Wahoo, second time seems to be working!
Location: Wisconsin
EDD: February 23
First child? Nope, 2nd. DS just turned 4 the end of May
Symptoms? Sore boobs, slightest touch of nausea
Thoughts/feelings/fears? I'm only 4 weeks, 2 days, so early loss is my biggest fear right now. I had a chemical pregnancy a couple cycles ago that ended right about now, but so far my pregnancy tests seems to be getting darker so that makes me feel better.

Thanks for starting this! I'm nervous to post, but I guess I'll jump in.
Location: Chicago, IL
EDD: Feb 15th
First child? No, we have an almost 5 year old son
Symptoms? sore boobs and mild cramping, but that it coming and going just to freak me out
Thoughts/feelings/fears? I've been waiting for a really long time for this, so I'm excited. And I can't wait to tell my family and friends because they are going to be super excited for us, too. Mostly though, since I'm 38, I'm just really anxious to make it past all the chromosomal testing. ETA: Actually, I'm most nervous to make it to our first ultrasound in a two and a half weeks (but who's counting?)

@Chuckles: I was super nervous to start the board, but I figured having a place to talk about it while wait would help no matter what the outcome. Glad to see someone else with a large age gap between 1 and 2, and not to far away down in Chicago. We're across the border on I90

Thanks for starting this!

EDD: Early Feb? Will know more later this week!
First child? Yes!
Symptoms? Cramping, mostly at night. Moodiness, bless my DH.
Thoughts: “I hope baby is doing ok!”
Feelings: A mixture of excitement and cautiousness. I’m trying to not get too excited because I had a chemical a year ago. I’m further along this time, but the fear of early loss still lingers.
Fears: Same as above! Trying to stay positive!

Thank you @BadgerMom for starting this board!! I've anxiously been awaiting it to be created but was too scared to create it myself.
Location: New York
EDD: February 9th
First child? Yes
Symptoms? I have basically had zero symptoms until this morning, mild nausea setting in. I was starting to get worried because my prior pregnancy my boobs were extremely sore ad this time, nothing.
Thoughts/feelings/fears? I had a TFMR in March due to T21 which was an extremely hard thing to do, especially as it took us 1.5 years to create that baby and part of that was with fertility treatments. We were able to concieve on our own this time, no treatment needed and were shocked. I am just petrified of getting a trisomy diagnosis again.
I am 6w2d today and have my first ultrasound. I got in early because I still had leftover hcg in my system and told the doctor I wanted to make sure all was good. I am so afraid of going in there and they won't be able to find a heartbeat or will tell me that there isn't anything in there or something. I hope I am freaking out for nothing but it is a really scary feeling. Trying to stay positive!!

I'll jump in too...
Location: Connecticut
EDD: Feb 5th (dating ultrasound this Friday)
First child? Nope, 3rd. DS1 will be 8 next month and DS2 just turned 4
Symptoms? Lovely metal taste in my mouth and mild nausea from late afternoon until bedtime. Exhaustion.
Thoughts/feelings/fears? Mainly fears at this point. I have had 2 past losses, 1st at 8 weeks and 2nd at 12 weeks. So I am under no illusions that this is guaranteed to go smoothly. I'm trying to be indifferent about what could happen and just take it day by day. I'm also 38 and anxious about the genetic/chromosomal testing. On top of all of that DH and I were undecided about a 3rd. Had really come to a place where it just wasn't going to happen...and then it did! Our boys are getting older so the idea of a newborn again is daunting!
In conclusion I'm just a mess basically

@Mrs. Oreo: Thanks!!
I am also sort of panicking because my dog went to jump out of bed this morning and essentially kicked me in my lower abdomen/pelvic area. I know it is probably silly but I freaked out and am hoping it didn't do any harm to my little bean!

@LabradorLover: it's not silly to freak out - but bean is more than likely doing okay! just has to get used to the older siblings

@LabradorLover: Congrats!! I hope everything looks great today.
@milano14: Glad to know I'm not the only one who is a mess. Our almost 5 year old is wild but basically so easy compared to the younger years, so I'm nervous about starting over again.

