@scg00387: I'm not wild about possibly going into labor with house guests but otherwise I'm not too bothered by it. They are the kinds of guests that cook, clean, and take good care of us when they come in so it isnt a hassle at all

@highwire: aw, those are the best kind!! it's probably different in a house too - when we have had either set of parents in our 2 bedroom apartment it's always a little.. squished even though we love having them there! I had someone ask me when my due date was today.. it felt so weird saying "Friday!" without any "# week(s)" in the phrase.

Simultaneously lost my mucus plug and my water broke today. At the hospital trying to get labor started. They have me on a cervix softener to possibly be followed by pitocin in a few hours...

Definitely lost my mucus plug today. Husband is in major nesting mode now....it's actually pretty entertaining. Just mild cramps otherwise so I'm not counting on a turkey day baby, but at least something is going on around here.
We are going to a restaurant for dinner because there was no way we were going to have people in our house today...I know I would be stressing out. As long as I get some pumpkin pie, this little butterball is free to come when she wants

Contractions continue on my end...but not getting any stronger. Hoping a big thanskgiving feast kicks it into gear. I don't want ro exite my family unnessesarily, so I'm just kind of keeping quiet but trying to keep mental note of these contractions as they come.

@scg00387: I'm still having minor cramping, and have had 5-6 contractions today but nothing regular. I feel like I'm heading in the right directions though, so I'm happy about that
My due date is technically Monday so I'm curious to see if ill have a baby by then!

@highwire @petuniasandpearls exciting stuff!! i'm in the same boat - one or two 60 second contractions every hour or so, but completely painless and no escalation. I guess I should just be glad they don't hurt if they're going to stick around at such a slow, steady pace
@lindseykaye those CHEEKS! she is so stinking cute and makes me even more excited to meet my baby boy - I have that bee swaddle blanket too
