@MamaG: I was really nervous about that happening, I'm sorry it happened to you Hope the new one comes back quickly! I'm not enjoying the fact that it replaces the nt scan, last ultrasound was around 9 weeks and my next one is at 18. These 9 weeks are dragging! But I am happy to know I'm low risk to everything, especially the specific deletion we did the test for!

@sandy: your picture is amazing! So clear. I got my photos for free because the tech said they were such bad quality. Yours is fab though!

@genarator: your picture is great too! So exciting seeing all these amazing pictures!

Glad to hear that people are starting to feel a bit better. I'm really looking forward to a happy healthy tri 2 for us all!

Ugh, I thought I was feeling better, but now I seem to have pretty bad indigestion every time after eating! Or I just feel super bloated/uncomfortable. I guess it's better than nausea, but I was hoping to feel more like my old self... Guess that's never happening?!

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@snowjewelz: haha pretty much no. But your nausea should be gone soon!

I think I'm feeling better? 10+5 and definitely not as nauseous the past few days. Hungry like hell and sleeping poorly but I suspect that will last the long haul.

This board has been a bit quiet!! Hopefully everyone is doing okay, and perhaps feeling a bit better. Overall I'm feeling better, although I'm still throwing up in the mornings. Really, really hoping it goes away soon!

In other news, a woman offered me her seat on the train this morning, so apparently I look pregnant?? Haha

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@theotherstark: I can't believe you're still throwing up! It's gotta get better soon! I'm trying to figure out how much I need to eat to not get such bad indigestion/heartburn/uncomfortable-ness!

I def have a bump depending on what I wear now, and I kind of don't care about hiding it anymore since I'll be 13 weeks on Wed and my appt is on Fri. Since it's summer, I also decided I'll stop wearing pants haha.

I love seeing everyone's U/S / NT photos since I won't have my first Ultrasound till 20 weeks - July 14th!! So it gives me something to compare to at least. Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Sorry for all those still going through M/S! I've been lucky in that I haven't had any, but at the same time its hard because I don't 'feel' pregnant at all! My only symptom has been nose bleeds!

  9. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@josina: Oo I just read something in my ovia app about nose bleeds! It's great that you don't have to suffer from m/s!

@theotherstark: Yikes! Sorry to hear you're still throwing up!! I think I'm finally over being nauseous all the time!

My BFF told me I looked pregnant, so... yep, definitely showing!

And my NT scan is FRIDAY!!!!! So excited!!

Hi ladies, hope you are all well. I have had the worst day...

My husband has been admitted into hospital! I just left him there now. He has had pins and needles in his feet since Wednesday and last night it spread up both his legs and (sorry for tmi) but during us doing the dance, he lost all feeling and sensation and it totally freaked us out. Anyway he has been in hospital all day having tests and is now having to stay over night and is getting a cat scan tomorrow. It's all a bit weird really and no one seems to know what's going on. As soon as they heard about his lack of feeling during sex, they started to get worried as that is obviously not normal. He sent me home as I was so tired at the hospital and he didn't want me around all the sick people but I'm really concerned. Hopefully we will get some answers tomorrow. Wish us luck!

@Mrs.Lilac: I am so sorry to hear that! I really hope they figure out what's going on soon and that it's nothing serious! Don't stress! It will make him more worried. Hang in there!!

I'm 14 weeks today and definitely feeling better. I'm still throwing up some mornings (coming downstairs yesterday and seeing that the dog had thrown up three times didn't help) but I can deal with it as long as it's not all day anymore. I definitely "bumped" out a bit more over the weekend. This is my first day wearing legit maternity clothes so I'm trying to embrace it! Hope everyone is doing well. Keep the updates and beautiful u/s pictures coming!

@Mrs.Lilac: Oh no!! I'm so sorry you guys are dealing with that! I really hope it's nothing too serious and they figure it out soon!!

@MrsF: Maternity clothes are the best! I'm wearing all maternity clothes today and I feel so comfortable!!

I must be in the minority but the second I hit 12 weeks all my pregnancy symptoms disappeared. no more peeing in the middle of the night. No ms. No nothing. It's to the point where I feel like I'm constantly worrying about whether I might have miscarried because I'm constantly comparing this one with my first pregnancy.

I'm 13 weeks and 4 days today and still throwing up multiple times a day. Had NT scan today. Heartbeat 160 and here's a pic....

@littlek: Cute scan!! I hope you feel better soon!

@MrsF: One of the things that made me the most sick was my dog's food (she eats wet food). Bleeeh!

@aegie: Aww. I totally understand the cause for worry, but at the same time that's great! My m/s pretty much went away around 12 weeks too, but now I have super bad indigestion.

  19. sandy

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@Mrs.Lilac: oh no! Hope he's okay!!!

@MrsF: agree that getting sick a few times is a huge improvement over all day nausea!

@littlek: cute baby photo!!! Sorry you're still getting sick though. I'm guessing girl for you based on heart rate and how sick you've been

@aegie: don't stress! My friend just found out she's 10 weeks pregnant and she has zero symptoms (she was NTNP) but totally healthy pregnancy.

I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow and I'm doing so much better. The all day nausea is gone and I just get sick 1-2 times a day but I'll take it over feeling sick all day. I still have a lot of food aversions and eat a lot bland food. My friends were making fun of me for ordering cheese pizza and fries for dinner - I have the palate of a toddler most of the time

@theotherstark: I have been wondering when people start offering subway seats in general. I'm just gonna start rubbing my hand on my bump and making a sad face when I'm desperate hope your nausea gets better soon

@Mrs.Lilac: that sounds so scary! Sending positive thoughts your way

Glad some mamas are feeling better. I am officially in the 2nd trimester today at 13+3. I have a little more energy, less nauseous, but I constantly thirsty and am easily irritable. Also constantly sore, giant boobs. Sorry if that's tmi!!

