@MamaG: we have a huge family room that we play in by our sectional, she has a mat and I bring out a few toys here and there same with her room!
Toys are stored in hallway linen closet
We need to gate off a section of family room to keep her contained during cooking/cleaning!

Love all of these playrooms/play areas!! I will live vicariously through you all We are still in our one bedroom, so I have a big bin of toys that lives in our closet. I bring some out each day for him to play with. He's sometimes interested, but mainly he loves exploring and getting into everything. His walker toy thingy lives out in the living room, too, and we have a bunch of books there for him. He actually loves the dogs toys more than his own

@winniebee: @Adira: @josina: H is obsessed with the train table at B&N when we go there for story time. I'm thinking we might need to get one in the future!

M has a big wicker basket full of toys in the living room and we just set up his baby jail in our spare room/DH's office as somewhere else to contain him. Otherwise, he likes the dogs toys and the door to the cats crate.
I'd love to have a big playroom for all of his stuff!

How is it October?!?!?
I feel like time is flying!!!
G got her first battle wound last night, tried to let go and walk from couch to activity cube! Activity cube won and she has a bruise on her cheek!

@FaithFertility: aww, poor girl. E I don't think has tried to walk without holding onto something yet.
I don't think i mentioned it but E's worst battle wound was from a pumpkin! He was leaning over to touch it (while holding onto me with 1 hand) and slipped and just barely caught the stem on his cheek, scratched it pretty good/bled a bit/ and super red. This was the day before pictures, of course. Did not realize the stems were so prickly, beware!

@FaithFertility: Ouch
@josina: Yes, surprisingly sharp edges
Darcy ate dog food for the first time. We all lost track of her and looked over and see dog food smeared on her face. Gahh.. luckily the stuff we feed the dog is organic and pretty much human food. It was chicken noodle and apparently she liked it.

@FaithFertility: My friend's 2nd youngest slept in the dog bed twice when they were over at night and she got tired... lol. Sorry about the wound! I feel like there are many more to come! Tho K seems to be a very active/curious, but cautious baby, she like woulds squat down slowly when she wants to get down to crawl
@theotherstark: I can't believe H took a few steps!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: Hahahaha! I'd be okay too if K ever ate the dog food... But my dog devours her food so I don't think K will ever even see it long enough to take some

@snowjewelz: Our dog is a snob. You put food in his bowl and he looks at you like "seriously, you think I'll eat that."
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: Hahaha. He is probably like yes little human, you go ahead and eat that food for me and give me yours!

It's OCTOBER! I'm so ready for fall y'all. I never really felt like it was my favorite season, but after all the darn heat, I'm ready for some relief.
Football. Halloween. Pumpkin patch. Thanksgiving. Christmas. And cooler weather. Yippee!
I really miss the apple orchards of the northeast. That's one thing we can't really do here and I miss it.
