Yay! Not sure if I am having an ultrasound or not but I'm SO excited!!!

@T.H.O.U.: thanks for doing this! Is it ok for me to cut and paste to update that it's a dating ultrasound?

I had bloodwork yesterday with my regular gyno to confirm pregnancy and measure beta levels. My next draw is Monday, August 12.

I am currently looking for an OB and have two appointments with two different doctors / practices. My regular gyno does not practice obstetrics unfortunately.

I have an appointment on August 23rd at 7 weeks and another one on September 4th at 9 weeks. I may cancel the second one if I really like the first OB though.

ETA: August 27 and Sept 9 will both be include ultrasounds.

@T.H.O.U.: I work in a rural clinic where we don't have the technology, so our ultrasound tech comes from a neighboring city the last Monday and Friday of each month. There will definitely be something to see

@megz06: so exciting!! Our good friends just had identical twin baby girls. I'm so in love with them!

@MrsSpadusa: How far along will you be at your appt? I was slightly less than 5 weeks, so she just checked my cervix and talked to me about my family history.

I wanted them to do one at my last one, but she said nothing would probably coming of it, so I have an appt August 23, which would make me 6 weeks and 5 days at that point, so she is going to check my cervix again and then on the 26th or 30th I will be far enough along where I get an US.

@T.H.O.U.: Can you add me for August 23 for OB #2 and August 26th for ultrasound? Thank you! It's so great to see so many exciting appts coming up for everyone!

they did another trans-vaginal ultrasound today and we saw the gestational sac. last week at my first draw, my gyno wasn't able to see anything so she wanted me to come in for draw #2 today. but since we saw the sac, she was pleased with the progression, so no draw. it was surreal seeing the little jelly bean.

she wants me to come in again next week to see the embryo developing with a heart beat, but that's too many appointments for me! since my gyno doesn't practice obstetrics, my next appointment will be august 23 for the dating ultrasound with a new obgyn.

I just got back from my appointment! It went really well, got some of my questions answered and had a mostly normal exam with the addition of checking my pelvic bones (ouch!) I had the option to do a ultrasound, but since my husband wasn't with me to see it and there would only really be a little dot, I decided to wait. My next appointment will be August 22nd- Ultrasound!!

Okaaaay. So didn't know if I should report here or on the other board, but my appointment went great. Had an ultrasound and got to see the baby and its little heartbeat, and got to hear the heartbeat, which I guess I wan't expecting!!! So that was so so wonderful. HR was 151, which I was told was average, and I'm measuring at 7 weeks, so have a due date of 3/31, but am sticking with you guys anyway. I also gave blood (again) and was a very big girl about it and did well with that too, haha, so we are very happy She said if all is well after the next u/s in September, we can have the go ahead to tell people... but ugh, another month!!
