D is still sleeping in our room. She takes 3 - 4 naps. The long afternoon nap is in her PNP. My guess is we will move her to her room around 6 months. She will be 5 months soon! Agh! We just scheduled a trip to Disney this july. We are going to disney twice this year. :).

@BandDmommy: Logan still sleeps in our room too and I'm thinking the same - move him to his when he's around 6 months. Was D affected by the 4 month regression at all? So jealous you're going to Disney! I can't wait to take the kids once they are older!!

G is still in our room too! She loves her pnp
Currently packing up the baby and all her stuff to head to my mom's for a few days! Pray for us

E was the noisiest sleeper ever, so we moved her down to her room & crib at 7 weeks. She naps & sleeps there, unless we are out and about (carseat) or have guests (bassinet in our bedroom). I think we had a regression for nighttime sleep when she broke out of the newborn sleepiness at 3 months, but we have avoided much of a 4 month regression so far (she is 4.5 months...). Still waking up 1-2x a night to eat, but she naps well (usually 3 naps with a 2hr one mid-day) and puts herself down, so I can't complain!

@adira: we had our first round of baby coughs in the middle of the night last night, and i thought of you! i don't know how you have done it!!

@faithfertility: sometimes they'll surprise you with how well they do with new routines!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@KayKay: Oh no!! I hope the coughing wasn't too bad! Luckily, I think Logan's starting to feel better - he slept through the night last night (9:00 p.m. to 5:15) without coughing!

@Adira: Bah poor Logan!! But awesome he STTN!!
@FaithFertility: Good luck!!
Had our 4 mo check up today. 16 lbs 9 oz, and 26.5 in tall. Long boy!
He's also getting really pissed during tummy time these days because he is reaaaally trying to army crawl and isn't quite there yet. Ha.

@theotherstark: Big boy! We just got done with check up too and K is 13 lbs 13 oz, 24" long.
I quickly read through the last few pages but don't have time to respond b/c I already came into work 2 hrs late due to her appt! I don't NEED to be there since daddy has her today but I wanted to be!
I posted on FB that K has been having diarrhea for like 4-5 days now... I'm sure it's diarrhea b/c it was a very sudden change from pooping every 2-3 days. Plus it wasn't just after eating, it was random as well. We've been up for longer at night having to change her and all. She is in good spirits though! Just hope it passes!
Dr said she is doing great and we can sleep train if we want. I'm now procrastinating and waiting till her diarrhea goes away first
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@theotherstark: Awesome check-up! I'm excited to see Logan's stats on Friday!
@snowjewelz: Diarrhea sucks - wonder if she has a stomach bug or something. Poor baby!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: Yeah dr said sometimes bacteria just gets into the intestines. Makes sense since she puts both her hands, AND whatever she can grab into her mouth lately! She actually doesn't seem that affected by it, but I just have to keep an eye out for fever/dehydration.

@theotherstark: That's great! He's like the size of my first at 10 months lol
@snowjewelz: Ick! Hope it resolves soon!

How long is everyone who is Bf planninh on BF? I'm coming close to my goal of 6 months.. I'm thinking about stopping around 8 months, since she will be on solids. And I don't do well with teeth and BFing.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
My supply hasn't been great lately so I'm just really hoping we make it to 6 mo! After that we shall see. I want to say keep going for as long as I can since that's one more day I don't have to buy formula (tho I do have tons of samples that don't expire for a while), but at the same time I hate pumping!!

@KayKay: I hope the coughing was just a one night thing!
@Adira: Glad Logan is feeling better (and sleeping great)!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@theotherstark: They're getting so big!
@snowjewelz: Sorry she's still having diarrhea but I'm glad that your Dr didn't think it was a huge deal. Poor thing Is it giving her a rash at all?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@BandDmommy: I nursed Xander for 14.5 months (though I stopped pumping at one year), so I plan to continue for a year with Logan, assuming all goes smoothly!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsF: yeah... i had been vigilant during diaper changes so thankfully it's gone down. Def an annoying side effect since she never had diaper rash before!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@BandDmommy: I'm still aiming for a year. I've never BF this long though (only made it about 2 months with M) so I don't really know what challenges are to come. J has been killing my nipples the past few days. I think it's because he's teething - so I can't imagine if he had actual teeth!
I really hope to make it a year, but it's nice to know that I already have one happy, healthy child who was primarily FF. Takes a bit of the pressure off.