Keep those cute u/s pics coming!

@snowjewelz: Ha, I am foolishly still trying to squeeze into my pants. I really should just switch to dresses at this point.

@josina: Yikes - sorry about the nose bleeds! That sounds miserable.

@Mrs.Lilac: Aww, I am so sorry to hear about your husband! That is so scary. I hope everything is okay and they can pinpoint a cause. Will keep you guys in my thoughts!

@MrsF: Yep, I'll take the throwing up in the morning if it means no more all-day nausea!

@aegie: I'm sure everything is fine. Embrace the lack of m/s!!!

@littlek: Aww!! So cute. I'm sorry you're feeling poorly still too. It has to go away soon, right??

@magnolia: Ha. It was really nice, because I've been feeling so crappy in the morning that I really just need to sit down. Oh, and my boobs are still giant and sore too!

Thanks for all the lovely comments re my husband. My boss sent me home this morning so I could be with him at hospital where I was all day. He has had MRI scans and multiple tests but they haven't found out why he is numb. They are keeping him in for more tests. It's a waiting game I guess.

I didn't look after myself to well today it seems as when I got the underground (subway) home, I fainted! Don't know why. It was pretty hot down there but luckily someone managed to catch me. I woke up on the floor surround by people. I was very confused and cut my arm on the way down but I'm fine now. I have just got home. I need to remember to drink and eats lots tomorrow when I go back to the hospital. It's all drama over there I swear! Lol

Littlek that scan picture is adorable!

@aegie: My m/s is gone too (12 weeks today), but I'm still peeing in the middle of the night. But 12 weeks I think is when your uterus starts to move up, so there'd be less pressure on your bladder, so it makes sense you might not have to pee as often!

    @littlek: Gorgeous photo!!!

@Mrs.Lilac: Yikes!!! So sorry to hear about your feinting spell! That's so scary!! I've heard that more common with pregnant ladies though. Hope you're feeling better now. And hope you get some news on your husband soon!!

  25. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@Adira: Is that why I have such bad indigestion? B/c my uterus is moving up and crowding my stomach?!

  26. sandy

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@Mrs.Lilac: so glad someone was there to catch you! Take care of yourself! Hope you have some answers soon for your DH

@snowjewelz: I used to get such bad indigestion after dinner. Dinner has always been the biggest meal for me but I had to basically retrain myself to have a snack in the early evening and not much for dinner. So I have lunch around 12:30, snack around 3:30 - 4:30 (usually fruit and half a bagel) and a tiny dinner at 6:00. If I eat a normal sized dinner I am so sick all night and feel awful. I think my stomach just gets to full at the end of the day. I never has this issue with my first pregnancy

  27. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@sandy: Everyone says they feel this way more towards the end of the pregnancy so I feel odd that I'm like this at the end of 1st trimester! I did read an app about the lessen ability to digest some kinds of food so maybe that's it.. I just keep forgetting that I can't eat as much anymore!

O my goodness, all of the pictures are awesome! I have been super invisible on here as of late, I have been hiding away waiting for my nausea to go away... Im 11 weeks, so here is hoping the light at the end of the tunnel is nearing.

I got to hear a heartbeat! My OB was explaining that 10 weeks is pretty early and not to freak out if it took her some time to find it, and if she cant find it she will whisk me into US to take a peak. Then, almost the moment she set the Doppler on my belly, i heard that familiar, beautiful whishing noise!! It was so awesome! My OB was like... "OR we will hear it right away!" Haha! It made the nausea a little more tolerable!!

So my next appt is on Friday the 13th... oi, i didn't think that one through very well. I'm going to Maternal Fetal Medicine to have a Harmony Screening done and possibly an ultrasound too... i will be 12+weeks and am excited, iv never had a 12 week us, so I'm excited to see what little P is up to in there! And very hopeful that all will come out perfect on the screening.

    Keep those beautiful pictures coming!!

@snowjewelz: Probably!! I had the WORST heartburn last time around because of that! And the second Xander was born - poof! No more heartburn!

@Brawly: Awesome about hearing the heartbeat right away!!! Last time around, my OB tried at 9 weeks and we didn't hear anything and it made me so nervous until I had my NT scan 4 weeks later!

Thanks again ladies. I'm totally fine today. Heading to spend the day at the hospital again which won't be fun but never mind.

Snowjewelz - I have been getting really bad indigestion too and I presume heartburn (not sure if that's what it is but it's in my windpipe more?!). I get it bad if I eat bread and after large meals. Makes me scared for when im really big!

@sandy - makes more sense to eat little and often. Gonna have to start doing that more often. I keep eating these big meals and then being miserable after. Doh!

@whenoceansrise: great pictures! Glad everything went well. Seeing the heartbeat is amazing. My scanner guy turned on the colour bit so you could see red blood going in and blue coming out (or maybe vice versa). Pretty special.

Hey everyone! I'm so jealous of all the NT scan pics! I'm not going to see ours for another 2 weeks I'm basically not hiding that I'm pregnant and if anything happens people can just be sympathetic. I'm enormous for 11 weeks so it's pretty much impossible to hide now. Otherwise, we plan to allow our parents to tell other people and I'll tell friends etc after my checkup next week when we are hopefully going to hear the HB. No announcements on social media or anything until we find out the gender though. I feel really good now other than being really hungry, the nausea is all gone. Yahooooo!
