then it just stops. My pre-pregnancy headaches were hormonal and IVF made them worse and more intense (like I wanted to scrape out my eyeballs). Around that time (about 5+ months before getting pregnant), the regular headaches just stopped. Before that, the only OTCs that could ever take the edge off them was ibuprofen....but like 800 mg... I hope you find relief soon!
DH saw me with a fitted tank and maternity pants last evening and he said "you have a belly now!" I guess I've kinda' popped! I have a few more weeks until I can have.a face-to-face with my boss/the owner and announce this pregnancy, so I guess I'm dressing boho chic with our shared clients and colleagues until then. Fingers crossed! (ETA: I run a satellite office.)

@Amorini: awwww I remember when DH said that with DD about my bump, it made me feel like I was really PG
This time around he says I'm not showing at all, I'm like dude....lol
Good luck with the boss

Dude our toddler is in some kind of sleep regression or maybe it's just because it's so frigging bright at 515 am but for the past few weeks he's suddenly up for the day at 530. I wake up at least once, usually twice to pee. So now I'm getting like 7 hours of broken sleep at night. Sometimes I wonder what we were thinking with a third baby!!!!!!

@winniebee: awful awful! I'm so sorry!!!
Is it that bright at 5:15?! It's dark here still at 6:10?

New symptoms: possible flutters? I can't tell
Old symptoms: heartburn! And still can't really eat after 7pm
Pregnancy related funny: ordered my favorite turkey sandwich by accident. Had to explain that I couldn't eat it so they could keep it...
New news: I've got a long plane flight coming up for work, and I'm super worried about getting airsick (it happens when I get too hot on planes or if there is turbulence). I got some Diclegis samples from my OB to try. Has anyone tried that before?
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
New symptoms: possible flutters
Old symptoms: still nauseous and very little sounds good to eat
Pregnancy related funny: my 4 year old telling me how fat my belly is
New news: Nothing really. We are on vacation next week, so that should be fun.

@thepicklemonster: I'm not really a shopping person, so no. But last time I was pregnant my mil totally did. Once a week I'd get home to find she dropped off new clothes shed bought for me. Not necessary what I would have bought for myself, but it was free. She actually still does it for dd. I think I've only bought 15 or so items for her. Wish is nice in a way, but takes away the fun of baby clothes shopping.
nectarine / 2210 posts
New symptoms: I'm gagging less when brushing my teeth.
Old symptoms: still so tired. Not as exhausted as I was earlier, but after dd goes to sleep I just want to hang out on the couch the rest of the night.
Funny: we tried to tell dd there was a baby in me, but no age points to hers and dh's belly and says baby. Def doesn't get it! Ha!
New news: about 2 weeks ago my company was bought by a much larger, Fortune 500, company. They've basically told everyone they'll be keeping all our employees but there's a lot of unknowns. Definitely makes the idea of a maternity leave a little untimely.

New symptoms: Tightness in the skin on my feet. I think they are starting to swell up... Doesn't help that it's been over 80 here this week (not normal).
Old symptoms: Scar tissue/ligament pain (still horrible some days), nausea (faded but still there), gas/digestive issues
Pregnancy related funny: Ummm.... nothing?
New news: Going in for the anatomy scan on May 2nd. Can't wait.

New symptoms: not sure if pregnancy related, but I've had a migraine since yesterday and been congested for the past week
Old symptoms: none really, food aversions and exhaustion seem to be going away!
Pregnancy related funny: not exactly "funny" I guess, but I got my first "are you pregnant?" Last week. Apparently I was walking down the hall at work rubbing my belly. I was taken aback, but it was a coworker I'm friends with, so I fessed up.
New news: scheduled the anatomy scan for May 20! Seems so far away! I used my doctor's due date of 10/7 instead of 10/12 to get in a little early

New symptoms: RLP. Especially when I get up out of my work chair.
Old symptoms: Still SO tired. And appetite is still weird--never know when I'll want to eat and what I'll feel like eating.
Pregnancy related funny: I'm trying to teach my 15 month old that there's a baby in my belly. She sometimes touches my belly and says "BEBE!" but I'm almost positive she's starting to think there's a baby in ALL bellies...
New news: Anatomy scan scheduled super late--June 23! I'll be almost 22 weeks, but my doctor's on vacation the previous week and we're on vacation the week before that. We're TG, so no issue there, but I don't know what the repercussions would be if they found something concerning. Hopefully it'll be a non-issue!

