Hope everyone with MS starts feeling better soon. My nausea/queasiness is back with a vengence today. Making a PB&J for lunch almost made me sick & it's my go to when nothing else sounds good.

I have my next 3 appts scheduled already. Next is:
    ***6/16 checkup w/RN
    ***7/7 for gender u/s
    ***8/4 checkup w/OB

@Mrs.Lilac: OMG! I wouldn't let anyone this early!!! Your uterus is still pretty low so all they are really feeling is just your stomach! I'd be all "Um, only if I can feel your fat too." haha. Though I'm overweight to start, so my bump really IS all fat. Maybe yours is better, haha.

@snowjewelz: Ha, I think I'm weird - it doesn't really bother me. Well, I'm sure it would if random strangers were doing it, but close friends and family can go right ahead. Although let's see how I feel later on But the way I see it, it's just them wanting to be close to the baby.

@sandy: Oh, the scratching thing is weird!! Ha! So great you could hear the heartbeat with the doppler. That's so exciting!

@winniebee: Ha, seriously! The waiting is one big con of testing so early You'll get there soon enough!

@cheert16: @allison: @whenoceansrise: @snowjewelz: I guess I'm the odd man out - eggs don't really bother me right now. Which is funny because they always sort of grossed me out prior to being pregnant. But now, most meat doesn't appeal to me, so I've been trying to eat eggs to get my protein.

@allison: Heh, yeah, mine is mostly just bloat at this point. Ah, oh well. And yes, pants are my enemy!!

@AngelicOne: @sandy: I can't believe anatomy scans are already being scheduled. Eek! Coming up soon. I can't wait to get ours on the books.

@FaithFertility: Haha ummmm.... That would creep me out too.

@magnolia: Yep, it's no fun!! Hopefully we're both feeling better by the end of this week

@theotherstark: That's very nice of you I think I would let my family touch and maybe my BFF, that's about it haha. I'm sure a ton other people will end up just touching it later on and I'd be too nice to say anything!

I am so sad b/c I love cheese and cheese is not cutting it for me lately.. I actually moved away from my greasy food craving, and actually want fruits! Go figure!

@magnolia: Thank you!! I've been really sick for about a week or two. It started during week six but got really bad at week eight.

All I want today is a sub sandwhich. Anyone following this no deli meat unless heated rule?

  12. magnolia

    persimmon / 1168 posts

@whenoceansrise: I "accidently" had a turkey sub that a friend brought over. It was from a really clean deli. I was fine. I did feel guilty after though.

@snowjewelz: all I want to eat is cheese! Good for you and bb for the fruit though!!

@whenoceansrise: Ive been doing veggie subs to get my fix. But what I wouldn't give for an Italian sub with lots of pickles...

  15. whenoceansrise

    nectarine / 2053 posts

@magnolia: I've heard that some doctors say it's okay. I guess it's just a personal choice! Don't feel too guilty!

@winniebee: omg that italian sub sounds sooooooo delicious right now!

@whenoceansrise: I totally forgot I was pregnant and ate a ham sandwich on Monday. And I brought one to work today for lunch too. I didn't at all for LO #1.

  17. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@cheert16: I did that too a couple weeks ago! It was right before my first OB appointment too and then I got the lecture about lunch meats. Oops.

  18. cheert16

    nectarine / 2631 posts

@Adira: My first appt is tomorrow. (it got rescheduled from Monday) I am sure I will feel bad about it when I get the lecture tomorrow!!

  19. AngelicOne

    persimmon / 1050 posts

@whenoceansrise: @winniebee: @cheert16: @Adira: My Dr actually told me lunch meat is fine so I had a turkey sub from Subway on Sat and it was sooo good.

@theotherstark: Mine wanted to book the next 3 appts so that worked for me so I didn't have to remember what was due when. I did the Harmony test on Mon so I should know the gender in about 2 weeks if everything worked correctly.

@AngelicOne: Oh really? I was told it's fine as long as it's heated first to kill any bacteria!

@aegie: Yay!!! Glad to hear you had a good appointment!

OMG, I've had to go to the bathroom ever 45 minutes!!!! My bladder is useless today!

  23. cheert16

Today I bought myself two new maternity dresses- some maternity capris a couple shirts, and a couple pairs of leggings. Being pregnant in the opposite season as the first is not great on my wallet.

    @Adira: I went 6x last night

I keep craving tuna salad with diced celery. Weird but it tastes so good!

  25. winniebee

@cheert16: ugh I know. I had to get some summer stuff too as I had a may baby last time.

