My baby girl was born around noon today. She is doing great but I am kinda out of it...will update more later!

Benjamin arrived last night, just before midnight, after almost 24 hours on Pitocin for ruptured membranes (probably a "high leak" discovered incidentally after a cervical check). Got an epidural yesterday about 4 hours after a proper amniotomy made my contractions really difficult...and by which point I was feeling exhausted! He weighs 8 lbs 15 oz and so far seems to be taking to breast feeding like a champ. We are so in love!!!

Contractions are still 5-10ish apart here, probably because I've been trying to sleep. I have my 40 week appt today at 1115, but who knows?!

So when I got to the midwife, I was at a 9, so they wheeled me up to labor and delivery! After 4 minutes of pushing, Logan Michael was born at 1:21pm!!!