@thepicklemonster: Not yet, but I've been itching to buy a few things lately. I've held back since I'm a FTM and have no real bump yet, so I'm just not sure what I'll need/want? I'm most worried about work clothes and finding things that are suitable for the office that won't break the bank. Maybe I'll start browsing this weekend...
watermelon / 14467 posts
@thepicklemonster: I haven't been. This is most likely my last pregnancy and I don't want to buy a ton of clothes that I will only wear for a few months. I've bought a couple of things but I'm going to try to make it through with what I have (plus a couple more dresses/skirts because it is HOT here already).

New symptoms: insomnia (ugh), lower back and round ligament pain
Old symptoms: still a wacky appetite, but overall doing much better
Pregnancy related funny: Royally messed up our schedule by completely confusing/swapping two weeks of items/appts. It all worked out okay in the end...but it was some major pregnancy brain! Funny in retrospect
New news: I am finally sharing the news (gradually) at work this week. After this, we're pretty much "public" from here on out.

New symptoms: I feel sort of pain when I get up too abruptly? Not sure if this is RLP or what, but it's new
Old symptoms: my extreme morning hunger and boat have disappeared
Pregnancy related funny: Both our dogs woke up crying/whining at 4 am, one was hurt and the other was just being needy, DH and I were totally grumbling and neither of us wanted to deal with it and at the same time, both of us were suddenly like "OMG this is our future"
New news: I have an OB appointment on 4/26, I think just to check weight and baby's HR, and I hope to schedule anatomy scan before I leave for babymoon in Hawaii on 5/20!

New symptoms: insane dreams this week and lots of aches & pains.
Old symptoms: super tired. all the time.
Pregnancy related funny: i keep forgetting things. went to use a gift voucher at a local salon & forgot to shave my legs (gaaaah) ... almost forgot to pick G up from daycare ... forgetting to feed the pup.
New news: I keep on waiting to feel something, ANYTHING, but nope.
apricot / 344 posts
New symptoms: nothing new. though think I may be feeling some flutters. Can't tell though.
Old symptoms: still hate food. pretty much all food. it's a struggle to just want to eat anything. Starting to get some pressure from my dad and my hubby about eating more, especially protein. Haven't had a headache in a few days, so that's exciting!
Pregnancy related funny: nothing really funny I guess. One of my hubby's coworkers (close friends of ours) saw my recent belly pic on facebook. Asked hubby if I he was positive I was pregnant or if I just ate a big lunch. Was kind of nice considering my MIL can't help but mention how "huge" I've gotten every time she sees me (which is about once a week).
New news: VERY much looking forward to our gender reveal on the 30th! We're insanely busy between now and then so I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to have the house ready for a 50+ person party but I guess it'll just have to work. Enjoying making all the decorations for the party, though I'm sure my time could be spent doing other things. We leave for a week the day after the party, for a wedding, in North Carolina. Will be nice to have a week off work!!

@thepicklemonster: Where are you finding good work clothes? I am having a really difficult time finding things that fit and I like for work, so I've been buying and returning a ton. I think I've found my main 4 dresses now that will get me through the summer. The only benefit of steamy hot Texas is that dresses are a-ok April-November. I ended up spending more than I had planned, but I keep reminding myself that these are going to be my wardrobe through December (I made sure to buy nursing dresses). But I've been buying before I need things because so much of what I'm finding is thin/poor quality and it does seem like my regular clothes fit one day and don't fit the next. I've had good luck at Figure8maternity.com, seraphine.com, and 1 or 2 things from Destination Maternity
