Our little man arrived early this morning at 4:25 am!! Weighed 7lbs, 3ozs and was 20.25" long. I'll have to write about it another time, but I progressed very quickly from contractions to pushing, but then we narrowly avoided having to have a c-section and had a forceps delivery after he just couldn't come out. I have a 3rd degree tear so I'm really sore, but we are all doing great and are totally in love with our baby boy!

Baby Punky has arrived!!! 1/13/14 via c-section at 7:20 pm. Weighing in at a whopping 9 pounds 14 ounces and 22 inches long. She is doing great so far and is the most adorable thing ever. We got home yesterday and I'm recovering well. She had a doctor's appointment today and is in the 100th percentile for height and 99th percentile for weight. I love her to pieces and can't wait to hear about all the rest of the January babies.

Thanks ladies! It was crazy because I was just going in for an appointment on Monday. She was sitting so high and I was having no contractions so I figured nothing would change and they'd send me home to be induced Friday like they originally said. Well my fluid was a little low so they wouldn't let me go home and gave me the option of being induced (while explaining that I have an "unfavorable cervix" so there is a greater than 50% chance of a long labor and c-section anyway) or just having a c-section. So I opted for the c-section and they scheduled it for just 3 hours later. I called my husband, since I had sent him to work, and told him to get to the hospital because we were having a baby. It all just happened so fast.

@Punky: wow, that's a littke crazy that they scheduled it so quickly! My DH would've been freaking out if I called him with that news, lol. Glad it all worked out!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: He was funny about it. He's a teacher so he was kind of panicking that he had to find coverage for his class plus he couldn't really answer his phone so it was a series of texts and emails.

I think in a haze I posted in the wrong thread.
Our beautiful little boy arrived a week ago on 1/13 at 3:46 pm via emergency c section. I was pushing for 3hrs and 30 mins started to develop a fever. And there was little progression , he was stuck with his little head crooked in the canal. I'm checked out of the hospital and my son is still in me NICU for low sugar.
But I'm glad he is here and I can't believe how beautiful he is:

I totally forgot to announce here!!
Natalie Patricia was born 1/14, 7 lb 2 oz, 20.5 inches long
I had a super quick labor - I labored start to finish in 9 hours, with only 3 of them at the hospital. I pushed for 1 hour. And zero meds!
