    @winniebee: I was there too! I JUST started sleeping through the past two nights, so I was 12w5d the first night I slept through! I hope the same will be true for you soon!

    @whenoceansrise: yay! there is light at the end of the tunnel! I really didn't believe it, but I really did wake up & feel better one day!

    I still have pretty bad indigestion though, OB says it's normal and just to pop some tums, but I really hate tums

    @snowjewelz: It's interesting how doctors all have different opinions! I had horrible indigestion with my first and ended up on a prescription as we worked through the progression of OTC drugs first. My doctor told me not to bother with TUMS, they were as effective as popping candy I hope the TUMS work for you, but if not push your doctor to give you another course of action.

    @winniebee: 12 weeks! Yippee! I feel you on the bathroom during the night. I'm still up at least once every night at 15 weeks. And I fully expect this to continue.

    I'm really anxious to find out gender of this little one. My daughter is firmly in the "sister" camp. When I tell her she might have a brother she is very adamanat that she's getting a sister. She's taken to snuggling with the baby and kissing my tummy. The other night she requested I snuggle with her tummy/babies. She told me she had two babies in her tummy.

    It's been fun sharing with her so far. I found a newborn diaper in my OB pack yesterday and took it out to show her size. She wanted to go put it on her doll right away. I hope she's a great big sister.

    @MamaG: The thing is I can't even eat tums! They're like nasty flavored chalk! lol. Hmm, but I rather not take meds anyway, so maybe I'll just see if it gets better or worse. I just have to be careful not to eat too much..

    @whenoceansrise: That video is adorable! What has the reaction been? Did you put it on FB? I think everyone knows for me pretty much. I'm going to a wedding in July with lots of people and I recon il be huge by then as I am getting pretty big now so they can find out then!

    I have been getting really bad indigestion or heart burn. Not sure which but it's very very uncomfortable. I'm also getting pains around my bump. The skin feels too tight and if I stretch up or sneeze, it feels like my skin is going to split! Really unpleasant. I just keep thinking if it's like that now, what's it gonna be like in a few months

    @MamaG: That's so cute! B loves pointing at my stomach and saying "baby" and then he kisses my belly. It's kinda funny though, he pointed to DH's belly and said "baby" and both DH and I started cracking up.

    I'm back from my vacation! Got to see my family & tell everyone the news (they were surprised we kept it secret for so long & my mom was mad she didn't know first lol)

    Bad news is my OB office called while we were gone & said there wasn't enough fetal DNA for my Harmony test, so I get to redo it again this week sometime.

    Nice to see everyone is doing well and has had good NT scans and all. Way too much to stuff happened to respond to all.

    @Mrs.Lilac: Same as you! Except I just feel all these pinching/pulling/tugging sensations where the baby is chilling!

    @whenoceansrise: Oh my gosh girl! Same here. I have been feeling well for a couple of days now. I am still having food aversions... but its getting better and hell at least I'm not nauseous!! Its so crazy how quickly it changed. With LO it lasted through week 13 and this time I started feeling better at the end of week 11. Ill take it! I'm so glad that you are feeling better as well!

    I also started feeling more awake. Before I got my BFP I was running every morning at 5am and that very quickly stopped. I started run/walking starting on Thursday at 5am again. I can only make it 2-3 blocks before I have to walk, so out of breath. But I don't even care, it just feels so nice to get out and move. Couch surfing gets old fast.

    @whenoceansrise: Aww that is so sweet!!

    @winniebee: Woohoo!

    Ugh, you guys. I am 14w4d and I am STILL throwing up in the mornings. What the heck?! My doc even gave me some samples of Diclegis and I took some last night and it still didn't help. Blaaaah. I just keep waiting for it to go away and it doesn't. Boo.

    Sorry to be all complainy it is just wearing on me a bit.

    @theotherstark: Ahh why! I did read that it can last a little longer past 1st tri for some, but that sucks!! I really hope you'll be done with it soon and ENJOY 2nd tri!

    @AngelicOne: what a bummer. When do you have to get the test redone?

  22. theotherstark

    @AngelicOne: boo, I'm sorry you have to redo the test!! Sounds like that has happened a few times for people on this thread.

