@Adira: maybe it's his teeth? R was awake at 1:45 last night....and I fed him one side...and he was still wide awake....I offered the other side....and he just lazy sucked and stared at me. So I was like, yep we are done....back in crib, monitor off!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Yeah, I do think he's teething, so maybe that's it. It's just so hard to determine if I should feed him or not!!!

K is ONE! Her photos are tomorrow and cake on Saturday. Holy moly where did the year go?

@AngelicOne: Hope he's feeling better today!
@MamaG: Happy birthday K! Can't wait to see her pics!
I think I have anxiety about E turning 1 already (next Thursday!!) Where has the time gone? This age is sooo much fun with him!

@mamag: happy birthday!
E is officially walking all over the place. Snuck it in just before she turns 1 on Sunday
Put E to bed last night like normal. She started making some noise (talking to herself, not crying) around 10p and did it off and on until 11:30p. I finally went down there to see what was up, and she was burning up! Fever of 102. Dosed her some Tylenol, nursed, and she slept through til this morning. Still a little fever today, but otherwise is super happy and fine. Weird.

@josina: Glad someone else said it...lol
I have MAJOR anxiety about it..not ready!!!!!!

@josina: IMO it just gets better and better....wait until he's chattering up a storm and has OPINIONS that he can share. It's awesome. Tiring, but awesome : )
@MamaG: Happy birthday little lady!

@winniebee: Good to hear, I'm loving this stage...minus the teething crap!!!!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Yes! Once they start talking, it gets soooooo fun! Xander says the funniest things now.
So I think my kid is behind the curve, but he's pulling up to stand now... No cruising or walking yet.

@MamaG: It's crazy to see how small they were!
@KayKay: Acck! Hope she is ok!
@Adira: Has the doctor said anything?

@Adira: G isn't walking yet, she is close but she also rarley stands unassited, she "can" but seems to prefer not to....lol

I just want to quickly say how I feel like I am a better mom because of this board! I've learned so much from chatting and listening to other stories!!!
1 year later crazy...........
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: No, but we haven't seen them since September. His one year is on December 18th. But he's crawling around now (scooting really) and can pull to stand, so I don't think he's actually behind - just behind all the other babies in this group!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: I wouldn't worry then! I just never want to say like "oh it's nothing!" b/c I think the parent always has a better gut instinct than a random person miles away! I also think we can def get caught up in reaching milestones sometimes!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: I don't know what I would do without HB. I have friends ask me too like how do you know all this? I'm like... Internet! Hahaha.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: I think it's easier for me this time because I've been through it with Xander and he was slow to do these physical milestones too. He didn't start walking until 14.5 months, so Logan's not behind in my book yet (if he hits 15 months without walking though, I'll start getting nervous, haha).
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: Oh my friend's baby didn't walk till 15 months! I think sometimes they are lazy too haha. She COULD walk, she just didn't want to, lol!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: haha, I think Logan was lazy for a while - he could roll, he just never did and always wanted us to pick him up. But now he seems interested in trying to stand and he LOVES scooting (he'll just go in circles in the kitchen, haha).
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: haha that is so cuteee! Kara will take like 5 steps, but then she will wobble and fall, and then she'll just give up and crawl

@josina: Matthew is feeling much better today....DH not so much Can't believe our babies will be 1 a week from tomorrow!!
@MamaG: Happy bday lil one!
@Adira: M isn't walking yet either. He's doing great about pulling up on any & everything though.
So we had to change our flight to tomorrow so DH can try to kick this nasty bug.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@AngelicOne: Sorry to hear your DH is sick! Hope the rest of you don't catch it!
pear / 1961 posts
@adira: isn't it easier with the second one? K walked at 10.5m, but I wouldn't have worried a smidge about E until at least 15m. I've had lots of friends kids not walk until then, actually.
persimmon / 1050 posts
@Adira: Matthew had it first starting yesterday at 3am, but he's back to normal now. DH started feeling really bad last night, so now I'm trying not to catch it. It's a 24 hr bug so hopefully he's feeling better by tonight.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Adira: I totally worry less this time. M didn't walk until 15 or 16 months and J cruises a bit but isn't interested in walking. Meh.

@josina: I absolutely agree with others that it only gets more fun in the coming year. Seeing their little personalities come out as they can express themselves better is amazing. Wait until he tells you he loves you!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: @josina: JES! The first time their little voice says "I love you" your heart just EXPLODES! I can't wait for Logan to get there!
pomelo / 5298 posts
@josina: I agree with the rest. It just keeps getting better. Communication is awesome. Even at four with back talk like a teenager, C still cracks me up about half the time she says something.
