@FaithFertility: My last tip, I hate to do it, but it does work. It often requires two people. As you are squirting it into her mouth blow in her face. The air blowing at her will force her to swallow.
THe only other thing I have is distraction. I know she likes music. Turn it up and get her distracted to make any of these other tactics just a little easier to trick her.

@MamaG: No that tip with blowing is what I needed! Thanks, awful but there is no other way! We will try that before bedtime!!! Thanks again!

@FaithFertility: K usually likes the meds, but this time around she is cranky too. I usually do it in small squirts into the cheek when she is distracted. We are watching more videos/TV than usual.
Thank goodness for babywearing... She has been so cranky today. Fever hovering around 101 again.

@FaithFertility: The other thing that I find works is making sure you squirt the medicine into their cheeks instead of straight towards their throat. What flavor do you have? My kids seem to like grape flavored medicine a lot.

@Adira: She is a monster tried it all going to try the blowing thing tonight!

Way behind but:
@winniebee: Hope that 3rd baby surprises you soon despite the low AMH, and that your OB can give you some answers/solutions.
@FaithFertility: So excited for you and baby 2! Hope G is feeling better. Any pregnancy symptoms yet?
And another mom is prego with #3 (from IG?). Maybe I knew this already but I'm don't have all the IG vs HB names synced in my head yet.
I told DH how 4 of the Dec. HB mom's were prego (or have babies already) and how I'm super jealous! But we wait...

@josina: Yes, she is not very active on HB but she is part of our group. @missybear is pregnant too.. but she's not active on here..
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@josina: Don't worry mama I'm RIGHT THERE with you. I report all the HB pregnancies to DH too haha. He's like fine, you want to make one?! He really would too, lol. I'm sooo tempted! But I gotta keep reminding myself why we're waiting! My main focus these days is just to spend precious, precious time with K.

@josina: Thank you! We are so excited! Kind of dizzy today
@snowjewelz: I understand you 100% I started to feel guilty over the weekend with G!
I just looked at her and thought you are still my baby
Hormones already....lol
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: You still have nine months! By then G will be a full blown toddler read to help with baby brother/sister! I've seen allllll kinds of age gaps, and for myself my sister is 7 yrs younger, but I really believe that family dynamic is what parents instill and nurture when kids are young!

@snowjewelz: So very very true! Didn't help that she is a sick cranky mess!
Makes my heart hurt we rocked in rocking chair from 4:30-6:30 a.m. kinda liked it.....lol

How is everyone else fairing?! Hope the kiddos are getting healthier!!!!!!!!

@FaithFertility: Aww poor baby!! I know what you mean... Sooo tiring but at the same time I feel more patient these days for some reason!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: I think because we are getting closer and closer for them not being ohhh so tiny and the times are less that they need us so much!

@faithfertility: i swear we are just passing the same (slightly mutated) sickness back and forth over here! i usually go the natural route with our cleaning supplies, but i'm fed up with it and went and bought some clorox wipes this morning to wipe down all the light switches, door handles, etc. it probably has nothing to do with any of that and more to do with the gym daycare/preschools, but it makes me feel better to do something

Both kids seem ok. Both B and D have runny nose but that seems to be status quo lately.
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@FaithFertility: I definitely dont want E getting sick as we've actually been healthy all winter *knock on wood * but I had a pang of jealousy about your pic rocking her! E is so not cuddly.
@snowjewelz: lol, DH said the same thing, like 'your turn?'. But yes. Must. Wait. (as I chant that repeatedly in my head).
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@KayKay: Yeah, I use everything natural to clean the house EXCEPT I spray that lysol stuff like there's no tomorrow (not with K around, of course). But you are right it's probably nothing in the house but more what's getting passed around outside!

@FaithFertility: First off, congrats!!!
Everyone here, except me, is hanging in there. I thought I had allergies or something Sat night, but was miserable all day yesterday with a congested & runny nose. Trying hard not to give it to M. It's going to start being in the 80's most days, so hopefully no more sickness around here.

@snowjewelz: @josina: i actually thought i was preg last week! i still hadn't had a PP period and has some weird spotting for a couple days + no other signs of a period. with both girls, i have had implantation bleeding that i mistook for a period (or a period starting)...and the timing would've been right...so i was like: ummmm??? but i peed on 3 FRERs and got not even a shadow. i may test one more time tomorrow (at this point, it would be like 18 days past the DTD that i thought might have conceived), but i'm guessing it was just a totally wonky first period after weaning. the timing wouldn't at all have been ideal, but now i've got the itch!

@josina: it's cram88 - she isn't really active on this thread but lurks on Hb still.

Thanks for all the support ladies. It's just strange that I seem to get pregnant if I look at my husband, but then have signs of low ovarian reserve? I've read a bunch and apparently some docs think low AMH is linked to egg quality but my OB dismissed that idea. I guess just being 35 can mean poor egg quality though. I don't know what to make of it all, honestly.
Last week was an effing nightmare with norovirus here. Everyone seems better, even if tummies are still a bit off. Fingers crossed we have a small break before the next illness hits..
Ryan. Oh Ryan. So emotional and toddlery lately. Throws himself on the ground over not getting to splash in sink. Etc. I can't help but chuckle at the antics this time around!.

@winniebee: What did the OB make of the nursing situation? I don't know how that impacts AMH levels. I read your other thread just because I find this all interesting as an older mom. It did take us a lot longer to conceive K, but I never tested early, so I would be unaware if I was having these sort of losses like you are. I also never went through any extra testing and I trusted my OB (maybe naively). I found the conversation about taking a supplement to improve quality interesting. My OB explained it to me as you are born with your eggs, and they age as we do. I would never thought to use a supplement to improve quality, I'm fascinated. Strange, I know. Nonetheless, I hope your family has a "healthy" week and you get all the facts to make a plan.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@MamaG: my OB dismissed nursing as a cause of the losses particularly because progesterone was normal. She said AMH number isn't impacted by that. Last month we were almost weaned but not quite. But now he's been weaned 2-3 weeks so maybe that will help.

@josina: who else is pregnant?! I thought I followed everyone on IG.
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@winniebee: I was wondering if the nursing was an issue too. I have my fingers crossed for you!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@BandDmommy: ah thanks! I missed the announcement from @cram88: !! So exciting I think I saw earlier that missybear is pregnant again.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@theotherstark: I think that's been the issue, but apparently no one else does! Of course this new information is sending me for a loop and now I just don't know.
eggplant / 11861 posts
@winniebee: I think that might be something! As BF can for some be that form of BC, so maybe it does mess with hormones. You sound like such a level headed Mama, and I pray you can get information that will help in your family planning

Now she has diaper rash from hell, and 2 teeth coming
Man these poor kids, they sure do go through a lot!
Poor Mommies too! I'm tired!
Up at 11:30 and 12 for the day at 6 whomp whomp
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: Yikes I am so sorry! Are you feeling the 1st trimester woes yet? When we had the rash from hell the best thing really was just airing out, no wipes and layering on whatever cream on THICK. We also tried to wash her butt instead when it was really bad so nothing touches it.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@FaithFertility: bad news!!!!
I have diarrhea and the aches. Lawd, make it stop!!!!!
