@Torchwood: I'm pretty sure I had a BH episode over the weekend too. It worried me for a second because I didn't even think about them this early, but then I read they start sooner in second+ pregnancies.

    @sunset840: Hi, baby!!

I had my appointment today ... everything went well, but they weren't able to find the heartbeat with the Doppler. My midwives aren't worried at all, and since I have a u/s scheduled for tomorrow, they said I should have peace of mind soon. Of course, the only thing in my head is that we heard LO1 at 10.5 weeks, and I'm 12 weeks now ... it's a different pregnancy, different baby, different Doppler, so I'm choosing to stay positive. I'll update after my u/s tomorrow.

@littlejoy: I'm sending lots of positive thoughts your way! At 10.5 weeks the midwife find it via Doppler one day but my ob couldn't the next day (we did an ultrasound and everything is fine). I think it's pretty normal for it to be a little tricky still at that point. I'm glad you're going in tomorrow!

@sojellybean: I'm a day behind you - I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and I feel *literally* the exact same as you! Horray!!

I have my first ultrasound Thursday, so I'm starting to get super anxious - we've been waiting 2.5 years for this appointment! 😬

@littlejoy: good luck today! My midwives said they won't use the doppler until past 12 weeks because it's unreliable, so hoping you are just on the cusp of where it is detectable. Thinking of you and hoping all is well.

Haven't had much to say these last few days but I've been following along. At the risk of jinxing myself, I'm on day 3 of feeling pretty decent most of the day. I'll be 10 weeks friday and that was when I felt mostly better with my first pregnancy, so maybe I'm following that pattern. Still taking diclegis 2x at bedtime but going to try to drop to 1 after an event I have tomorrow.

Getting my NIPT blood draw on Monday so will be eagerly awaiting those results next week!

10w1d, baby is 25% ready! But probably more, since I bet I won't make it to 40w. (watch, I'll go over due now...)

Lethargic and ready for 2nd tri. Feeling chunky, wishing it was more bumpy!

@Mrs. Microscope: It's so weird to think we're 25% through! I hope it's not more. I want to make 40 weeks this time! (I guarantee I'll be taking that back if I do 😄)

@littlejoy: Looking forward to hearing back from you with good news today! And maybe a picture!

Good news!!! The 1st trimester scan went great. Baby has a heartbeat, and everything looks as it should. I'm so, so relieved. My midwives assured me they weren't worried, but many of you know worried are hard to shake.

We also had an awesome tech who obliged when we asked to see the nub. I'll share more here after I tell me BFF (who is on Hellobee). For now it's just for fun, but it was seriously such a great moment to have a guess.

@Torchwood: @Mrs. Microscope: The timing in subsequent pregnancies is the CRAZIEST thing!! It goes so fast.

My appt went great. They moved my due date up a couple days to Aug. 15. The tech gave us a tiny bit of a scare at first when she said, "I THINK there is only one baby..." while still searching intently. It was indeed one, though, so we breathed a sigh of relief. They did the blood draw for the early genetic testing when they did my other blood work, so hopefully we'll get a good report and find out the gender in the next couple of weeks.

Omg the toddler just puked and I almost puked on her. Normally I'm fine with it but I was already a bit nauseated (which I sincerely hope was just from being pregnant). Thank god I have an awesome husband who was nearby and able to jump in.

@Torchwood: ugh, the worst! This week wiping boogers and changing poop diapers has been getting to me. Haven't had to deal with vomit yet, knock on wood!

@Torchwood: oh man! I hope you all feel better. I'm seriously dreading if / when it hits our house bc it is everywhere right now. I always catch it from LO because she's all over me when she's sick.

Happy to hear good reports from littlejoy and Mrs. Blue!
I'm still anxiously awaiting next Friday.

My husband posted my uncropped u/s on Instagram ... there's not really any real problem with my name & bday being on there, right? It's not like he's famous with 100,000 followers.

I had my NT apt and second prenatal apt yesterday and everything looked good. They moved my due date to August 2 which was somewhat exciting. I am starting to feel a bit better and get my appetite back but am going to stay on Diclegis for a bit longer, my doc said that there was no hurry to get off of it. So excited to nearly be in the second tri.

