@winniebee: Ha and not wanting to talk specifics. That's sort of where I am on all things K (sleep, eat, sick), I don't want to talk about it in fear that it all goes to hell in a handbasket. It's easier to just talk about the weather (which is pretty non-eventful in Texas).

@MamaG: it's actually a gorgeous day up in Maine today.... : )

@winniebee: I bet it is, brisk.
So here's a fun topic, since I don't want to talk about my kid - any Valentine's plans?

D got sent home from daycare with fever yesterday, she seems to be fever free after Motrin and a good morning nap. I'm ready for normal to return. Between the snow and the sickness... I just need a break... lol

@winniebee: I think we are done nursing also.. we were just nursing MOTN, and he hasn't needed it the past 2 nights. I'm glad at his point though, ready to be done.
@MamaG: Valentines - Nope! Other than taking some cute pics with E and my new camera; we're setting up a 'kissing booth' similar to the xmas tree booth I did for xmas.
@BandDmommy: Hope she's better, rough week!

@oliviaoblivia: i keep meaning to ask if A is walking yet!
@mamag: nope! i'm running a 5k that saturday, and we don't have a sitter lined up. we are going on vacation the next week with grandparents, so will probably just do a delayed dinner with free childcare. yay being old and married. ha.

@josina: I'm equal parts glad and sad. I suspected it was the reason he would wake at night still (he was STTN about 50% of the time since 12m). I had like zero milk left so it was obviously for comfort.

@MamaG: we got a sitter for the 13th...will get out to dinner. We don't make a huge deal of the holiday, but it's definitely a good excuse for a nice dinner!

@BandDmommy: Oh no!
@MamaG: I don't even know what day of the week it is.. (goes looks at calendar).. Oh! I don't have work the next day! We have church during the day, but I also really don't want to go out to eat on that day...

On a non baby level
Today was the 100th day of school I made a shirt with 100 names of past and present students it was so fun to see old kiddos see their names and get excited!
Days like today make working worth it!!!!!

@FaithFertility: I saw that on IG last night. C has her 100th day on Tuesday. I'm going to try to make her something this weekend to wear. I'm also trying to come up with a letter for her teachers and the administrative staff of a 100 things we are thankful for or that she has learned. 100 days was never a big deal when I was a kid in the stone age

@MamaG: Me either, another school in our district does 101 day
101 Dalmation theme!!!! So cute!

@FaithFertility: thanks! I'm really great. Blissfully happy. Aurora is possibly the easiest baby yet. Already sleeping six hours at night. Never cries. Gains like gang busters. We're so very lucky. The older girls have just taken to her and are so so sweet. It's so much better than I ever imagined.

@oliviaoblivia: i am so happy for you friend!! Any chance your family wants to do their yearly meet up in Portland this year?? I need to meet your second and third babies!

@winniebee: I think we'll be in RI for a couple weeks this summer. Meet you half way?

@winniebee: Congrats on nursing for so long and glad that maybe weaning has helped in the sleep department! (or not )
@BandDmommy: I hope D is feeling better today!
@FaithFertility: That sound like fun! I've been sort of wondering if hibachi with kids would be awesome or just a pain to keep them in their seats. Let me know!
@oliviaoblivia: So glad you guys are doing well! Your IG pics are so full of love You're making 3 look doable!

@winniebee: @oliviaoblivia: Yo! I know someone else who lives between RI and Maine

I've had an awful cold this week but of course as soon as I'm feeling better J's come down with it He was up a lot last night and is just a gross mess today. You know when they wake up and you have to wash all of the goobers off of their whole face... yeah.
I could feel that he had a fever before nap but I just gave Tylenol without taking his temp because I didn't want to get him crazy and crying again.
pomelo / 5660 posts
@oliviaoblivia: you are giving me hope!
D woke up with 103 fever today. Gave her Motrin, need to take her temp in a little bit. She's with babysitter now.

I need help from y'all on cold season. How long do you let a cough/runny nose go before you head to the dr? No fever. cough seems to be somewhat disturbing sleep. It's a junky, mucousy cough and the nose isn't too bad.
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@MamaG: I've been told not to go unless it's affecting his breathing / he's wheezing. I think timeline is 10-14 days?
Never hurts to call in though and ask.
pomelo / 5660 posts
Motrin wore off and fever back.. Sounds like she may have 5 day fever going around
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MamaG: I don't.. I'd probably just call and re-confirm what I can give her to help.
@BandDmommy: Aww, I'm so sorry!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MamaG: my pediatrician said the average cold lasts 2 weeks in kids, so if it's getting worse not better after 2 weeks, I go in. Unless I suspect croup.

@MrsF: G is a dream out to dinner, so I'm guessing it will be fun!
