@theotherstark: Moving sucks but being closer to family will be nice!
@winniebee: Hope the afternoon nap goes well!
@whenoceansrise: We spent time outside Saturday too with our 'sneak peak' of spring weather, back in the 30's this week. E got sooo mad when I brought him inside to change him (gma brought him out in his pj's after his morning nap), he cried the ENTIRE time till we were back outside.
@MamaG: We have 8 teeth up front. Boo to allergies.

@Adira: @josina: @snowjewelz: thanks!!
@snowjewelz: ha, I know. We will get up to the mountains and visit snow again I am looking forward to not bundling up as much next winter!!

@theotherstark: so exciting!! Did your husband get a new job??

@MamaG: no canines here. Ryan still has 7 teeth! Waiting on a lower incisor and allllll the molars, which I can feel but can't see.

@theotherstark: Moving sucks and I'm just moving next door! LOL How exciting that you'll be closer to family at least. I want to take M to the snow in Northern AZ next winter.
@MamaG: We still only have 6 teeth here....4 top & 2 bottom.
@josina: 30's? BRRR that's cold! We spent most of Sunday outside at the renaissance festival...it was mid 80's.
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@AngelicOne: It was almost 60° on Saturday... Mother nature is a real tease!
SUCH a bad idea last night to stay up till midnight reading (just HAD to finish my book). E was up from 1 to 2 for some strange reason. SOO tired. Lesson learned.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@josina: Haha I totally understand though.. And it's awesome when you read a book that you just can't put down!!

K's been totally fighting sleep these nights, she doesn't sleep till almost 9:30 and I've had to wrangle her into the Tula to wear her to sleep! But since I can't figure out the cause (cold, teething, who knows), I'm just going with it for now. Once she is asleep, she STTN so I have no idea what's making her fight sleep so bad!

@winniebee: he did! He took an in-house position. It involves a lot of travel, which will be tough, but when he is home, he will have more time with H, so that is nice
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@snowjewelz: at least she is still STTN?? Is this on days she has two naps, or one? Sorry she's fighting sleep. That is always so tough
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@theotherstark: So exciting for you guys... Also very jealous that you will be in sunny cali
I'm actually totally ok that she's fighting sleep; I just wish I know why! Yes I am tired and yes I wish she would just sleep already so I can get stuff done but I'm pretty zen about it since I know it won't last forever haha.
She is still taking 2 naps. But there was a day or 2 where she was done with nap 2 by 3 and she was still up till past 9!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@theotherstark: that's my dream job!! Not the travel, but in house.

@snowjewelz: I know a lot of people who have had this issue. One nap was the answer
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@snowjewelz: their sleep is so unpredictable and weird!! I have given up trying to figure it out maybe one nap would help??
@winniebee: his area of expertise sort of means he will need to travel, and his travel would have increased if he had stayed at the firm anyway. It's not ideal, but hopefully he will be able to cut back in a few years it's a great company and position for him, so we are pretty excited!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: Oh man, guess we have to bite the bullet and just do it! I wasn't thinking about that since she wasn't even napping late into the afternoon or anything... If this is true, it def sneaked up on us! I kept thinking I'd know when she starts fighting a nap, but she's fighting bed time instead!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@snowjewelz: it seems like that's the issue! Consolidating day sleep seems to help!
Ryan took a 3 hour nap yesterday but slept poorly last night. Still a nasty cold. I like the one nap, but I think he needs two today. We'll see!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: Yikes! Kara has a cold too. I finally don't need to wipe her nose every 5 seconds tho... How's T? I know we mostly talk about the Dec babies but I'm always so curious about big brothers/sisters too!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@snowjewelz: he's great! his immune system is so much better now that he's older. he got a slight cold but that's it. he's such a fun kid. approaching 4 and he's gotten so easy
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: man, that's good to hear haha, I am really hoping this horrible winter will build up their immune system too. And yay to threenage year being almost over!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@snowjewelz: 2.5-3.5 for us was HARD. It's gotten progressively easier since then. T was so sick as a baby and toddler, so it's nice to see all that sickness pay off, haha! When we were all taken down with the stomach bug a few weeks ago, he was the only one who came out unscathed!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Sooooo I just told my mom not to give K her 2nd nap! Hoping she won't be a cranky mess and we can go back to normal or earlier bed time! I will kinda miss her though... As much as I want her to sleep early I did enjoy the extra hours with her!

@theotherstark: @Adira: So cute that they're trying to jump!
Jack has finally adopted walking as his primary means of getting around, which is fun. He was already so fast and mobile as a crawler that the walking hasn't made things much more challenging and he seems happier. We just had a playdate with some of our best friends and it was so cute to see both of the little guys starting to walk at the same time.
@FaithFertility: @snowjewelz: Babies can definitely do weird things around these nap transitions! For my kids it seems to take a few weeks to work itself out but once things consolidate into one nap it's worth it!
@winniebee: Oh man. I hope he's feeling better!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@whenoceansrise: That sounds wonderful! I can't wait for warmer weather... Actually, it was nice here this weekend but I had to work. Days with kids are just SO much more fun when you can get outside!
@theotherstark: Exciting news! It's so hard to move but always nice to be closer to family.
@josina: It's that always the way that when you stay up they decide they're not going to sleep? Ugh. I came home late from Moms book club (more like chatting and drinking wine club ) and I figured that the kids would definitely be up over night!

@MrsF: She is 1 nap 5 days a week and night sleep is still awful lately
honeydew / 7283 posts
@FaithFertility: I'm sorry. That's so hard. I hope things turn around soon!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@FaithFertility: that's so tough. I totally understand with the crummy sleep. Hang in there!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@MrsF: Thanks! I am just so tired and that brings no patience, and that makes me feel bad
Sorry negative Nancy!

You must be so tired! Those first weeks of pregnancy are exhausting... I hope G gets with the program!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@FaithFertility: I know. After the fact, I'm now saying that I enjoy the extra time with her, which is still true, but in the moment, all I can usually think about is WHY can't you go to sleep! I have a billion chores to do! I had to stay up till 11 doing chores and really was not a happy camper lol!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@snowjewelz: I hear ya! She will fight going back down and or wake super early and I am so frustrated but then that sweet face will fall asleep in my arms and I just want to kiss her to death #momstruggles
eggplant / 11861 posts
Sorry about all the sleep talk lately!
I just realized that G wakes crying/screaming every day doesn't matter if it is middle of the night or her morning wake!?
Anyone else?! I don't have volume on monitor so she could wake and I just hear her by the time she is crying, but I've watched before and it seems as if she wakes sits up or stands and just cries?