Ugh, I'm dying here. I feel like my morning sickness is getting worse.... I've been trying the small meals, white soda, ginger ale. I'm getting enough sleep. My midwife suggested the Unisom and B6, but I really don't want to do that. I'm not throwing up, just feeling nauseous 24/7. I'll be 11 weeks on Saturday....so I'm thinking it should go away soon, right?!

  26. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@peachykeen: I just had an appt this week, and my next one isn't for 6 weeks when I'm 16 weeks along. So I feel stupid adding my appt to the list since it's sooooo far away!! But it's on 3/6

  27. littlejoy

    pomegranate / 3375 posts

@MrsBrewer: I'm so, so sorry you're feeling so crappy. My nausea went away right at 12 weeks, so my fingers are crossed for you. Of course, I still have food aversions and I gag a lot, but at least it feels better to not have the permanent hangover. Thinking of you!!

@KNS: So happy your appointment went well!!

When do you all consider the 2nd trimester starting? 13.5 weeks? I never know.

  28. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@littlejoy: Thanks!!! I'm soooo hoping that's the case! For my first pregnancy, I barely had any nausea at all, so this is all new territory for me.

FWIW I consider 2nd trimester at the start of 13 weeks truthfully.

  29. peachykeen

    pear / 1648 posts

@littlejoy: I'd like to think 13 weeks but I mostly go with the 14 week theory since the first 2 weeks we're not even pregnant yet.

10 weeks today! Feeling much better all week so I think I may be over the hump, fingers crossed. Anyone doing anything fun this weekend? I have kids stuff on for tomorrow and then brunch with some girlfriends on Sunday. Haven't decided if I will spill the news or not...

@Revel: fun weekend! We have nothing, just dd's swimming class. But I am feeling better in larger blocks, so maybe we will go out to eat?

I'm excited for this week, we are going over to a good friends house to hang out and let the little ones play! it will be my 20 month old DD, and she has a 2 yr old DD, and 1 yr old twins! Babies everywhere!

  33. Revel

    pear / 1563 posts

@Mrs. Microscope: nice! I've been so reluctant to eat out because I haven't wanted to not be able to eat my meal.

@MrsBrewer: sounds fun, a 2 year old and 1 year old twins! I cannot imagine.

  34. MrsBrewer

    coconut / 8854 posts

@Revel: hahahahah.....yeaaaaa... she was quite surprised too....they are 1 year and 1 week apart in age. Needless it say the twins were a bit of a surprise.

I had a good appointment today. My nurse found the baby's heartbeat right away with the Doppler and it was nice and high at 176. I got my blood drawn for the Panorama test and should have those results in a week. My OB referred me to a MFM for the NT scan and that's scheduled for 2/16. Then I go back to my OB in 4 weeks on 2/24. I'm starting to feel like this is real!

Not pregnancy related but too cute not to share. We got LO a baby stroller since she loves the one at Cracker Barrel, and I've literally never seen her this excited about a toy. She tried to put it in the tub at bath time, and successfully put it in the bed at bedtime (and was not happy when I took it back). 😄

We got our nipt results back yesterday! The baby is healthy and it's a girl!!! I'm so excited! I kind of feel guilty how thrilled and relieved I am but I am just so happy it's a girl. I can't wait for matching sister clothes!

    @Mrs. Pickle: awesome news!!!

@Torchwood: that is adorable. My daughter never really took to her doll stroller too much.

@Cole: this will be me if we are having a girl, but keeping it kind of under wraps because I know my husband would love a boy. I have my draw on Monday.

@Mrs. Pickle: Glad you had such a great appointment! And reassuring that you haven't been exposed to Zika

@Cole: So glad to hear your results were good and that you're having a GIRL!!

We get our results Tuesday morning and I'm already kind of nervous. Not that I think anything is wrong but we didn't do any testing with DD so it seems so crazy too get so much info before we've even really seen a detailed ultrasound. Also hoping for another girl but I've been trying to get excited about the concept of a boy too, just in case.
