@Adira: I am thinking someone is going to notice soon- or maybe just think I am gaining back all the weight I lost before I got KU! HAHAHAHA!! Perfect!!

I am having my NT scan on Friday!!! Cant wait to see my lil bean again! Have only known I am pregnant for 3 weeks and have had a ultrasound each week!

@cheert16: I swear, two women in my office were checking out my stomach today!! I totally wore the wrong shirt to work!

Jealous of your NT scan! Mine is next Friday, so I'm not far behind you!! Have fun seeing your little bean again!

@winniebee: thanks! still smiling and it was hours ago now!

sorry you have to wait 2 more weeks. I know how killer it is, especially when everyone on here is getting so many scans! It will be so worth the wait though. It is the most incredible thing so see the little one moving around and jumping around. I wish i had asked to record the screen.

@Mrs.Lilac: Yes! The NT scan is going to be pretty crazy this time! Last pregnancy I had an u/s at 10w and the NT at 12w and the difference wasn't crazy. This time though all I saw was a tiny bean and tiny flicker at 6w so to actually see the baby moving and flipping in a few weeks will be crazy!

I had my NT scan today and everything looked great. Baby was active and moving all around. Heartrate was in the 140s which is the lowest I've heard...LO was always in the 160s so I'm already guessing this baby is a boy . Just happy everything looked good and healthy

Back from my NT scan. Baby didn't want to cooperate at times, but was definitely moving around quite a bit. HB was 165 and everything else looked good.

Had the NT scan yesterday. All was well. Measuring right on target with a strong heartbeat.

Sorry I have been MIA we went on vacation and upon retiring I have been dealing with a 15 month old with an ear infection. I need to get caught up.

Lots of beautiful, great scans!! Love them

We weren't able to get a good profile shot - the person who did my NT scan said that my uterus was tipped back so it was a little tricky getting good profile shots of him/her. So I am living vicariously through all of your sweet profile shots

@theotherstark: Agree, many beautiful babies & scans! Mine almost didn't cooperate either during NT scan! The tech told me to cough a few times to see if the baby would move. Thankfully they got what they needed!

    pomegranate / 3045 posts

@snowjewelz: Ha! Yeah, I was just happy that the tech was able to get all the measurements, etc. that she needed, and to see the babe moving around a ton. Worth it, even though I didn't get a super cute profile shot I actually was hoping to get a good nub shot!

@theotherstark: I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do this again too.. She was pressing SO hard on my abdomen, it was almost worst than poking me vaginally! Don't worry, you always have the next appointment coming up! I really need to get a scrapbook or something, all the scan pics are just all over the fridge right now!

Girls, my bladder is out of control! I've had to go to the bathroom every 20 minutes for the last three hours!!!

Hooray for good appointments and cute pics. Seems like there were a lot of us in the past few days

@snowjewelz I really got jabbed yesterday too! It was intense and she didn't warn me at all. The u/s tech just seemed kind of mean! She didn't even give me a print out of pics. All the other ones I have met were really sweet. But more importantly baby is looking great and NT measurement normal.

@adira I hear you. I drink a lot of water and always get up 2x a night. So annoying!

  35. theotherstark

    pomegranate / 3045 posts

@snowjewelz: Omg, mine was SO ROUGH! Haha. Although it was my first abdominal, so maybe I just wasn't used to it. But she said my uterus is tilted back so it was a little harder to get shots - she was pushing SO hard, and then like, kind of hit it a few times. I was like, um, are you hurting the baby? Haha. She actually ended up doing a transvaginal too, because the abdominal wasn't giving her the shots she needed. Yeesh.

@Adira: @magnolia: This is one pregnancy symptom I haven't really experienced yet. Good, I guess?

@cram88: I'm glad to hear of someone else doing Panorama and getting results. My first results were not sufficient, so we just repeated the test yesterday. The waiting game is painful. Congrats on boy #2.

@theotherstark: Oh no! Haha I'd be like ah what are you doing?!

Lots of great updates and scans. Excellent updates ladies!

I've been absent. We were at the beach for a week and it was glorious. Coming home has been challenging. Unfortunately as wonderful as the beach was, me and the toddler both ended up sick. Pink eye for both of us and an added ear infection for her. The worst was a virus on top of it for the toddler two days after returning home. She was down with a fever and vomitting. She's at home yet today recovering but we are starting to be closer to normal.

As I mentioned above, I had to repeat my Panorama test yesterday. The nurse said they see at least 1 per week come back with insufficient fetal information to yield results. For the repeat they also took a cheek swab on my husband. This makes the results more meaningful, apparently. I should have results in two weeks. I'm very anxious as we aren't doing the NT scan.

Being in the 2nd trimester has been an improvement. Nausea is essentially gone. I'm struggling with making sure I'm drinking enough water everyday though.

@MamaG: what a pain to have to repeat the test. i hope the next few weeks fly by for you. And sick kiddo? Ugh. Hope you are all better soon.

@winniebee: I've been blessed with a kiddo that's pretty healthy. We deal with annoying seasonal allergies and lots of colds/congestion. But we don't really deal wtih fevers and stomach issues. So when they do hit us, we are very overwhelmed. We were just commenting on this Monday and then Tuesday, there was all of the yuckiness. Apparently, we aren't supposed to talk about these things. Just like good infant sleep

I think my DH got the short end of the stick in the Panorama. he had to rub his cheek for a full 60 seconds with the swab. I just had to give up two vials of blood.
