@bpaig: I'm 17+3 and feeling the same as you. Felt smaller until I took the pic and saw my gut out - and lots of stretchy and tender growing pains. Maybe this is normal for this stage of pregnancy?

hey mamas!
our 2nd NT scan/ anatomy scan/gender reveal is tomorrow! Hubs & i are hoping for a girl...but more so, a happy healthy baby.
positive thoughts would be immensely appreciated!so far, i've been blessed with minimal pregnancy symptoms (only a little nausea and no fatigue) and i'm carrying on the low side. heart rate has been high every visit, in the 160+ range.
any guesses? i'll be sure to post the big reveal tomorrow after our appointment!

We had our anatomy scan today! I can't believe I'm 20 weeks! Even crazier is I'll probably be having these babies in about 3/12 months (figuring early March). They were able to get almost all the anatomy in one u/s, which is apparently unusual with twins since they are cramped up in there. Both babies had no abnormalities and were definitely still boys (even I could tell this time and I suck at distinguishing anything on ultrasounds).
The high-risk dr. also came in and told us that even though we're never really past the risk of them developing twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, that since they are showing absolutely no signs of it right now, he feels like our chances are much better that they will keep growing just like they should. Just thinking about maybe being more out of the woods makes me tear up; it's just such relief to hear good news! We will still be going every two weeks for u/s and watching closely until at least 30 weeks. He said at that point, if they develop TTTS, it would be less risky to just deliver them and have them in NICU for a while then to risk one of the TTTS procedures, which could result in us losing one. All in all, it was such a good report, and I'm just so happy my lil' men are doing well!
So anxious to hear from our @Sylvie_B and @Serendipity about genders! Happy Friday!

@jaguar: I do love see them so often, even if it's always accompanied by a lot of raw nerves! I think I'll do a post towards the end of my pregnancy with the ultrasound pictures so everyone can see how much the babies change all the way through. That's one of my big blessings is that I get to watch all the minute changes as they slowly become more and more human looking!
@blackbird: @sslm: Thanks, ladies! Blackbird, it is crazy that it will be early March, but my due date is April 6 and from what they say it sounds like I won't be allowed to go much, if any, past 36 weeks. I just hope they keep baking until then! So far, so good!

Looks like blue is not only my favorite color.....
We're having a healthy, happy BOY!!! He was so cooperative and everything looks perfect. We even saw him opening and closing his mouth! so crazy and we're over the moon
So much for maternal instinct and fast heart rates!

Watching all the mamas having early labor on the November thread is getting me SO excited for April!
Baby is super active today, little "kick kick kick kick" all afternoon. Makes me want to go get an u/s RIGHT NOW and find out if it's a he/she. Sigh... soon.

@sylvie_b: hey sylvie, it's toastie! i lurk on the april boards sometimes since my due date is late March and the dr. said there's a high possibility it'll be early april! btw i love your xmas cards! we did something similar but instead of the u/s photo, we included the photo of the tiny toms.
