@FaithFertility: sorry about your grandma.
We will head to urgent care when they open this morning. Last night was miserable. I suspect Ks cold has grown into an ear infection and pink eye. I'm tired!

@MamaG: ugh. I'm so sorry
I think M might be developing pink eye as well and I know that often goes along with an ear infection. Yuck.

Confirmed, ear infection and viral pinkeye. I'm kicking myself for not taking her earlier. We are ear infection novices. I thought they come with fevers. she's had eye drainage since Wednesday.

Thanks Ladies! It is always not fun, but she definitely lived a great life and passed with no pain! Many do not get that blessing so we are thankful!

Ugh - so many sickies!
E had some crummy sleep last week, but I realized today that a tooth (#7) popped through, and she has mostly been back to normal. Must've been that. If she would let me look in her mouth for more than 0.2s, I may have seen the bubble and given her some Tylenol. Her loss!
Transition to 1 nap is going pretty well, and the 3+ hr afternoon nap is glorious!

@FaithFertility: so sorry for your loss
And sorry for all the sick babes. Man it's only October!
So I've been MIA. Between the sewage / tampon post which pissed me off..and just busy! We are buying a new home! So exited. It's in a great neighborhood, great kitchen, and has a gunite pool and lovely yard. Hope it works out!

@KayKay: wow that's great! R seems to be shortening to an hour nap in the morning so I'm hoping he will be ready at 12-13m. He's solidly on 2 but they vary. Morning us typically 1:20 and afternoon 1:30 but sometimes morning is an hour and afternoon 2+. And of course some days they are both 40 mins. No real rhyme or reason!
pomelo / 5660 posts
@KayKay: I was wondering when that would happen. If she drops her first nap then she will have to start daycare sooner.
Dave has a big work deal so he's not going to be around so I'm trying to find someone to help me with the kids at night.

K's naps are still all over the place, but I think part of that is because she normally takes naps on the way two or from daycare. Once she's there a good nap for her is about an hour, and that's pretty much it!

@winniebee: so exciting! Hopefully the search for a house goes quick! We're talking about looking for new houses in the summer and I can't wait to start looking!

@Miss Ariel: thx! We have been looking for a year so it's time to pull the trigger. They've accepted our offer and if all goes well we would close dec 15!
@BandDmommy: thx!

@winniebee: then you'll get to be there just in time for the holidays!

@MamaG: eek!! So sorry; hope she's better soon.
@KayKay: 1 nap! H is still solidly with two naps, I think. No idea when he will switch to 1!
@winniebee: yay!! That is so exciting. I'll keep my fingers crossed!!

@winniebee: a new house! Awesome.
@KayKay: we are one nap too. It just works well for both kids.
@BandDmommy: sorry. I couldn't imagine solo evenings. Maybe in a year. But not now.

@winniebee: So exciting! Congrats!!!!
@KayKay: Wow 1 3hr nap nice!!!!!!!!
G last week skipped her mornjng nap all week at her sitters her afternoon naps were 2-2.5 hrs but up by 1:40-2
But..... this weekend she did her normal 2 naps no issues so that solidified me to ask her sitter to please try HARD to get her that morning nap!
She does so much better still with the 2!

@banddmommy: i do evening routine solo quite often. not much fun! and can't imagine it being pregnant too! the kids would probably be in bed by 6p
@winniebee: a house! hooray!
E would be fine sticking with 2 naps, i think. But she goes to childcare 2 mornings a week (9a-12p at the community center) and we have music class on another morning. she hasn't really been napping in the morning on those days (maybe a quick catnap in the car here or there), so i am not pushing it at home, either. if she is clearly tired and cranky, i put her down, but otherwise we just power through. so we're certainly in the transition...maybe 70-30 no nap/nap right now.

@MamaG: Bummer Glad you took her in today! M's eyes are extra watery but not really crusty. She told me her ear hurt yesterday but also told me that her foot hurt and her hand, so - no clue!
@KayKay: I just felt another tooth in J's mouth (#9!) but it's SO hard to get in there! Just like you - I wish I had known it was on its way up!

@winniebee: I hope your house works out! That sounds amazing!
And I don't think I read the entire pipes / tampon post but FWIW I've been flushing tampons my entire life until we bought a house with a new septic. People were getting pretty enthusiastic about such a random topic!

@MamaG: Poor girl, sorry about the ear infection + pink eye. Ethan has only had a fever once with his 5 ear infections and that one was because he had a couple other viruses as well.
It def. makes it hard to tell with the babies!
@winniebee: Congrats on the new house, how exciting!
We are still taking 2 naps usually, shorter in the am, longer in the afternoon.
Last night I put E to bed awake and he DIDNT CRY at all, I was amazed, lol. Normally if he's awake its 5 minutes of tears before he falls asleep. Big boy is getting night-time figured out.

I finally got D's invitations out yesterday. I'm so behind with this party. I need to still order the rest of the decorations and go to the party store today.

@josina: That's great! Ryan has no issues falling asleep on his own....it's the 3 am "hi mom" time that he needs to work on : )
@FaithFertility: those suck!
@BandDmommy: invites are super cute!

@FaithFertility: Scary! I hate those dreams that feel so real and you wake up like thank God it wasn't!
@BandDmommy: Yay for invites being done! One thing at a time right? I have mine designed and digitally sent, I'm not sure if I'll even print/send any since it's immediate family only. (Other than one for E's book)
@winniebee: ha ha. Poor E last night woke me up at 1 but he had his foot stuck outside the crib!

@FaithFertility: So scary Those kind of dreams are the worst.
@BandDmommy: I loved your invite on IG - so cute!

Was home sick yesterday with a killer migraine!
So sorry for all the super sick kiddo's. This cold/flu season is no joke. I almost want to pull K out of daycare b/c I feel like it's going to be any day that she gets sick again
K is on 2 naps for sure, one nap is always longer than the other, but it works out to make sure she never naps too late into the day. She doesn't nap well at daycare but she does not skip it either.
I'm really just loving her at this stage. She is SO sweet to me and it completely melts my heart. I feel like now she KNOWS what a bond we have and we just have this connection with each other I wish I can freeze this time, put it in a jar, and go back to revisit as often as I'd like!
