@whenoceansrise: glad it was a great trip!
@theotherstark: @mrsbookworm: hang in there ladies! Sorry the nausea has been so rough! I think we're all struggling to get through this first trimester. Hope you get some relief soon! I'm 11 weeks and am finally starting to feel like it's getting better so that gives me hope the nausea will end soon
@winniebee: so excited for your NT scan!!! I love being able to see the baby dancing around in there
@littlek: I need to get a maternity swimsuit. I am definitely getting a two piece bc I absolutely hate anything tight around my middle right now.

@winniebee: I'm tempted to go to Target and peek at the girls section... Just to see...

So my friend gave me a prenatal yoga DVD and I don't know if it's coincidence but my nausea is way better. The stretches feel so good! I've done it a few days and on the days where I don't get to it in the morning I just do some of the stretches and poses. I feel like it helps a lot bc my nausea had improved a lot!

Last night, I got up from the couch and had an instant sharp stabbing pain in pelvis on the left side. It went away but was certainly alarming. Unfortunately, it seemed to result in horrible dreams of miscarriage. I hate the subconscious sometimes. I had a similar dream the night before my appointment last week too. It was triggered by me realizing as I settled into bed for the night that it was the first day in weeks that I didn't feel sick.
I'll be glad when the next couple of weeks are behind me and I can feel more confident about this baby.

@MamaG: That could be your region starting to change and shift to prep for the growing baby? The other day I would have sharp pains in my right pelvic area whenever I walk and put pressure on my right foot. Then it just went away the next day!

Today I am officially 12 weeks! That means... 10 days until the first trimester is over. Wow. Time is flying!! I definitely have a bump now, and am starting to feel a little better, though dinner time is always rough and I'm still exhausted and in bed by 9pm. Haven't been too active here because I've been feeling pretty lousy.. but I'm excited to start my bump-dates this week!
@sandy: Which prenatal yoga dvd is it?? I love yoga, but the only class at my gym that I actually enjoyed is much too difficult for a pregnant person.. Definitely looking to get a dvd for home though

I woke up this morning realizing I actually felt pretty good all day long yesterday. No sickness or anything, so hope it stays this way for a bit.
@winniebee: The high school I graduated from is in Portland. I didn't like the cold weather, but it was nice other than that.

I haven't been active much for a few reasons. 1. I haven't had much to report. Feeling relatively good I guess, which is very similiar to how I felt with DD. 2. As much as I want to read and respond, my little one has been keeping me incredibly busy these days. I thought I could catch up when she naps...but as I type this she is up early and crying. So I'll just do the state call.

Oh right I finally have my first appointment tomorrow, may 15. I have had problems with insurance and with individuals in powerful positions not doing their job. Today I received two separate phone calls from the hospital and Drs office apologizing. Of course DH is out of town on business and won't be there. Oh well.

@missybear: it's Prenatal Yoga with Desi Bartlett. I tried some yoga videos on YouTube and hated them...maybe bc I'm a yoga newbie but this was is easy to follow and not super annoying. And I feel like all the stretches/poses help soooo much. I like it and my friend loved it and did it through her delivery date

@winniebee: So cute!
I've been trying on outfits for a family reunion-type thing I have to go to on Saturday and can't decide between the pants that make me look kind of chubby and the ones that make me look definitely pregnant. I hate this stage!

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been absent! I got a horrible cold and have been sleeping as much as possible!
I have my first appointment with the midwife tonight! From what I remember last time around, she will try to listen to the heartbeat via doppler, but I'm only 9 weeks and last time I had an anterior placenta and we couldn't hear anything, so I'm expecting more of the same. I'm also curious about going over the results of my lab work, because they've added a couple new tests since I was pregnant last time around and one of them is to determine my chances of getting GD, so I'm nervous about that one! I hope I don't have to change my diet!!

Hope everyone is feeling better! Lo is taking an unheard of 2 hour nap which is wonderful! I had my first ultrasound and appointment. Baby is measuring on time and they saw a heartbeat. Very reassuring.
Anyone have exciting weekend plans? I think we might take lo to the Philadelphia zoo. ..

EDD: December 22,2014
When Did You Find Out?: beginning of April
Child Number: 3
Where do you live?: NJ
What kind of provider will you see?: midwives (same as my last pregnancy)
When's Your First Appointment?: well my next is 5/28
What kind of birth do you want?: A healthy one! But I'm hoping for a waterbirth
What You're Most Excited For: to see if it's a boy or a girl!
What You're Most Scared About: Omg 3 kids under 3!
Symptoms so far: I have hyperemesis gravidarium, so my symptoms are severe. I am on a continuous zofran pump and take Reglan four times a day. I'm still nauseous most of the time but at least I'm able to eat again. I've had 2 ER trips and one hospital admission so far so I just want things to head towards a healthy pregnancy!
Post a picture... any picture! - - I'm mobile... How do I add a pic while mobile? Lol

@Shimmer: Welcome! Oh my goodness, is what you're going through just for this pregnancy or for the last two also? I hope it will get better soon!
kiwi / 553 posts
@snowjewelz: thank you! I had HG with my last (twin) pregnancy but it was milder then. I only took zofran orally for 28 weeks last time!
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Shimmer: I can't even imagine! And I can't believe you'll have 3 under 3! How do you feel? Do you think it's true that going from 2-3 will not be as bad?
kiwi / 553 posts
@snowjewelz: that's the one thing that I'm terrified about haha. I have 21 month old twins who will be 2.5 when the baby comes... I'm hoping it's not too horrible but I wanted them close in age, so my wish was granted! I went from 0-2 so I don't know what it's like to add only one baby. Lol
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Shimmer: Ohh that's awesome! Love that you have twins! If you can go from 0-2 then you're all set

@adira I hope your appointment goes well!!
@mrsbookworm Glad your appointment went well!
I saw perinatal doc yesterday and they did an u/s. Baby looks big and was flipping around! The doc reassured me that my genetic screen results probably are unrelated to previous m/c and that everything is pointing to a healthy pregnancy. She also took me off Lovenox so I am happy not to have to stick myself every night.
My weekend plans include.... just sleeping. I am so tired!!!
