@MamaG: Hugs! I can't commiserate since I only have 1!
@BandDmommy: Safe travels! We had snow/ice this morning and I was sooo glad that daycare is close, 5 min. to daycare, 40 minutes to work. Yuck.
@snowjewelz: That is so awesome that she sleeps so well and you didn't have to sleep train! Hoping E figures that out soon too!

@josina: Of course now I'm happy, but the road to get here was hard, lol! I had no idea when we were waiting till she STTN! But I also have no idea when she'll be in our bed till...

@snowjewelz: awesome! G is like that 80% so I just get thrown when she will do 1 MOTN wake for a few days?! Then will STTN for days/weeks
She has no schedule
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: I wouldn't sweat it! I always figure if she wakes up, something is/was bothering her. I figure if I still wake up MOTN myself, why shouldn't she? Haha!

@snowjewelz: They are, the roads aren't terrible the issue is the snow banks are SO high and all of a sudden your lane will disappear. So, just have to be careful. I survived, lol.

@snowjewelz: hahah right?! I guess my body gets spoiled so they kill me the next day, even if DH goes in I still am up waiting to hear if she goes back down!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: Haha I know, we have so much traffic these days where the normal 2 lanes all became 1 lanes. So annoying!
@FaithFertility: Aww, hehe, a mother's job is never done! The worst is when everyone's sleeping and I wake up to pee or wake up for no reason!
Oh man, I had a dream last night that I delivered my next baby lol. I was pushing for a while and they said oh just wait a little. So I got out of bed somehow, and then she flew out and I caught her, hahahaha. Then I was like hey, that was easy!

@snowjewelz: lol; I had a dream like that last week! Had another boy, and I remember being mad because the nurses didn't let me nurse right away!

@MamaG: sorry for all the sickness, and struggling. It's tough with one, I can't imagine two!
@snowjewelz: @josina: glad the sleep is going so well! I will try to suppress my jealousy

@theotherstark: HA to that sleep comment yesterday. Last night was 3 (or 4) times?! Ugh. Would seriously love to know what it feels like to get 8 hours straight again.
First haircut yesterday as seen on IG, he didn't have a lot of hair but was getting a rat tail in the back so time for a trim, he did great. Helped I think that we are good friends with our hair dresser.
Any other babies gotten hair cuts yet?
edit:(I mean toddlers!)
pomelo / 5298 posts
@josina: No hair cuts for us. K isn't likely to get one until she's 2+. Heck C doesn't get it cut often either. I think she's had no more than 5 cuts (trims) total in her 4.5 years. The last one was the most "drastic" where she had 2+ inches cut off to even out her deep "V" she had grown into.

Um, we have no hair so...
She does have one patch in the front that gets long and we always have to side swipe it.

@josina: ah, we really really need to cut H's hair; his front swoop keeps getting in his eyes and isn't quite long enough to stay tucked behind his ear. I just am avoiding it, because I haven't found a kids cut place that looks good!

@snowjewelz: right, but R is apart of the No hair don't care club too @winniebee
pomelo / 5660 posts
@theotherstark: I struggle with this too.. Last place butchered Bs hair
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MamaG: hahah ok ok she does have hair but they are soo fine and wispy it barely covers her head! And it's just mostly that front patch lol!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@BandDmommy: aw man! yeah, I have read reviews of ears getting nicked, etc
I know it's tough with little kids when they don't sit still. It just makes me nervous!
@josina: ha, me too! I just feel bad that it is always in his face.

@theotherstark: I got an epic pic last night when E was getting his hair cut; he moved his hand right in front of the scissors and DH has these 'oh shit' eyes, he said it was pretty close!

@josina: M's hair isn't long enough (IMO) to cut yet. He has these cute lil curls in the back though (like DH did & hated, so he'll probably want it cut before I do LOL)

I'll join the trend - just came back from J's first haircut! DH has been pushing for it for a long time, but it was starting to get in his eyes so I finally agreed. I'm a little bit sad about it now though
She used the buzzers around his ears and the back and I was so busy trying to distract him that I didn't think too much about it. Now I wish he had a little more of his baby curls back there. Oh well!
I took the 2 kids by myself and of course as soon as we walked in I see the "cash only" sign and realized I didn't have enough cash. Both kids back in the car and to the ATM and then back to the hair place. At least there was a drive thru ATM close by!

@MrsF: Super mom doing that by yourself with 2 kids!
She cut a little more on E than I wanted too since I was thinking just a trim around the ears/back, but I guess it's gotta get cut sometime, and it'll always grow back!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@josina: It will prob grow back before you know it! I'm sure kids hair grow like weed!

Totally funny/ironic that yesterday I complained about how nice it would be to get 8 hours of sleep straight... and Ethan had NO wake-ups last night 9-6. Lets hope it continues.

@snowjewelz: @josina: Thanks ladies
I have to admit I do sometimes feel like I have super powers whenever I can do something with both of them and it goes well.
@josina: Yes! I hope it's the start of a new trend!

ahhh we HAVE to get Micah's hair cut soon. he's growing a mullet!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MrsF: aww, I'm sure he's so handsome!!
R has NO hair in the front but a lot in the back. It's sort of becoming a mullet lol. But I don't want to cut it yet. His brother needs a cut, so I was going to try to push it out a little and take them both. Hmm.
We've been weaned a week I think? Before that it was sort of every few days / only for the 5 am waking sort of thing. I'm a little sad...he seems fine, LOL. He's also been STTN pretty well....too scared to talk specifics
Afternoon nap seems to be getting crazy late....so we'll probably be switching to 1 soon. Away next week, so I'll wait til after that anyways.
