@Revel: when I went in at 11w she said it was too early for a Doppler.

Our appointment was short and sweet. I haven't gained any weight at this point, yay! Babies heart rate was 153 and my blood work came back normal. December 5 is our anatomy scan! Hopefully these next 4 weeks go fast.

@autumnlove: I tried to schedule an elective for today, but no dice. I would love to find out sooner.... But it's only 4 weeks (at least that's what I'm trying to make myself believe. )

@Cupcake: WOW you haven't gained any weight?! How is that possible!! Glad the appointment went well!!

Oh goodness I'm so far behind. I've been laying low since my appointment last Thursday at 10 weeks. My blood work showed a problem with antibodies so they wanted to redo the blood work. On Sunday and Monday my MS got out of control and I couldn't stop throwing up so I had to call my midwife's office. When the nurse returned my call she also told me the lab said there was a problem with the vials so I had to redo my redo blood work. After getting my blood drawn she checked to make sure I didn't need IV fluids and called in a Zofran prescription for me. Finally got the results back today and everything is good. Uh it's been a long week. Hope all you ladies are doing well. I can't believe so many will know the gender so soon. I feel like I still have forever.

We had our appointment last night and we got to hear the heartbeat, and also somehow snuck in an ultrasound! We're measuring pretty much on track to 12W and the heartbeat was around 160! It was pretty amazing. Before I heard the heartbeat (it took her a minute to find) I was pretty positive there was no baby in there. It was such a pleasant surprise!!

Finally coming out to post. I'm usually just a lurker. I hope that everyone is doing well! We are expecting #2 on 5/16. I'm dying to know the gender already, I really don't know how we'll wait 5 more weeks. Anyone else on #2 and showing much sooner than with #1? With #1 I didn't wear maternity clothes until around 17wks. I'm about to pull them out in the next week or so this time, the hair tie isn't cutting it too much longer. Congrats ladies!

@JoJoGirl: I don't have an answer girlfriend! :). I kind of had a belly pre-baby?

@LaurenEC: Welcome! This is my second baby and I started showing at like 6 or 7 weeks! My LO is only 10 months so my body is stretched out.

@Mrs. Lovejoy: All went perfect!!! NT was normal, little bugger was rolling around in there, arching its back, touching its nose - so weird it's all HUMAN now!!!!

@Mrs. Lovejoy: I had JUST eaten at the hospital like 5 minutes beforehand, so she said that's probably why he/she was going nuts!

@mjane: Good tip for next time! I just happened to eat because DH wanted and I'm not in any position to turn down food

This board is so quiet

@autumnlove: we went to my inlaws, ate pizza, and watched the DVD from the ultrasound!! (I may have ate a few handfuls of Halloween candy too ;))

We had our NT scan today. Baby looked happy and healthy with a nasal bone present and good measurements. We got these two shots and then baby went crazy having a dance party--doing flips, shaking arms, generally just being a ham. Seeing that activity and that baby now looks like a baby and not a blob makes this feel more real.
