@AngelicOne: thanks wow 3 hrs in the swing! I think k can only do that sleeping on us! Or combination of on us and then on her tummy!

@FaithFertility: yay! So great to hear she is gaining so well! And it's cool that your dr can even tell! But I agree that you can't really control what she does MOTN! Good thing is her preference prob changes anyway!

@Mrs.Lilac: I'd like the FB link. I'm a December mom, buy you all were in page forty something by the time DD2 was born and I can't keep up!

@FaithFertility: RELAX!! The worst she can do is fuss! Enjoy the pedi for all of us pls

Having visitors this morning completely thrown off her schedule.. She hasn't napped properly till now! Hopefully it will be a nice long nap.
Daddy and daughter both passed out and somehow I'm the one doing laundry! But I like the alone quiet time to catch up on HB, FB, IG...

@FaithFertility: jealous! I need a mani/pedi so bad! And a massage!
@snowjewelz: that was me yesterday. It actually felt nice being able to get stuff done
So I called the pediatrician about Micah's spitting up and they got him in tomorrow. Will be good to get some peace of mind!

@whenoceansrise: I hope so! It's so easy to worry ourselves silly googling and what not at home!
Anyone feel like they lack pics of them and baby? I have so many pics of DH and baby but most of the pics of us two are horrible looking selfies! and when DH offers to take a pic I always decline bc I look so terrible lol!

@snowjewelz: I don't have many of me & M either. I have a few selfie ones I took since I'm usually the one holding him but DH isn't a photographer so he never thinks to randomly take pics like I do.
@whenoceansrise: Glad he can be seen quickly if he does have reflux issues.

@Mrs.Lilac: I'd like the link as well.
I love this thread though! I'm not going anywhere

@josina: Hope your day has been going better! The first day is tough.
@FaithFertility: Relax and enjoy your pedicure! Sounds amazing! Sounds like a great check up. Nice job mama!

@snowjewelz: I feel the same. I think the only photos I have of me and the baby were taken by my dad when he was here. At least excluding attempts at selfies. Pretty sure my husband hasn't taken a single photo of us

I have my 6 weeks visit Thursday and keep trying to decide if I should bring the baby with me or ask my FIL to watch her. I always have to wait forever at the dr and could see being there easily for two hours... Which is a lot of time to ask her to be calm. What did or will u guys do?
honeydew / 7283 posts
@snowjewelz: just let people take pictures even if you think you look bad! When you look back at them you'll be glad to have them either way. There's a pic of me and DD from her newborn days - she looks adorable but I look exhausted. Still, when I look at it it reminds me how much we've been through and how far we've come.

@Miss Ariel: with my DD I didn bring her (she was so colicky I couldn't handle it) but this time I brought J. I rocked him a little in the bucket and was planning on asking them if they could put me in an exam room to BF him if they made me wait too long and he was hungry. He did well. I even rocked him in the car seat bucket while the Dr put the mirena in, lol.

@Miss Ariel: I left her at homw with my mom; she had just woken up when I was about to leave so I just had my mom give her a bottle while I pumped on my way there in the car.

@Miss Ariel: I brought Logan with me, but he's a pretty calm baby. I nursed him while waiting for my doctor and then just put him in his carseat while I got examined.

Pedi was great, G napped most of the time for DH and when she woke was happy, so once I got home I fed her
@Miss Ariel: We braught G but DH was with me.....our MW requested to see her

@MRSF: @Adira: the problem with that is she hates her car seat. She'd likely be fine once we got there after being put to sleep by the car. But if I eats I'd likely need to hold her the rest of the time since she'd start screaming if I try to put her back in the car seat... So we'll see...

@MrsF: Walled you the link
@Miss Ariel: Mine was Friday & M went with me because DH was sick. He slept in the carseat the whole time.

@FaithFertility: Glad she let her mommy enjoy herself! I'm always running to the stores to do returns/exchange, a pedi is so far down the list!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Miss Ariel: yeah, I hear you. J doesn't exactly like the car seat either but we had a long drive so he fell asleep. Basically I got lucky.

@AngelicOne: @MrsF: I guess I'll just cross my fingers for a long nap then!

@BandDmommy: I'm so worried that M will get some horrible illness and pass it to her brother. I hope B is feeling better soon!

At urgent care again. Her chest seems to retracting. I might be over reacting but better safe than sorry. Unfortunately they are more busy than Saturday afternoon.

@MamaG: oh no! I'm so glad you're being cautious though. Hope it's nothing!

@BandDmommy: i hope not! I think Ty is coming down with cold #3
Gah I can't keep up today.
I do give the vitamin d drops but only for the past week. They are the enfamil ones.
I have no pics of me and Ryan. I'm always behind the camera!
Talked to ped about Ryan's reflux. I mean, all babies have reflux and a fair amount if spitting up is totally normal. But he's been unhappy after spitting up and really fussy after feeds (mostly due to burps I think). So he might be having acid backsplash when he spits up. She said we could trial Zantac to see if it helps. I'm not optimistic but we will give it a go. I need to work harder for more burps too I think.
Ryan is 6w tomorrow and I have my pp appt. I'm taking him no other options ( older is in school). He sleeps well in the car seat though so Id take him almost anywhere. Feeling a little down about my post partum physique so getting cleared to work out (if my child ever gets the clue about sleeping well at night) will help. Too cold to walk outside so the Jillian tapes are pretty much my only option for now.

@FaithFertility: glad for a good ped appt and a good pedi!