@snowjewelz: It's hard to avoid a rash when they're having diarrhea. I hope she's feeling better soon!

We moved Ryan to his own room at 8w since he's the noisiest sleeper and I just couldn't sleep. He's still swaddled in rock n play so need to move him to crib and swaddle wean. He will be 4m on Thursday.
Breastfeeding hope to get to 6m. I'm off and on about going further. It's pretty easy but I'm not a warm and fuzzy breast feeder. It's convenient and free and there are health benefits. But I can't stand the dairy free diet and it's a little overwhelming to be the only food source. Hope that doesn't sound callous!
pomelo / 5660 posts
@winniebee: I am the same way. It's hard being the only source of food. Plus, she is already rough on my nipples with distracted nursing. And selfishly, I'm tired of wearing a nursing tank every single day.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@winniebee: Not callous at all! It's so hard being the only food source, especially with the crazy diet.
I definitely believe that babies need happy moms more than they need breast milk.
pear / 1961 posts
@winniebee: no cheese and no ice cream would've quickly ended my breastfeeding experience. definitely not callous, i'm impressed you've made it as long as you have!
i went about 13 months with K, and then she still had frozen bm up through about 15 months. it was funny because i was really sad to wean (we thought we were going to TTC but ended up waiting a little longer), but was quickly very happy to have my body back. i'll likely go the full year with E, and then figure it out after that. honestly, with me SAH, DH often working late, and no family close by, it would generally be me feeding E no matter what...and boob is way easier than bottle for me!
@banddmommy: totally over the nursing tanks. but i did get compression ones, so at least they hold my belly in a bit?
@mrsf: K bit me once when she first got her first couple of teeth at ~5 months, but never did it again! hoping for a similar experience (or, you know, no biting at all...)
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MrsF: @KayKay: I think I will try dairy again around 6 months to see what happens. Maybe if I can eat pizza again I will go the full year. :).
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: you go mama! and I hope you can have the pizza in 2 months! I just wrote a post about supplement too b/c I don't have the time/energy to spend trying to squeeze out an extra 1-2 oz when I'm short... And lately I have been!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Not sure if you're interested in this, but we just tried the American Flatbread's Vegan Pizza (was in the frozen section of my supermarket) and it was actually really good!
ETA: It was this one: http://www.americanflatbreadproducts.com/vegan-harvest/

@theotherstark: awww great apt, G does that too...lol she will face plant and then trash arms and legs
@BandDmommy: I'm trying for 6 months but if she will EVER take a bottle........

@snowjewelz: Hope K is getting better for you! That is stinky!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@theotherstark: He's pretty close in size to Ethan! Its funny, my family comments every time they see him that he's getting 'fatter'. Love my chunky baby.
@BandDmommy: No set time here, just as long as I can make it, I don't plan on going over a year though. I think 9 months is my goal.
@winniebee: Its amazing you've been doing the dairy-free thing this long, I don't think I could do it!
@snowjewelz: I've been short lately too by 1 or 2 ounces a day. I'm jealous of those moms who have an oversupply! I'd love to have a HUGE stash in the freezer.
I selfishly want to keep breast feeding so I can keep my boobs! lol. I'm barely a 34A normally so I'm loving them!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: stinky is right, lol! hope you're doing ok at moms!
@josina: apparently a lot of moms get hit with the short supply at the 4 mo mark (or so I read on my other thread about supplementing!) so we are def not alone! I hoard that freezer stash like crazy... I rather supplement w/ a lil formula than to cut into that stash lol! I prob only have enough for like... A week max...
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: I hate that! I feel like our bodies should be making more as they grow, so why are we making less! I think I have enough for 9 days if he drank what he drinks now. So If I kept at it for 9 months I would only get an extra 4-5 weeks of pure bm. Boo.

Anyone's baby still hate tummy time?? I feel like Ryan will never roll belly to back Bc he never spends time on his belly! Spit up everywhere everything. He is really close to going back to belly though!

I would love to bf for a year. So far we're going good, but a year is still so far away. Like everyone else is saying I pretty much hate pumping, but at least I still have a pretty good freezer stash.
