She is very low percentile wise.. But dr said as long as she grows in portion to her own #s it's nothing to sorry about. Ryan can easily be closer to 10 lbs any day!

I'll be setting up the humidifier and calling the Dr tomorrow most likely. Worried about the croup.

@snowjewelz: ps I think Kara is officially the smallest height wise! Ryan was 22.25 inches a week ago. But only 9 lbs then so she's probably heavier

@snowjewelz: I'm only 5'2 and DH is 5'6 so we expect short kids but Ryan seems like he might be closer to average height in the end. My first had always been 5th percent or lower for weight and 10th for height and was always on his own curve so we never really worried. Sounds like Kara is doing just fine!

@FaithFertility: so far just ear.. I know rectal is more accurate too. I'm alone tho and don't have the energy to do it and forgot to when I was changing diaper.

@FaithFertility: I have a forehead thermometer that I use to take Logan's temperature.
@josina: Does he seem like he's having difficultly breathing at all? Take off his clothes so you can see his chest and stomach - does his stomach pull in under the ribs at all? Or can you see the skin pulling up against the ribs when he breathes? That's a sign he's having trouble breathing and you should call your pediatrician (or take him to urgent care/the ER if you can't get a hold of a nurse/pediatrician to speak to).

I called the pediatrics office to ask. He's not wheezing and no fever so for now just keeping close watch and hope it doesn't get worse. Hes sleeping under the humidifier now. The nurse told me RSV is going around. No fun.

This cough of mine is the worst. It kept me up for over an hour last night and now it keeps waking Logan when I'm trying to get him back to sleep.

@Adira: oh no! Do you think putting on some white noise can cover up the cough a bit?
K seems to be better later on at night. She ate at 11 and again at 2. I'm pumping right now at 5am?! She woke up around 4 really uncomfortable.. This is usually when I just put her on me and we both keep sleeping (I keep forgetting to try giving her gas drops before hand). I put her on her stomach instead so she doesn't rely on sleeping on me but since I have to watch her, I'm wide awake and might as we'll get pumping over with.
I know we talked about this before, but how many oz are you guys freezing per portion? I've been freezing whatever I get which is usually a little under or over 4 oz.

Inexplicably no "long" stretch last night. Up every 2-2.5 hrs. I ate some crackers that had milk and I didn't know I'm so pissed.

What size diapers is everyone in? I can't imagine Ryan is more than 10 lbs but we are getting lots of blow outs in size 1.

@winniebee: size 1 we are I am sure over 10lbs now we were close at last apt, no crazy blow outs, every now and then....

@winniebee: we are in 1s at nearly 14lbs. As soon as we are thru this last box I'll be moving to 2s. No blowouts, but they are getting snug.