Wow, how many more Sconnies are going to show up here?
Location: Wisconsin
EDD: 2/22/19
First child? No, my son is 2.5.
Symptoms? Not many so far, which is of course freaking me out.
Thoughts/feelings/fears? I had a MMC in March, and I’m mostly just hoping history doesn’t repeat itself! Other than that - I’m AMA too (sounds much better than geriatric!), so I’m nervous about the NIPT results.
Hoping all of us get to stay on this journey together!

One more thing for this morning... my obsession with whether or not my boobs are still feeling sore and heavy is out of control. I'm basically squeezing my boobs constantly all day. Good thing I'm off work for the summer so that I can be a weirdo in the privacy of my house

@periwinklebee: Thank you!! Hope you're doing well!
@cyntist: Must be the Midwest weather bringing the fertile out of us...
@Chuckles: That's how I check to make sure I'm still pregnant! Low key squeezing my boob at work while I type this...
kiwi / 548 posts
@Chuckles: @Mrs. Oreo: hahaha I have been squeezing mine every so often to see if it hurts yet. Glad to know i'm not the only one!!
@bhbee: Thank you!!
@milano14: Thank you!!
persimmon / 1385 posts
@Chuckles: @Mrs. Oreo: @LabradorLover: I find myself squeezing all the time! Saturday they were CRAZY, it felt like the early days of breastfeeding. Yesterday and today they have just been slightly more sensitive that usual which makes me a bit nervous.
@cyntist: Crazy! I didn't even realize there were this many fellow Sconnies on HB lol. Oh and my irrational brain totally thought I wasn't getting pregnant (took us 6 months) because of low sun exposure/vitamin d lol.
Is anyone else HUNGRY? Like all the time?!

@BadgerMom: ok, so I’ve been doing keto for months now and today .... I caved. And I blame it on baby!! I have not craved carbs as much as I do now...
I am eating lo mein and beef with veggies for lunch. Carb overload! Oh well!
kiwi / 548 posts
@BadgerMom: I'm not necessarily hungry all of the time...yet...however I am currently craving McDonald's french fries. Already told the hubby we are going there for dinner after the ultrasound!!
persimmon / 1385 posts
@Mrs. Oreo: Ha! I was going to start my Keto diet the Monday before I got my BFP on Thursday. I even announced it to all the guys in the office since they are also trying to lose weight. I'm sure they're all like WTF?! now.
@LabradorLover: Oooooh fries. Yummmmm.

Hi everyone - Congrats to each of you! Jumping in to join as well.
Location: Redwood City, California (San Francisco, basically)
EDD: Feb. 9
First child? No, 2nd - our first is 3.5 years old, a girl
Symptoms? Just extremely tired and sore boobs all the time. Pretty much how it went with the first pregnancy so far.
Thoughts/feelings/fears? I'm also coming off of a chemical pregnancy 2 cycles ago and been feeling super nervous. I'm still nervous since I had my appt with my OB this morning and he made a rough EDD and wants me back in 2 weeks to make it "more official" - I'm somewhere around 6 weeks 1-2 days or so. But he did find a super strong heartbeat so fingers crossed that everything is okay!

@zojirushi: Welcome and congratulations on the heat beat. I hope that as at least eased some fears

@Mrs. Oreo: I know, right?! The past few days of waiting for today were a freaking eternity!!
@BadgerMom: Thanks! It has. He was able to see a little glimmer of the baby on ultrasound so we have baby's first photo. Definitely eager for the next appointment, but I feel a little more justified with this fatigue, lol!

Hey ladies! Congrats to you all!
Location: Memphis, TN
EDD: February 26
First child? Nope- number 2. DS will turn 2 in August.
Symptoms? Bloating, slight cramping (freaks me out), enlarged breasts, sour stomach, and loss of appetite.
Thoughts/feelings/fears? I am over the moon but not allowing myself to be too excited yet. I know anything can happen. I have been taking FRER 3 days in a row now, and the lines are slightly darker, so I’m feeling hopeful. My Wondfo tests are so light my husband can’t even tell where the line is, so this kind of worries me! I’m going to try to stay positive though!
I’m so excited to have a place to express fears and questions. Thank you for starting this board @BADGERMOM!

@Chuckles: I totally squeezed my boobs every day when I was pregnant with DS. Some days they wouldn’t hurt and I would worry so much! Oddly, my boobs don’t hurt at all this time!
pear / 1677 posts
@Jessiemuller88: wondfos can be so weird.
These are mine on the morning I found out I was pregnant. My FRER has darker lines.
