@MrsF: What were you doing with the swing? Maybe you can try cutting it out gradually by using at the beginning of the night and switching out after a MOTN wakeup?

My LO is weird! She doesn't like the rnp, and swing only works for like 20-30 min max. She naps right on us of on her stomach (we keep an eye on her). At night she co sleeps and nurses to sleep on our bed.
I'm going to work on putting her in the pack and play at night after feedings and pray she doesn't wake! It's more effort on my part; I would love to just pass out without moving!
For naps I would love it if she would even sleep s full nap on the swing rather than on us!

Ok so I started a facebook group. It is called HB December 2014 moms. If you request to join I will add you as it is a private group. I think you will find it much easier to keep updated. You can start posts in particular topics or questions we we can reply to them directly. See you over there.

@snowjewelz: Nope, I think we avoided whatever it was. It was just hard with a baby waking up to eat right about the time I'd want to sleep, feeding myself & taking care of our dog (we live in an apt so he needs to be leashed to do his business).
M sleeps on us, in his swing, in his rnp type thing, or a boppy next to us on the couch (usually when I need free hands to pump) but never for very long in any of them

I try to switch up where she naps, bassinet, swing, on us...it seems to help, but her best sleep is on us, or in our bed...lol

@Mrs.Lilac: I just requested to join. Thanks for making the group.

@snowjewelz: Kara sounds exactly like Micah! We now co sleep because he won't sleep anywhere else. He hates the swing and sometimes if I'm lucky I can get him to sleep for like 15 minutes in the rnp. The only way I can get things done during the day now is by babywearing. Keep us updated on how getting her to sleep in the pack n play goes!

@Mrs.Lilac: I want to join! Although I am not FB friends with anyone- who wants to give me her name so I can add you and join the group!?
Also- it's 1:15am and my kid won't go to sleep!!! She just keeps nursing- then falling asleep for 5 minutes then waking up again! Ahhhh

I'm going to be sad if you ladies stop posting here regularly now that there's a FB group. I know I'm not always on top of this thread, but I hope people continue to be active here and chat with us ladies that don't join the FB group.

I will need the link.
@Adira: I will try and keep posting here also! I just leave this page up on my phone browser so I have no issues with HB!

@snowjewelz: Ethan sleeps so easily on his belly, i just wish I could let him. Luckily he sleeps pretty much anywhere, although he does sleep better/ longer if he's cuddled up with me. We have him sleep in the RnP must of the time.

@Mrs.Lilac: I can't find the group either!A link would be great or I will try looking it up on the computer vs the phone?
@Adira: I am 100% still here!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@whenoceansrise: I will! I really just hope they will partly outgrow this stage and sleep a little better!

@josina: nice stretch! We just out her on her belly after she falls asleep on us and we keep her on a flat surface in the living room (on her playmat on our big ottoman) and keep and eye on her and keep things away from her face. I think it works bc it's not like she naps for hours on end anyway

@snowjewelz: I think we might get longer stretches at night if he could sleep on his back but we'll just have to wait till hes rolling over on his own. I let him sleep that way during the day though since we can watch him.
Not starting out so good today! I forgot my breakfast and my wallet is at home in the diaper bag so no cappacinno either! Luckily I grabbed some strawberries so I have at least something to eat this morning.

@MamaG: yes, first full day! I have lots to catch up on so I think it will go by fast, which is good. Less time to think about the cutie I left at home. 1st pumping session of the day right now.

1 Month check up
G weighs 9lb 7oz :)) up a lb from last check 12 days ago!!!!
He said her neck is tight when turned to the right, which makes sense she does favor turning to the left, so he showed us a stretch to help it, and try to have her sleep facing that side as well which I do, but she moves at night.......geeezzz these kids always worrying about something!!!!!