    @snowjewelz: I know. I just hope that it doesn't last the whole pregnancy!! I mean, I will happily take it for the end result, but it would be nice to feel reasonably "normal" again

    @Mrs.Lilac: Thank you! We put it on facebook! Everyone is blowing up with excitement. It's pretty crazy!

  25. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

    @theotherstark: It will not! It makes such a difference to feel "normal" after feeling sick for so so long that you almost feel like it's the new normal!

    @snowjewelz: you need get the tums smoothie...they dissolve quickly and don't have that horrible chalk consistency... And they taste much better.

    @whenoceansrise: woo-hoo! Hope the nausea is gone for good for you!

    @littlek: hilarious!

    @MamaG: so sweet! My LO doesn't really like babies but the other day someone was asking her about her baby sibling and she came up to me and tried to pull up my shirt and said "time for baby to get out...get it out...come out"

    @Mrs.Lilac: I went through this a few weeks ago. I was so uncomfortable all the time bc my skin just felt so tight and also hot to the touch. At almost 15 weeks the uncomfortable tightness has gone away

    @theotherstark: so sorry you're still so sick! My nausea lasted until 20 weeks with my LO. Hope yours clears up soon! My GP just had a baby and told me the only thing that helped her morning sickness was to exercise in the morning...she'd notice the nausea was much better throughout the day when she did this. That just sounds so awful to me but I did find when I did the prenatal yoga that I felt so much better

    @littlek: She told me to go back in today, but too worn out from my trip, so will probably try to go tomorrow. I was 11w3d the first time, and tomorrow I'll be 14w4d, so hopefully it works this time.

    @theotherstark: Boo for still being sick! Yeah, I've heard a lot of people lately saying it on BabyCenter as well.

    @theotherstark: Sorry to hear you're still feeling crappy! Hopefully, it lets up soon.

    @snowjewelz: I had really bad heartburn last pregnancy and Tums totally grossed me out. I found mint-flavored ones that were in the shape of Tics Tacs and they were much better. I also liked Rolaids a little more than Tums. Hate the chalkiness!

    I had my monthly appointment today. The midwife kept trying to find the heartbeat and could only find it for a few seconds at a time. I never heard it, but she said she did, so I hope she's right! They took blood for Harmony - hopefully, it works the first time.

    I have a nuchal screening ultrasound next week. Hoping I'll get to see the little bean!

    @whenoceansrise: your video announcement seriously brought a tear to my eyes!!! So tasteful and sweet. I like the little dog smiling face too

    We got a big surprise today. Luckily my SO came with me to my appointment because the u/s tech declared... it's a boy!!! She printed like 3 pictures of the evidence but I'll spare you ladies that. We are feeling super excited and blessed, even though my boo was convinced it was a girl. I am in love with the hand & foot shots... here he is

    @magnolia: Yay!!!! Congratulations!!! What great photos!! And I'm still shocked that people are finding out THIS early! I'm having my NT scan tonight and I really hope they don't tell me what they think it is because Hubs won't be there!

    @AngelicOne: oh that stinks. I hope next time works out.

    @magnolia: wow awesome! Congrats!

    @mrsbookworm: baby was probably just in a hard position. Good luck next week!

    @theotherstark: oh no! Well I know for some it lasts until 15/16 weeks. I hope that's you rather than the whole pregnancy.

  36. winniebee

    @Adira: my husband can't attend mine next week so I'm just going to tell them at the outset that I don't want any guesses.

  37. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

    @mrsbookworm: Thanks for the suggestions! Now I'm just stuck with a huge tub of tums! lol

    @magnolia: Congrats!! I actually want to see the evidence! I'm very curious! I never even ask them during my NT scan. I think I will ask at my next appt!

    @sandy: I've heard it helps too. I'm just not sure I could even handle it in the early mornings when I get up - even my morning walk with my dog is a little rough, since I sometimes throw up halfway through it. Yikes!

    @AngelicOne: @whenoceansrise: @mrsbookworm: Thank you, ladies!

    @littlek: Ugh, it's so lame I'm sorry.

    @magnolia: Awww congratulations! That is so exciting!

    @Adira: I'm really surprised people are finding out this early too!! I had thought that there was still just the nub there for both sexes, and that you couldn't really tell until at least 16 weeks. Crazy!

    @winniebee: Ahh me too! Haha.

    @theotherstark: That's what I thought!! I'll be curious to see if any of these early results are wrong, haha!
