@Dandelion: oh man. I thought maybe you would get the early higher risk testing maybe to find out early. I still can't decide but for now I think we are going to wait and not find out with the option to change our mind.

When the time comes, we'll definitely find out. It will be a surprise whether we find out during the pregnancy or after! I have two close friends who were convinced they were having boys, but had girls, and that took some time for them to adjust to. Both are thrilled with their daughters now, but I think having several months to adjust to the idea was helpful for them! I also have a friend who is TG and currently almost 2 weeks overdue!! I think not knowing the gender would make the wait even worse! I think it's all about your own expectations, though!

@T.H.O.U.: no, my loss had nothing to do with genetics so theres no need for early testing. My insurance doesnt cover the harmony test anyways unless I'm 35 or older.

just curious - did any of you ladies find out the sex during an NT scan by chance? either through the ultrasound (pure luck) or via blood work that was done during the NT?

We are Team Green! I keep a little bit wondering if we should find out, but we're sticking with this so far.

I will admit, while we are TG, I totally tried looking at the NT scan. But even at our 20 week with DD I had no clue what took for lol

@luckypenny: yea. Too late to Poll. Maybe we can have a poll for when people actually start finding out?

So I've got my NT tomorrow. I think I'm going to see if they can take a guess at the gender. I know it won't be 100% accurate but I really think I want a clue this time (meaning we wouldn't confirm later)
Is this a horrible idea?

Can you post the pic after? HBers have a lot of skill at figuring it out!

@T.H.O.U.: yeah why not? They'll probably give it to you with saying no guarantees lol.

I am a Feb EDD, but I found out at 12 weeks via the Harmony test. The blood draw for it was at 10 weeks. I got the results the day after my NT scan.

@T.H.O.U.: I've also seen a few HB posts guess based on the head shape, I think? I don't know, I can never follow how it's done!

@LovelyPlum: are you staying team green? I was happy we did it last time but it did drive me nuts.

@T.H.O.U.: Almost positive we are. I"m trying not to think about it too hard, because I'm pretty sure it will make me crazy! But the surprise at the end sounds so awesome.
