@Adira: Oh man. Conjunctivitis sucks Do you have to do the erythromycin eye goop? Such a pain. So cute with the blanket too
@BandDmommy: Oh no! Can you cancel it and get something at Target? (unless the stores have been ravaged...)
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: Not positive what the prescription is because I don't have it on me, but they are eye drops. It's not TOO bad, except Logan hates it, haha.

@BandDmommy: I went to whole foods earlier and it was INSANE. And it's only going to get worse And, of course, I forgot booze. Doh.
@winniebee: that is awesome! I tried with h a few times after story time and he just tried to eat them, but that was a few months ago. Maybe I should try again?
@Adira: ha I don't know! H is still not drinking milk, either. He loves water, though. And he did have a massive lunch today. It's so hit or miss, though. He just doesn't eat a ton.

@BandDmommy: ah, the SAME thing happened to us!! We ordered a few days ago. I'm so annoyed!!

@theotherstark: And it looks like all the Dick's are sold out of snow bibs.. WTH... I'm sure there are probably some toddler snow bibs on local FB BST pages for $100s.. lol..

@Adira: sorry about the pink eye.. those drops are a pain to put in.. two person job!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@BandDmommy: Seriously! I've had to do it a few times on my own and it is HARD! Basically had to pin him down and pry his eye lids open and get a drop in. Definitely would be easier with three hands!

@winniebee: @BandDmommy: Right?! I'm going to make a super early TJs run tomorrow for booze
@BandDmommy: yeah, I think we will just put a bunch of pant layers on him and just not be out too long.

@adira: yeah, it's no joke. our ped told me that i should do 2 drops, just to make sure at least one full drop got in. but that if i knew one hit square on target, i could just do one per application. i felt so accomplished the one (!!) time i only had to do one.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@KayKay: haha, right?? A couple times I've just gotten it on the corner of his eyes and hoped it got in when he blinked, lol.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@theotherstark: Our Tjs don't have wine! I kept forgetting to ask them WHY every time, haha. DH actually orders them online now; so we have a box of 12 mixed and match in the basement that we draw from!
@Adira: Aww, that sounds so hard! I'd probably have to distract K with video or something if I have to do it by myself!

Great. DH just text to say K has rashes all over her body. Another virus?! They are bumpy though, almost looks like mosquito bites...

@Adira: sorry about conjunctivas : (
The diarrhea continues. Nothing like dry heaving changing your kids diaper. I would take puke over this any day of the week.

@Adira: ohhhh that stinks, I hate stuff in my eyes so can't imagine putting it in theirs!
@snowjewelz: ohhh no
honeydew / 7283 posts
@KayKay: @Adira: Yeah - during a 10 day period we had drops for the big kid and the ointment for the little guy. Just two different kinds of torture
@snowjewelz: That's strange...
@winniebee: Oh that's horrible I forget when you had him at the ped's. "Just a virus" - I'm assuming?
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: no matching description of HFM so far...
@winniebee: Ahh! I know, their poop is so gross to begin with! Hang in there!
Looks kinda like allergy...? The top of her ears and behind her ears are red and then just a few bumps on her body, waist down.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: Ugh, that sounds rough, I'm sorry!!
@MrsF: Torture is right!
@snowjewelz: Sometimes Xander just gets rashes over his body when he's sick. Hopefully whatever it is, K feels better soon!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
The good thing about not nursing anymore: I can take NyQuil when I'm sick!!
pear / 1961 posts
@adira: hooray! that (kinda) makes up for the pancake boobs seriously, i might be concave.

@snowjewelz: I can join K with the rash I think my skin is so dry from cold weather and our heater in it is all red and so itchy today!
Seriously babies are stronger than we give them credit for in miserable and I'm an adult!

@snowjewelz: Ethan got a rash like that when I accidentally through a dryer sheet in with his clothes... took me awhile to figure out what did it!
@Adira: Boo for being sick, but yay for Nyquil!!
Hope everyone is faring well in the snow!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: That is a great thing! Feel better! Yeah, Kara usually breaks out in rash as the last stage too!
@KayKay: @Adira: @FaithFertility: My boobs looks really sad too!
@josina: I didn't even dry her laundry and DH cannot recall anything for the life of him, hahaha. But then I'd think it'd be ALL over her body if it's something like that...
Anyway, we went to the dr this morning and she said it's probably the same virus that gave her diarrhea last week making its way out. I just don't know why it's at such odd places. Her eye, top of ears, etc.

@snowjewelz: poor girl!
TGIF although DH works this weekend, and I hate to say it but I kind of dread it love time with G but no breaks
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Haha I get what you mean, esp since they're stage 5 clingers!

Woot, Friday! I'm so ready, this week has sucked on all fronts for me.
Unfortunately, DH has to work extra (and not certain when he'll be home). He left this am at 6:00 so I had to get both girls ready and out the door (not my normal mojo). We managed to leave ON TIME instead of the 10 minute late that has become our norm.
I don't expect him home much before K goes to bed tonight, so I'll solo dinner as well. And I expect him gone for most of tomorrow. Tomorrow will be no fun for me.
pear / 1961 posts
@mamag: that's tough! i hate doing morning/dinner/bedtime solo, and it's most of the time. even worse when it's not your normal hang in there, mama!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MamaG: Aww!! Not fun to foresee solo parenting for the near future... Hope the girls will be good to you!
pomelo / 5660 posts
@MamaG: Ugh, I feel you. DH worked till 10/11 p.m. every night this week. It's tough solo parenting for long stretches. But TBH, the hardest part is that our 3 year old "gets" that daddy isn't going to be home. His disappointment is the worst. The other stuff is okay but seeing him disappointed daddy won't see him breaks my heart.
pomelo / 5660 posts
@snowjewelz: Yep, breaks my heart. He picks out books and puts them next to him and says "Daddy will read me these" when I tell him daddy won't be home he cries.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: Nooo At least he will get lots of daddy time being snowed in!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MamaG: Boo, I'm sorry! My husband has been working long hours all week, so I feel you. Luckily he's been around the weekend. Hopefully solo-parenting tomorrow isn't too bad for you.
@BandDmommy: Ugh, my husband hasn't been working THAT late, but he has been working late, and every time I tell Xander he's going to be late tonight, he starts crying.
