@Adira: it's the inevitable! and it's my first so I' guess it's normal to freak out!
So I think K just woke herself up from trying to eat her hand.. ?! She only did a 4+ stretch and now just a 2 hr one! I keep trying to put her back to sleep but she is stubborn and keeps trying to eat her hand! Hopefully she can nurse back to sleep..

@snowjewelz: Logan tries to eat his hand too. He's either hungry or just wants to suck on something. Does Kara take a pacifier? I usually try that with Logan first before nursing.

@Adira: thank you so much for saying that. I know that we are all doig our best but it's nice to hear it. I'm sorry that maternity leave is waning to an end. Man those first few weeks of daycare are tough. Enjoy the last few weeks!!

Ryan up at 11, 245, 615. Not horrible except Tyler cried at 9 and 1245 and up at 645. And from 245-615 Ryan fussed in his sleep like every half hour and I kept getting up to check on him since he had shots I was worried about him. Ugh!!!!

@Adira: yeah she kinda takes one, I didnt have it with me so i nursed her. She slept for 4-2-3; oh 7 hrs come back!!

@winniebee: it must be hard to juggle 2! The few days post shots might be unpredictable but I hope he is already over it!

K was extra gassy and fussy yesterday, ate an extra bottle and slept all night in the pack and play instead of the RnP. We might be in the 3 month growth spurt. She was in a good mood this morning but had really pink cheeks when I dropped her off. Please don't be sick! I really don't want to spend another weekend stuck in the house.
We are having date night. First one since K was born. I'm anxious and excited. We waited until c was 2 to have a date night!

@winniebee: Sorry to hear about your rough night.
@snowjewelz: Ahh, yeah, if I didn't have a pacifier, I would've just nursed too.
@MamaG: Have fun on your date night! And fingers crossed that no obey is sick.
Our furnace is dead. It's 2 degrees out and in the 50s in the house. Brrr!!! Our new furnace is being installed right now and I can't wait for it to be on!

@FaithFertility: Yep! He's napping on my lap and we're keeping each other warm.

@MamaG: date night sound so amazing and much needed!
DH's bday is end of March so we figure then would be a good time to go out by ourselves since she would have gotten used to being taken care of by other people and hopefully her sleeping is consistent by then

@Adira: oh no! I'm glad it's being replaced right now! I am so glad I don't have to go outside!

I'm really looking forward to hopefully having one soon. We're getting there

I'm SO over the snow. We're supposed to get another 12+ inches this weekend. We already have 60 inches on the ground so the kids can hardly even walk outside and the roads are terrible. Even in my DH's SUV I can't see around the corners. We had feet of snow on our roof and ice dams so there's water leaking through the kitchen ceiling . All of that and I have to go back to work on Monday. I usually leave here at 5:30am but with the snow, who knows?? I was already nervous about making pumping work and this is just making everything more stressful!

@Adira: kara has been strange too. I think she is 10 weeks.. Not wonder week yet and she isn't acting like a normal growth spurt either
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: It is! It's finally not freezing in here. I totally hear you about the snow. I'm so sick of it. And it's impossible to see around the snow banks. You're already in the middle of the road when you can finally see if anyone is coming. Not looking forward to the storm this weekend.

@MrsF: I knooooww. DH slipped on ice once already! And I'm paranoid about driving K around!

@snowjewelz: Logan is 11 weeks tomorrow and I have no idea what is up with him. He's been sleeping all day!

@MrsF: I'm so with you. We are on blizzard watch. Again. Enjoy your last few days of leave!!!

Ryan is pretty much down for the count post shots. He wakes up to eat but then is immediately ready for another nap.

@Adira: I just read on FB mom group that some babies start teething by 2 months! I wonder if that's why?! Of course I dont see anything.. She is trying to eat her hands even in her sleep! But it's not like she can hold Sophie the giraffe yet...

We are right there with you on the nap all day club........I left at 11:30 to go to my work to see my class....I was gone 2 hours and she slept the whole time... now taken another nap

@snowjewelz: I think at this age they're usually trying to bring their hands to their mouths to soothe themselves. Learning to self-soothe sounds good to me!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@snowjewelz: she probably just discovered her hands and it's a new fascination!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsF: I would be so thrilled if she can self sooth! She is extra fussy too lately
@winniebee: she gets angry and wakes herself up! Loving her fist a lil too much lol

@Adira: eeek, so glad the furnace is back up!!! Too cold for that.
@MrsF: that sounds horrible!! It isn't snowy here but it's been sooo cold. High around 30 today but feels like much less with the winds. Not fun to walk the dog in.
@snowjewelz: aww, she's found her hands! that's why we swaddle h at night - otherwise he wakes himself up! He does break out of it eventually, though.

@FaithFertility: how'd it go with your class - were they super surprised??
