@BandDmommy: I plan on nursing until 7 months I want to try to go up until I go back to work next Aug, but will wean her this summer I'm thinking....
@snowjewelz: YES!!!! I always thought those nursing necklaces were a joke, but now I'm thinking of getting one, her hands are her thing she grabs me, grabs her face, my clothes...
maybe there is something to them?
@MamaG: G is in a pnp in our room, I like to be able to see/heat her although she sounds like a goat most nights....lol
@snowjewelz: @whenoceansrise: I love to cosleep with her around 6 ish....she wakes and I just let her nap with me until 7-8 It is the best!

@MamaG: J is still in the rock'n'play but we moved it into his room. Next step is into the crib, but I'm not sure when that will be. He's still swaddled, but we swaddled M for a very long time and moved her into the crib in the swaddle. It seems to help him sleep so we'll stick with it for now.

@mamag: e is in her bedroom in the crib. she typically only wakes up once a night, so it hasn't been that bad dealing with the stairs in the middle of the night (master is on the 3rd floor; girls' rooms are on the 1st). the worst is during the day if she is fighting her naps -- i should count how many flights of stairs i do then!
she gets double swaddled with a miracle blanket and an a&a for nightime.

So K has been super fussy with nursing and out right hating on one boob. I just read that it can be still side effects from shots from Fri?! The fussiness did kinda start after shots...

@MamaG: M is sleeping in his little lounger thing (like a RnP) at night finally. He goes to bed between 8 - 9pm and sleeps until about 3 - 5am in it. He wakes once or twice during the night for food & diaper change.

@BandDmommy: I BF'd Xander for 14 months, so I'm hoping I can make it to a year with Logan.

@MamaG: Logan is sleeping inn a bassinet next to our bad, but we plan to move him to his crib at 3 months, just like we did with Xander.

So I did a dreamfeed at 10:00 last night and Logan slept almost 7 hours! If I can just get him to consistently sleep that long, returning to work won't be so bad.

@Adira: that's awesome! I was coming here to say that K just did 7 hrs too! She went down at 10 and when she started to fuss I fully expected to clock to say 2am but it was 5 already! I 100% know that this is not her norm tho. Plus my boobs were rock hard and now I'm pumping.

@snowjewelz: Yes to rock hard boobs! Mine hurt so bad!! It was a relief to nurse and then pump!

@snowjewelz: Nice sleep!!! I tried to dream feed G last night, but it woke her up wide eyed
But baby Mozart on the sound machine put her back out!!!

@FaithFertility: it's ok.. Babies have their off days too! K will only nap on me today!

@FaithFertility: oh man those days are rough. Maybe she is learning a new skill or spurting. Sounds like it based on that she was up a lot last night.

@snowjewelz: @winniebee: Def, I think she found her voice too...

We had our 2 month vist today. She's at 9 lbs 6 ozs and 21.85 inches long.
We did have some heart wrenching screaming after her shots in the early afternoon, but a few hours later she was so tired from all the excitement of the day.

@FaithFertility: Sorry to hear G was so cranky today. Hopefully tonight goes okay.
@Miss Ariel: Those shots are brutal. Hopefully she'll sleep okay tonight. You might find she is extra cranky tomorrow too.
Attempting another dreamfeed tonight! I hope it yields good results again.

@Adira: I hope so too! I should dream feed now but I just feel so wrong to wake K up! She went down at 8:30 and I thought for sure she would be up by now to eat so I didn't pump... Now I'm pumping hoping she will stay asleep till at least 1-2am so my supply can come back in!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: Did she end up sleeping as long as you wanted? Logan only slept 5.5 hours, so not as long as I was hoping, though still pretty good.

Poor D is congested. She ended up only doing a 7 hour stretch. i hate winter and sickness

@Miss Ariel: aw shots are so hard! we have ours in a few hours

I've been testing out the bottle before bed v. breastfeed before bed....it seems Ryan sleeps the same length regardless of what he gets. Four hours, pretty much on the button. And he's going to bed earlier, like 8:15. So I'm not catching all of his long stretch but I usually go to bed at 9. Last night after the long stretch, things weren't so hot. And of course it's 8 and he's still sleeping and the toddler was up at 6 and we are waiting on Ryan to get up so I can take Ty to school!

@BandDmommy: The congestion sucks I hope she gets no worse. But a 7 hour stretch = fantasy in my world!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: she did her normal 5 hrs so it worked out. I feel like I could have tried harder to put her back to sleep but I kinda wanted her to eat. Then she did another 5 hrs. I just can't bring myself to wake her lol!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: aww! We have to nose frida her every morning too even with the humidifier! and I keep forgetting to put Vicks baby rub on!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@winniebee: I know! I never sleep the full length of her first stretch anyway!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Miss Ariel: Awwww I'm dreading shots, hope you guys are doing OK today!!!!!

@banddmommy: @snowjewelz: we have had the crud around here lately too. K and I have both had it worst (she is still hacking like crazy), but luckily E hasn't seemed too bothered yet. A couple random nights of weird sleep that i am attributing to sickness despite obvious symptoms from her. Then again, it's so dry in CO that I do saline & nose frida on her before bed most nights anyways just to keep her from getting totally dried out.
pear / 1961 posts
@adira: @snowjewelz: Dreamfeeds never work for me! My kids never wake up enough to eat enough to make a difference!! E will suck for like 2 minutes and then just pass back out and refuse.
