@theotherstark: Adorable!!!
@cheert16: Wow I can't believe you lost weight. Don't diet girlfriend, you're so close to the end!

Uf, I'm so far behind already!
@cheert16: So sorry to hear about your dog Losing a pet can be so hard. Also, I hope you have fun on your date night! DH and I haven't had one in months and I am really hoping we can squeeze something in before this baby comes. Just another thing to plan.. ha!
@Mrs.Lilac: Sorry to hear about your diagnosis! I hope you are able to make it to 37 weeks. While it may not be your ideal birth experience, I hope it all goes well for you! I'll be thinking of you and baby
@magnolia: I was asked throughout my whole pregnancy with #1 if I was having twins because I was "so huge," even by my mother. People just don't know when to not open their mouths sometimes!
@FaithFertility: I have always had some excess fluid with my kiddos. I know there were several appointments with my first where I measured 3+ weeks ahead, so I asked my Dr to refer me to a MFM to get checked out (because Dr. Google is awful), but everything looked fine and DD was perfectly healthy at birth. This time around they tell me at every ultrasound that I have lots of fluid in there, but it must not be enough to be concerned. Baby boy is smaller than DD was, so I am not measuring ahead by nearly as much. I hope it all turns out ok for you too!

@snowjewelz: Happy birthday! Hope you are able to really enjoy it!!
@winniebee: You look great! So glad baby is doing well too.
@BandDmommy: No dropping yet. I tend to carry lower anyway, but this kid has been shoved up in my ribcage all the time. At my ultrasound on Tuesday he was transverse with his head in my right and feet on the left, snuggled up about as far as he could go. He just loves to hide so we can't see his face I'd love it if he dropped so I could breathe again!
@theotherstark: Love your baby area! I was in a 1 bedroom apt when my first was born and I don't regret it one bit.

@MamaG: I hope it's a non-issue as well!
@theotherstark: I spy jellycat! We put up our decal & prints this week too!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@MrsScallop: I always like hearing of people who did the whole baby-in-a-one-bedroom thing! And I'm sorry he's up near your ribs! Hopefully he drops down a bit soon so you can get some better breathing.
@snowjewelz: Aww, fun! I want to see!! Ha, yes, someone gave the bunny to us at the shower. It is SO soft!!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@theotherstark: I have a few jellycats saved on my Amazon wish list; I didn't even know they are a "thing" till HB!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@snowjewelz: I hadn't heard of them until we got this one at the shower. Are they a 'thing'?! Haha. All I know is, it is super soft, and my dog desperately wants to get ahold of it

@FaithFertility: I have two friends who measured ahead while pregnant because of high fluid levels. Everything was fine for them - they just looked a little bigger than you might expect. Hope that's the case for you!
@snowjewelz: Happy Birthday! Definitely go out to dinner with your husband and enjoy . My birthday was last week and we went out for brunch with my daughter. It was fun, but not the same as having a nice meal without a toddler!
@winniebee: So glad you had a great ultrasound, and you look fantastic!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@BandDmommy: It's so hard to tell if he's dropped! I've always carried very high and I'm still feeling pretty short of breath, so I would say no - but my OB did say that she could feel that the head was right there during a cervical check (lovely!), so... I guess?
- I'm definitely in the lopsided belly club! There's always a butt sticking out somewhere
@theotherstark: Love the prints! Looks so cute.
@cheert16: I can't believe you lost 8 pounds!! I'm still mad at that midwife. I hope you can relax a little now and enjoy your date night!

I actually had a good appointment today! My BP was high but hadn't gotten any higher and baby passed the NST with flying colors They still want to see me twice a week with OB visits and NSTs and weekly ultrasounds - so clearly nobody thinks I'm out of the woods. Nice to have a visit with no new concerns though!
Another nice thing was that my DH was able to come with me and we got brunch afterwards. Amazing how nice it is to eat together without a toddler

@MrsF: So glad you had a good appointment, and that baby passed the NST I bet it is a relief to not have any new issues pop up!

@theotherstark: love your changing mat! Bet you can't get it in England though. I'm Always seeing stuff of HB and then realising I can't get it! What make is it?
I have my induction booked for Monday 17th November! can't belive I could potentially have her in 10 days or less. My numbers sky rocketed today so it could be sooner so I have been crazy busy unpacking as many boxes as possible and washing baby stuff today. I also packed my hospital bag finally so I'm ready apart from the nursery is currently a kitchen so that's gonna be a while before it gets ripped out and re plastered! Anyway, it's all very odd really. Got a week to buy last minute essentials hopefully.
I will start paying more attention to all your guys posts more. I have been slack at responding to you all and keeping track of everyone else. I really appreciate what a supportive group we have here. Xxx

@MrsF: That's great news!!!! I hope you make it another week at least!
@Mrs.Lilac: It's ok you have a lot going on Glad to be here for you and hope you make it those 10 days!