@winniebee: I had an april baby so we are in the same boat!

    @aegie: yay!

@AngelicOne: that is so freaking exciting! I would love to know if baby is a boy/girl so early! Do you have a feeling whether it's a boy or girl?

@Adira: @winniebee: ummm, that is no fun. I probably have to go every 2 hours and am always making sure I know where the bathroom is when we get to a park or playground. On a good night I only get up once but it's usually twice

@winniebee: I'm craving vinegar flavored stuff - like salt and vinegar chips and pasta salad with Italian dressing or a vinaigrette dressing. I had a strong craving for chex mix last week and have eaten 2 bags - sooo good! And today I had to have a bag of chips ahoy cookies... I never buy them but I had to have them during my target run today

  28. AngelicOne

@sandy: I had a dream not too long about having a girl, so hopefully it's a girl. All of the kids in our families are boys, so we want a girl.

  29. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@sandy: yummm. i had salt n vinegar chips with my tuna sandwich....and a choc chip cookie for dessert (leftover from my son's bday party). My stomach feels so much better than it did a few weeks ago and I'm embracing it!

  30. sandy

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@AngelicOne: how fun! I never had any dreams but I wanted a girl so badly and was so happy when I found out LO was a girl. The one dream I had was so weird - like if the machine showed an apple is meant boy and if it showed a strawberry it meant. In my dream the machine showed a fish and the doctor was like I have no idea what that means. That dream freaked me out. When my friend was pregnant with her twin girls she had a dream she gave birth to a littler of kittens

@snowjewelz: We'll see how I feel later in pregnancy Oh, and I've been craving fruit so much lately! I forced my husband to stop by the store and get quesadilla fixings and peaches last night. Lots and lots of peaches.

@whenoceansrise: I really don't eat much deli meat anyway, so this hasn't really come up. I think I probably will continue to try to avoid it, but I imagine it's fine in moderation

@AngelicOne: Oh, that's awesome that you'll be finding out early!! Eeeek I can't wait to hear what it is!!!!

@aegie: So glad the scan went well!

@Adira: @winniebee: I feel like a failure of a pregnant lady - I really haven't been going to the bathroom that much more frequently?? Weird.

@cheert16: I'm hoping to do some maternity clothes shopping this weekend!

I am not craving anything specifically right now (although @winniebee: 's post totally made me want tuna salad with chopped celery!!), but all I want is bland stuff lately. Crappy mac and cheese, quesadillas, etc. Fruit always sounds good, too. I usually I have the biggest sweet tooth ever, but I just can't bring myself to even think about candy or sweets.

  33. sandy

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@winniebee: that's awesome you are feeling better!!! It's so nice not feeling sick all the time!

  34. snowjewelz

Ooo I gotta ask my OB about deli meats! Not that I feel like it right now, but downing an Italian combo later on sounds sooo gooood.

So I finally caved and went home early from work. Nausea + allergy sinus headache do not make a good combo I gotta muster up energy to get my butt up for the NT scan still!

@sandy: You just made me want salt & vinegar chips! YUM.

I ate a box of Annie's cheddar bunnies yesterday. So healthy. And then I felt like crap afterward (shockingly enough). Today I have eaten about 7 chocolate chip cookies. This isn't going well!

@theotherstark: I do love fruit, too! I bought a bunch of mangoes when they were on sale last week, and they won't hurry up and ripen!

@littlek: how are you feeling? Any relief from the nausea? Hope you're feeling a little better

  37. AngelicOne

    persimmon / 1050 posts

@sandy: That is too funny. My dream was them actually just calling me telling me it's a girl.

@theotherstark: Knowing my luck, they'll call with the results while I'm on the plane or something. lol I'll definitely update once I know.

  38. AngelicOne

@Adira: Yeah I was surprised my OB said lunch meat & Feta cheese was okay. Said to stay away from the prepackaged lunch meat, but most places don't use that stuff. Usually lunch meat doesn't sound good, so I haven't eaten it but that one time though.

@aegie: yay! sounds like a great scan

@winniebee: I hear you on embracing feeling better! I'm still sick in the morning but feeling a lot better for the rest of the day. I'm worried I'm going to gain back all the weight that I've lost with my m/s in a matter of days!

  40. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@AngelicOne: That's interesting! I HAVE heard that most soft cheeses are actually okay because they are pasteurized and it's really the unpasteurized stuff we have to avoid, but I'm paranoid so I just avoid it anyway. Though I really miss Greek salads!!!
