@Adira: from everything I've heard from other moms, I think a lot of the kiddos in this group walked fairly early. Haha. It sounds like he is doing great

@snowjewelz: Me too, G kisses me now and I make her do it 100 times a day....lol

@MrsF: @Adira: Awww! Can't wait! Right now he gives the best hugs and it's sooo adorable!

@Adira: WTG Logan, I'm sure you are thankful @Adira:.
How are the older kids doing with jealousy? We seem to be really struggling with it these days. C has been actually voicing that she wants mommy time. I try to give it to her daily and we do get 1:1 time in the morning and again at bedtime daily.

@MamaG: We had a major jealousy problem when Ryan started crawling at 8 months. It seems ok now...but I'm sure will be at its peak when Ryan has his birthday in a few weeks and gets a bunch of gifts!

Ryan isn't walking yet either...he takes some stutter / lunge steps towards me (and seems extremely proud of that!) He crawled at 8 months and pulled up to stand soon after and has been cruising a few months. I'm guessing he will walk after 1 like his brother did. Though, Tyler never took any steps...he just started walking at 14 months.
Baby has another cold...hadn't even gotten over the last one...ugh!

@winniebee: Haha that's crazy! So just no wobbly practice steps, just crawling, and then one day just woke up and walked?!
My back has been killlling me lately. Makes me think I'm pregnant, hahaha. But I think it's just from holding this now super heavy baby.

@MamaG: Xander doesn't seem jealous, though he gets a lot of attention, but he does get very frustrated when Logan gets all in his business. Like he'll build something with blocks and Logan will just scoot over and knock it down. Or take a toy that Xander's NOT playing with, but wants, or whatever. We've been dealing with a lot of emotional outbursts lately...
@winniebee: We've had back to back colds for the past couple weeks. And I've gotten them all too, so I'll start to feel better and then the next day I'm sick again. It sucks! Winter blows.

@MamaG: not jealousy but B gets sad when D "plays incorrectly with toys." He yells "no, no Darc Darc, you play with it this way."

@Adira: My SIL's oldest is the same way! He's close to 3 and throws a fit if his sister which is K's age messes with his trains and toys.

@Adira: Yay for sleeping through the night!
E did too... but OMG would not go to bed last night. He actually fell asleep nursing at 8:30 but I kept him in my arms till 9 and then wide awake when I tried laying him down. Could not get him back to sleep till almost 11. Ugh.
@winniebee: Sorry about the back to back colds... we dealt with that for so long I'm amazed E's gone as long as he has without one.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@snowjewelz: Yes...he's a pretty calculating child. He never would jump off the couch or a table if he didn't think you would catch him. He just waited until he knew he could do it without falling and started walking. It was great because he literally didn't fall once.

Quick ? Girls, I'd post a thread but honestly only want your opinions....lol
I just found out a few of my sisters friends are throwing her a bachlorette party this weekend over night about an hr away!
She asked me if I wanted to go!
She actually just found out too?!? Weird!
I am conflicted, as I am nor prepared myself to leave G overnight granted it would be with DH I am a little ticked I just found out, but it is my sister?!?
WWYD?!

@FaithFertility: hmmm I don't have a sister but i am not sure if I'd be ready to leave over night yet. Especially on such short notice with no time to prepare myself! Maybe if I had a sister and really wanted to be there I would go anyway? Your call! Whatever you choose I'm sure your sister would understand!
nectarine / 2210 posts
@FaithFertility: I would go. We've only left K overnight once for a garth brooks concert. I know if I hadn't gone I likely would have regretted it since who knows when he's be touring again.
nectarine / 2053 posts
@BandDmommy: haha! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't forgetting!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@whenoceansrise: I feel the exact same way I am not ready at all?!?? But then again will I ever be?!?!?
Ughhhh
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@FaithFertility: I would go. G is almost 1 and you're leaving her with your husband AND she STTN. I left Ty several times overnight before age 1 for various reasons and left R once too.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@BandDmommy: @winniebee: Yeah the more I think the more I know I just NEED to go!!
Even if she wakes she isn't a newborn that needs to feed, time to rip off the band aid....lol
honeydew / 7283 posts
@MamaG: @winniebee: We had huge issues with jealousy when J first started crawling. M has actually been doing better the past few weeks though - thank goodness! I think it ebbs and flows as they each go through stages.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: Go and have a blast! She and your DH will be fine and you're right, you'll probably never feel ready.
pomelo / 5298 posts
@FaithFertility: The only time I've spent away from my girls, I was with my DH and they were with my sister. I vote go. That being said, as a FTM I never left C. I wouldn't say it was my best decision.

So of course as I make the descion to go I woke today 102 fever and can barley swallow
Took today off to sleep and run to walk in as I am pretty sure it is strep, I always get it when I get sick!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: I would go; it's your sister! I don't think I'll really ever be ready or want to leave DD, but I think this is worth it, and DH can do it! Go have fun!
Oh no, I just saw your update. Hope you are okay! This fever really came in bad timing!!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: Awful! I'm hoping a day to just sleep and some meds will be good!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: If it's strep it's almost better since you can get antibiotics?? When is everyone leaving for the party?
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: I have no idea..lol her friends are Young, single so everything seems like on a whim...lol
Tomorrow at some point!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: haha oh man! well rest up and i hope you're still up for it tomorrow since you decided to go!
