@whenoceansrise: That is one brilliant idea!! I missed the pickle train in my youth since I didn't grow up in the US!

    @snowjewelz: what is Koream kimchi?

  3. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@whenoceansrise: It's spicy fermented cabbage, a stable in korean cuisine! How are you feeling? I think 6 weeks was when the fatigue reaaaally started to hit and I fee like a useless blob all the time!

    @snowjewelz: Ooh, that sounds interesting!
I'm feeling alright. I do feel a little nauseated, but nothing too bad right now. I am tired, but that's not unusual for me. I've started not being able to sleep well at night and waking up with nasty headaches. Really excited for next week when I tell my mom!

@whenoceansrise: Oh yeah! Did you end up getting something about the baby?

@snowjewelz: I bought this gift box off etsy that is a balloon and when you pop it confetti and a note comes out- the note has an owl on it and says "guess whoose going to be a grandma" and I got her a personalized grandma tumblr. She'll be opening them in front of a lot of my family so I'm excited to see everyone's reaction!

@whenoceansrise: um I ate the rest of my mount olive hanburger chip pickles with lunch and then drank the juice from the jar. It was delicious. you can't make this stuff up!

@winniebee: @whenoceansrise: I had a virgin Bloody Mary yesterday with tons of veggies - celery, pickle spears, green olives and pickled green beans. It was so satisfying even though I thought it was going to make me sick at first. I may need to get a big jar of pickles and try some pickle juice too!

@snowjewelz: I have not been able to stomach kimchee during pregnancy. It sounds good sometimes but once I eat it I just feel awful the rest of the day.

@sandy: the wedding was fun but exhausting. I loved the blowout bar! We ended up leaving the wedding right after dinner because I was starting to get sick.

@winniebee: @whenoceansrise: have you tried pickle chips? DH brought me home some the other day. A few weeks ago I was all about pickles. I can't eat them anymore. Only thing I can eat is bland food. And I still get sick.

  16. snowjewelz

@sandy: I don't feel that great afterwards but I really crave it lol

@littlek: I've seen them, but I've never tried them. Maybe I should though!!

@whenoceansrise: @littlek: Pickle chips are amazing!!

All I want in my entire life right now are chicken tenders.

@littlek: sorry everything is making you sick. I can eat most things but it doesn't really help with the nausea like it did with my first pregnancy. I do notice the nausea is so much worse if I go too long without eating though so I force myself to eat every few hours. The only thing that actually feels good to consume right now is freezing cold sparking water

@pawprints: I'm so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself and I hope you'll get your sticky BFP soon!

You all are having some interesting cravings I haven't really wanted anything in particular so far. The only symptom I seem to have is exhaustion! I keep hoping LO will take a long nap, but no luck!

@mrsbookworm: my kiddo FINALLY took a long nap today. 2 hrs and 20 mins (long for us!) and I even laid down and took a nap myself. Hope it happens for you soon!

@littlek: I have to try these! I looked in the grocery store and couldn't find them today. I'm sorry you are getting so sick

@sandy: that Bloody Mary sounds amazing! I am very into V8 right now so I bet I would have loved it! By the way this pregnancy is going by really slowly. I have no idea what second time moms are talking about when they say the second one flies by. I guess maybe Bc I'm at home this time and last time I wasn't?

Anyone else feel like the first trimester goes by sooooooooooooo slowly???

  24. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@sandy: Ahh virgin bloody mary is my favorite! I just love tomato juice to begin with, and the spices and what not just makes is sooo delicious!

@Adira: Yep. I don't want my pregnancy to go by so fast, but I sure don't mind if 1st trimester can go a little faster! I am so done w/ not feeling well & being fearful of m/c!

DH made me a big pot of honey lemon water w/ freshly grated ginger. I've been drinking tons of that; it's really refreshing if anything!

Is anyone thinking baby names.. here are our favorites:
    Boy- Cullen and Tiernan
    Girl- Sloane and Darcy
    We already have a Brennan.

  26. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@snowjewelz: Yeah, I wouldn't mind if the first trimester just whizzed by and then the other trimesters can go slower.

@littlek: We haven't talked about it, but previously we have said we liked the names Logan (for a boy) and Kaelyn (not sure of the spelling, for a girl). We already have an Alexander (Xander).

  27. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@littlek: kind of. As you know we already have a Tyler. Last time we loved Olivia and Norah for a girl. Also like Delaney and phoebe. Last time Owen was a frontrunner for boy. I'm not in love with it anymore. We both like Jacoby. I love Sloan but it doesn't go with our last name at all lol.

I also love Gray and Cora for girls names but we can't use Gray with last name and I don't think DH would go for Cora.

If we have a girl she's gonna be Kara. For boy, DH likes Asher right now and I like Elias.

  29. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@winniebee: we never even picked out girls names since I was convinced we were having a boy.

  30. littlek

    @winniebee: Norah is very pretty!

  31. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@littlek: yeah I knew we were having a boy too! But there is always a 50% chance of being wrong haha

  32. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@winniebee: I LOVE Norah and Cora!! Two names Hubs wouldn't approve of, haha.

@snowjewelz: Do you pronounce Kara as car-ah or care-ah? I've heard it pronounced both ways. Hubs likes that name, pronounced car-ah (and I like it pronounced the other way, haha).

@littlek: I love the name Sloane!

I'm going to steal all your names.

  33. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@Adira: We always say care-ah. I don'r like car-ah... I feel like then might as well go to Cora or something

  34. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@snowjewelz: I'm with you! I don't really like car-ah, but that's how Hubs likes it!!! Him and I just can NOT agree on girl names!

  35. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@Adira: I'm really hoping to have a girl b/c we're totally undecided on boy names! My crazy OCD wanted to pick only K names for boys too, but to no avail so I finally gave up...

  36. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@snowjewelz: haha, we're the same with girl names! PLUS I want them to be all K names, haha. It'll be easier if we have a boy (name-wise), but I already have a boy, so I'm kind of hoping for a girl this time around.

I really like Sadie for a girl (and DH hasn't offered an opinion on it). Neither of us really have found boy names we like. We never picked a boy name first time around either. Our LO is Chloe.

All of the boy names I like we already have one in the family (or know someone by the same name).

    I love talking names!
Girl: India Kate (we like the nickname Indie)
    Boy: Olin Samuel

Also, for dinner last night I had: 3 pickles, a glass of pickle juice, and two pancakes.