@snowjewelz: If you have a Central Market (grocery) near you, you might look there for Jellycats. They are significantly cheaper than Amazon. C has quite a few and we acquired most of them at Central Market. I need to stop there soon to get one for K.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsF: Yay! Glad to hear good news
@Mrs.Lilac: Ah so crazy! The last thing you need to care about is keeping up with HB lol. Just keep us updated! I can't believe you'll be meeting LO soon!!
@MamaG: Aw since I have never even heard of this grocery chain I am quite sure we don't have it! I'm debating whether to get e jellycat or a gund! There is this fuzzy gund bear that I'm eyeing too!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@Mrs.Lilac: I was just going to check in to see how you were doing!! Eek, I can't believe you have your inductions scheduled! So soon! Sounds like you have your hands full with getting things ready. Just remember, honestly, babies just need diapers, wipes, some changes of clothes, and some food (either boobs or formula). Everything else is optional and not necessary
So try not to stress too much! Although easier said than done...
The changing pad is a Keekaroo. They're pricey, but I got mine on Amazon warehouse for a pretty good bargain. I think there are some other brands that have similar products, though, so you could probably find something similar in the UK?
@snowjewelz: I had a few Gund bears when I was little - I loved them!

@Mrs.Lilac: ugh, I'm sorry. Try and take it easy.
Can you guys believe that the first December baby will be born next week???
persimmon / 1168 posts
@winniebee: looking great! Glad your boy is doing good.
Thanks for everyone's empathy on the ridiculous comments on my belly. Obviously no one knows what they are talking about, as at my appointment today the Dr said my cervix is closed. Got my group b strep test done and turned in some disability paperwork I need filled out. Looking forward to relaxing this weekend, hope all you mamas are doing as good as possible.

@theotherstark: your baby corner looks so sweet! We have a similar set up in our living room. They won't know the difference
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: Glad to hear about your awesome appointment!!
@Mrs.Lilac: Oh my gosh!!! I can't believe how soon your baby is going to be here!! Are you panicking? I would NOT be ready for only 10 days away!! Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly for you!

Is @sandy c section the 12th? I tried to go back in the thread but couldn't find the list.
honeydew / 7283 posts
@Mrs.Lilac: Sorry that your numbers were up again today. I can't believe that your induction is so soon! Don't worry about not being able to keep up with this crazy thread Glad we can be here for support!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@BandDmommy: it's the 13! I've been meaning to repost the list since we move so quickly in this thread. I'll do it tomorrow, because it posts all wonky from my iPad and I don't want to go get my computer right now ha.
persimmon / 1328 posts
@MrsF: That's great! I hope future appointments continue in the same way.
@Mrs.Lilac: Wow, that is so soon! As others have said, don't stress too much about getting a lot of things done. Baby won't know the difference as long as you have the basics covered (place to sleep, things for it to wear, food source). Good luck with everything though! We will be thinking of you.
@BandDmommy: That is crazy that our first baby is coming so soon and we will possibly have slow but steady stream of babies after that. December will be here before we know it!
pomelo / 5298 posts
@theotherstark: Maybe we should just go ahead and put the list in another thread for easier reference? If you want to throw it in the labor watch one I started or even it's own I think might be easier. There are so many of us and this one moves so quick!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Had a great birthday dinner! And I totally had dessert despite GD
But now I can't sleep bc I'm so full and so uncomfortable lol!
honeydew / 7283 posts
@snowjewelz: glad you enjoyed your dinner (and that you had dessert!) Happy Birthday!
pomelo / 5298 posts
@snowjewelz: Happy Belated Birthday and I hope the dessert was fabulous It's okay to splurge occasionally.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MamaG: I think I forgot what sugar tastes like, lol! And I never did my after dinner test since I was asleep by then haha, so win win! Although my fasting # this morning was kinda high even w/ meds... Oh well!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@MamaG: Oh, I'm glad you made a labor watch thread. Ahh, I can't believe it's already time for that!! I'll post the list there too.
@snowjewelz: So glad you had a nice birthday dinner! And you totally deserved the dessert. Sorry you felt so full afterwards, though. I know what you mean - everything gets so squished!! Our stomachs are so small at this point. Ha.

Just got back from my OB appointment and had my GBS test. And only gained ONE POUND in 4 weeks!!! Woohoo!!! My midwife offered to check my cervix, but she said since I wasn't experiencing contractions or anything, there wasn't any reason to, so I declined. And platelets are up to 74, so the prednisone is working! Next appointment is on the 24th.

y'all- I think my pregnancy hormones are raging today because I work in an orthopedic clinic and we have an 11 month old in the clinic today for a femur fracture who is currently in foster care and is blind due to shaken baby syndrome. I just cried and cried. I wish I could adopt him
