I keep thinking I want to be more active on this board but I am so exhausted all I can do is read!

I am obssessed with baby names! I like Miles and Khalil for boys names, we think it is a girl though. I like Anya and Nola a lot, although I'm keeping my favorite secret for a little while. We also have a hard time agreeing...wondering how 2nd time moms narrowed it down?
@snowjewelz: cara (care-ah) is my moms name so I love it! With a K makes it more unique I think but also maybe more likely to be pronounced car-ah??
@winniebee Delaney is great! I also have Delancey on my list...
@littlek I love Darcy!!! Ialso like Cullen, it would sound good with Brennan
@mamag Sadie is adorable especially with Chloe
@whenoceansrise indie is a cute nickname! My family is really into nicknames so that's important to me!

We're a little bummed, because they names that we've had in mind forever (like, before we got married, haha) are now super popular. Since neither of us want names that are that popular, I think we're going to have to scrap them Jackson and Abigail were our top two.
I really love Cora and Violet for girls, but I'm worried even those two are increasing in popularity. Unfortunately, I tend to like the older, more Victorian-esque names, which are now coming back in popularity. So we'll see. We actually have way more boy names than girls at this point.

Woah I feel way behind. We haven't even thought of baby names yet. Also, I don't have to get up 50 million times to pee at night. lol
I can't wait for the end of next month to get out of the 1st trimester.

@theotherstark: I've always loved the name olivia but it's far too popular right now for us. We also are straying away from the popular/trendy names. I like Violet!

@magnolia: I love Miles and Nola so much!!
We really like both Etta and Natalie for a girl. For a boy, we both LOVE Henry. It's just soooo popular. We're pretty torn on it. We also like Graham.

@AngelicOne: @MRSJX3: I don't get up a million times either! I've been wondering if there is something wrong with me. Ha.
@whenoceansrise: It's so hard finding names that aren't super popular that we like!

@AngelicOne: @MRSJX3: @theotherstark: I usually only get up once to pee (and sometimes none)! But I think I've always had a pathetic bladder (especially since having baby #1)!

@Adira: I've heard that after you have a baby your bladder is changed forever!!

Oh man, I shall do mt kegels!
I get up once or twice to pee at night now, not sure if it's b/c I'm drinking more tho...

@MRSJX3: @theotherstark: @Adira: Okay I don't feel so bad now. I usually get up once between 12am-3am and am good for the rest of the night.
I shouldn't say we've never talked about names, we decided no super popular (i.e. don't want 10 Jennifers in the class) & there will be no Jrs. lol

@whenoceansrise: indi is such a cute name. I love indigo with indi for short but hubs says no.
@magnolia: I love Anya. So pretty.
We have our girl name sorted. It's Lila which I think is quite popular in America but I have never heard of or met anyone in England with it and that's saying something considering I'm a substitute teacher! Lol. Boys are so much harder. I like Jonah but don't like the nickname Jo and DH likes Jenson and Denton. No idea what we will go for. Not loving any if I'm honest. We say down for hours the other night going though a million boys names!

Ok, so my sisters and mum showed really early in their pregnancies and it looks like I'm taking after them. I mentioned the other day I had to buy maternity jeans (which as AMAZING). Well today I wore a slightly tight dress to work and had a fair few comments from colleagues. I look pregnant apparently! For all they know I could just be fat but I was pretty slim before. I'm scared but here is my picture... I'm into my 8th week (or 9th if you believe my doctor) of course it could all go down on a few weeks! Lol

@Mrs.Lilac: Yeah your co-workers are going to be wondering soon!
I'm only 6 weeks and am huge already, like how I looked at 4 months last time.

@Mrs.Lilac: Cute bump!
I feel like my "bump" is misleading because I was overweight to begin with and never really lost the "baby pooch" I had from pregnancy #1.

@Adira: Its insane to me, because I lost all the weight plus a few more lbs and then immediately after BFP my uterus popped out and it's gotten more and more pronounced. I'm sure the bagel bites for lunch 3x a week isn't helping....

@winniebee: when you say bagel bites, are you taking about pizza on a bagel? because when pizza is on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@winniebee: I almost bought those today at lunch. I love bagels right now.

Great. I soon will have a meal consisting bagel bites & pickles!

@whenoceansrise: @AngelicOne: @Adira: thanks ladies. Feel like I'm gonna be a whale by 40 weeks though!!!
@winniebee: I had to tie a jumper around my waist at work as I was so conscious of it. Definitely getting some sideways glances!
Those bagel bites look amazing! We don't have them in England I don't think. We are not big on bagels in general but I may have to make some.
I made some healthy 'pizzas' the other day that were sooooo good. Served them with chicken breast. Thought I would share

Oh, I added a load of fresh garlic to the marinara sauce and it was extra delicious. X

@Mrs.Lilac: Lila is sweet, I have a friend named Laila amd have always loved her name
I am still pretty flat, just looking a little bloated at night. I want to wait as long as possible to tell people so I am ok with it, but definitely have a little bump envy! My boss is 22 weeks and she looks so cute
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@winniebee: That's crazy! I think because I was overweight to start, mine just looks and feels like bloating. I can't wait to get further along and have the real bump!

Had our u/s today and everything looks good! 180 bpm and only one baby! The baby is so much bigger than with LO (I think hers was at 7 weeks) and dancing around and already sucking it's thumb! I could see it's little eyes sparkling/blinking. It definitely made me feel better about all the nausea. Measuring right on track at 8 weeks 6 days

Hi Dec mamas. Had an ultrasound today at 4 weeks based on o day and only saw the sac. Made me feel better to have actually seen something in there. No preggo symptoms yet. Going back to meet with the doc next week.

@sandy: Glad everything went okay. Sucking it's thumb? How sweet!
I told my best friend today & swore her to secrecy. Felt good to tell someone finally.

@AngelicOne: we saw LO sucking her thumb at like 20 weeks but I had no idea it started so early!

@sandy: Yay!!! Gorgeous u/s picture!!! So glad everything's looking good!
@babypie: I didn't have any symptoms (besides bloating) until 6 weeks! And seeing the sac is great!!
@busylizzy111: Oh no!! Sending you and the baby good sticky thoughts!!!
