I have about 20ozs of extra milk everyday, so if it stays the same, my goal is to EP until 9 months ( 1/2 way there!). My stash should take me to the year mark (1600ozs in the freezer so far)
@winniebee: M likes being on his back so he can scoot round in circles. He's rolled belly to back twice so far. He gets stuck trying back to belly though.

@AngelicOne: 20 extra per day?!?? I'd be happy if that's all I made in a day. If that's what's extra how much are you making total?

@winniebee: I've been allowing myself a little dairy here and there in the past few days. Not milk or cheese, but I've been a little more lenient with the baked goods and some milk chocolate. So far so good! I hope things go well for you when you're ready to experiment.

@Adira: Thanks for the pizza recommendation! I had forgotten that you deal with this with Xander's allergy.

@winniebee: J is neutral about tummy time for about 30 seconds and after that I'm working hard to keep him happy for a minute or so. He rolled belly to back twice in a row about 2 weeks ago and never did it again.
He came surprisingly close to rolling back to belly to belly today considering that he hates being on his belly! He had his legs / hips flipped over but hadn't figured out how to get his top half there

@AngelicOne: That's amazing!! I make about 8 ounces extra a day and I'm thrilled with that. That would be great if you could make it the last 3 months without pumping!

@josina: I guess we will just take it one day at a time! I started up drinking the mothers milk tea again... Contemplating if I wants try fenugreek and milk thistle capsules...

@AngelicOne: that is amazing! I'm happy if I even get 2 is extra lol! Nice stash you have!!

K is neutral about tummy time too. Sometimes she is happy there for like 5 min, sometimes she gets mad after 1. Sometimes she wants nothing to do with any sort of rolling, other days she activies tries, and once or twice she actually rolls.
Currently she is way more interestes in sitting up and reaching and grabbing anything she can (she dug her hand into my rice today lol)

@winniebee: YES! We put on a three ring circus to get her to stay for longer than a minute
My mom's is ok, just not easy.....but I'm lucky we have a home to stay at

@Miss Ariel: Lowest has been 46 ozs & highest was 54 ozs (50 is average ) & he eats about 30 ozs a day. (I'm doing 1 thawed bottle of milk a day to rotate through my stash)
nectarine / 2210 posts
@AngelicOne: that's amazing! K only eats 16 ounces, although I nurse her two times a day on top of that. I normally get just about 16, but try to pump a little on the weekend to add back to my stash.

@snowjewelz: I haven't tried anything other than oatmeal so far. Have you noticed a difference?
@AngelicOne: Wow! I pump 13-15 oz / day at work, and if Ethan nurses early enough than I can freeze 5 oz before work, so I get 1 bag/day in the freezer. Jealous.

@winniebee: Logan hates tummy time! He tolerates it for all of 5 seconds before he starts crying. He's never going to roll. Xander was the same way though.
@AngelicOne: An extra 20 oz a day is amazing!!!
I'm bringing Logan to the pediatrician today for his ear. Can't wait to see how much he weighs!

@Adira: Hope appt goes well!
D doesn't mind tummy time. I think it helps B loves doing tummy time with her.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@BandDmommy: Xander LOVES doing tummy time with Logan! And whenever Logan is up, Xander wants him to do tummy time so they can do it together. But Logan's not a fan, haha.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@josina: one bag a day is great! I usually only freeze 1 days worth on Fri plus 1 extra only! I think oatmeal helps but I haven't eaten it consistently enough
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: @Adira: haha so somehow the older sibling ends up liking tummy time more?!

Well I guess 4 mo shots helped K sleep better! Going down was still a struggle.. But she almoooost went 6 hrs and then almost 5. But we were still up for like 49 min BC of the diarrhea diaper change! And she decides to diarrhea more mid-change and was totally awake lol!

@FaithFertility: Thankfully she is! She always just sleeps a lot after shots. DH said she took like a 3 hr nap yesterday (on him tho).

Just a short vent (ok prob not short lol) -
So K goes to my SIL's two mornings a week. Her two kids are there, with MIL, and a nanny. They wanted K to go there so she can spend time with that set of grandparents & cousins. But almost every time we bring her, FIL is late, and their dog is barking, one of the kids are crying, and it's chaos, and K really needs to nap and ends up crying & crying b/c of the chaos. DH every time tells them in detail what she needs, when, how to put her to sleep, etc but they don't seem to listen. So every time K comes home overtired and cranky. But DH still doesn't want to send her to daycare yet, so now I'm searching for a part-time nanny to come to our house so K can be in a stable environment at least. I'm just so weary of leaving a stranger with my baby in our house! In my mind being at daycare is easier, but I do get that she might be better off in a familiar environment also... End rant!

@winniebee: e doesn't mind tummy-time these days, but i made a concerted effort around 3 months to start doing it more, even if it was only 10s increments. i think she does get bored doing it, though, and would rather be on her back playing with her feet or toys, so we still don't do it for longer than 5-10 minutes at a time. i've started reading her books while she does it. she also clearly prefers to do it in her bedroom on the carpet, even though i put down mats or blankets upstairs on the hardwood. i have no idea why.
@angelicone: that's awesome! did you create the over-supply or just have it and roll with it?
pear / 1961 posts
@snowjewelz: a daycare may not be much better. K went full-time and napped terribly there because there was just always something stimulating (other people, other babies, people coming in-and-out throughout the day, etc). i always told them that she napped at 9a at home, but she never did there because there was just too much commotion. eventually she got used to it and did fine, although never napped well until she dropped down to one.

@KayKay: yeah that's why I'm looking for a nanny to tie us over till summer & beyond when she's older and sleep trained!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: Xander just likes doing anything the baby is doing. The other day, Logan was babbling up a storm, and Xander started babbling with him, haha.
Bummer about your in-laws! Though daycare definitely won't be much better. Logan naps like crap at daycare and is always overtired when he gets home.

Logan has double ear infections AGAIN! He also has eczema, which I knew, but now I have prescription ointment for him. Wheeee! He's reminding me more and more of his brother!
Weight: 15 lbs 6.8 oz
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: hahaha like even if I can say real words, I prefer to babble like my lil bro. So cute!!
Omg! DOUBLE infection?! What is going on with him!!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: Gahh, I have no idea. I wonder if he's going to end up needing tubes.

Micah rolled tummy to back last night for daddy! Of course he wouldn't do it again for mommy though!
@Adira: oh no! poor baby! Micah has eczema too but he pretty much only breaks out if we use any kind of wash/shampoo with fragrance in it.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: She asked about Xander and whether he had a lot of ear infections and needed tubes. But other than that, she didn't say much, except to note that he JUST got over his last ear infection, so she prescribed him something different this time.

@whenoceansrise: it's ok I feel you! My mom has all these videos of her laughing and I've only gotten her to really laugh once... I usually just get a chuckle... Am I not funny?!

@Adira: Hope the new meds will be effective and I hope he's not too bothered by it!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@Adira: aww, poor guy! Hope he's better soon and done with it for summer!
@whenoceansrise: Ethan rolled over twice without either of us seeing before I got him to do it for me, so he's rolled over just three times now, dad hasn't got to see.
