How far along?: 4 weeks (got my BFP yesterday!)
How long TTC?: 2 months
First child?: No, DS is almost 21 months old (born Feb '11)
First midwife appointment: mid December, maybe the 20th
Symptoms so far: Mild nausea and breast tenderness, fatigue, back pain
Who have you told?: DH and 2 friends (one is my doula) We will start telling family in the next couple of weeks. I think I'll tell a few friends as needed.

Hi ladies, I am still a bit nervous to post anything, but I am in! Got a BFP first thing yesterday morning (with a digi), then took another yesterday afternoon and one more this morning and all are BFPs so I guess it's real! =) I am still very cautious, but DH and I are so excited.

EDD: according to online calculator, July 18, 2013

How long TTC: this was my first cycle off BCP - I feel so lucky! We were sort of a combo of NTNT and TTC...we definitely wanted it to happen, but not doing any charting or temping.

First Child: Yes!!

First doctors appointment: just scheduled it for FRIDAY!!

Symptoms so far: this is part of why I am still a little nervous/cautious. I really don't feel like I have any symptoms at all! I do sort of feel a little "off" int he tummy area (not nausea or cramps, almost like a hunger twinge that doesn't go away) and I do think I'm bloated, but otherwise I feel completely normal. I hope no symptoms isn't a bad sign....

Who have you told: only DH so far. It is already hard not to tell my 2 BFFs but I wanted to try and wait til the first doc appt, plus one of them (the one who already has kids so I would normally be asking a million questions already) is out of the country, so I will wait til I can tell them both at the same time. It is going to be REALLY hard not to give it away to the whole crew that we go out with all the time...we are a very big drinking crowd! Last night we were at a bar for election night and DH was a rockstar, kept sneakily switching our beers so it looked like I had been drinking mine, haha.

@cranberry: Thanks! It makes me feel better reading that other people feel relatively symptom-less this early on, also. I think I am just exactly 4 weeks, so I realize it's still REALLY early. I suppose I should be glad I am not nauseous or vomiting yet, but in some ways that would make it feel more real, you know? haha.

@charcole2011 When I was pregnant with my first I didn't have any symptoms until about a week after the BFP (which was a few days after AF should have come). This pregnancy, I felt it right away-- before the BFP-- so who knows! I hope all goes well at your appointment.

We told our immediate family this week, so that was exciting. And I got my mw appointment scheduled for Dec. 21

Hi! We just had our first ultrasound today, so I'm ready to join the board! We had an early ultrasound because I was bleeding/spotting 2 weeks ago... but everything looked good today! We even saw a little heartbeat

EDD: July 3

How far along?: 6 weeks 2 days

How long TTC?: 8 cycles of active trying, though we first started trying in May of 2011.

First child?: I had an early miscarriage last year, but this will hopefully be our first take home baby.

First doctor's appointment: Next Wednesday... When I'm 7 weeks.

Symptoms so far: I have cramping every now and then, and I've been nauseated for most of this week. It used to go away once I ate, but now it's a mild constant nausea that lasts all day. I also have sore boobs and I've been pretty tired.

Who have you told?: Several of my good friends, my parents, and we're planning on telling DH's parents this weekend.

Yay for more July mamas!

I am counting down the days until our first appt! A little more nausea has kicked in, mostly in the late afternoon/evenings. Food seems to help but only SMALL meals.

I had my first appointment last Friday but it was just a blood test and getting some info about foods to avoid, etc. BUT we got to schedule our first ultrasound for 11/29 when I will be 7 weeks! I am SO excited and hoping that we will be able to see the heartbeat by then. =)

I still don't have many symptoms - definitely still hungry a lot more than normal, and bloated. A little tired, but not exhausted like I have heard that I will be. Definitely peeing a lot more, but I am also trying to drink a lot more water so not sure if that's a real symptom...

Hi, can I join please?? I'm super nervous to join a due date thread as my last pregnancy was a chemical - but I figure that the May mommies were super supportive and it wouldn't hurt to dip my toe into the water again!

Who have you told?: No-one! I'm waiting until DH gets home so I can surprise him!!

@Cherrybee: Congrats! Hoping this is a sticky baby for you!

I just wanted to say Congratulations to everyone! My LO was born July 18th this year so she's a July 2012 baby! It's a great time to have a baby. You get to wear flowy summer clothes at the end of pregnancy and postpartum and she's come out of the newborn stage just in time for the holidays! Good luck and have fun!

@kpow: I have a plan!! I've been a little emotional these last few days (I was like this last time I was pg) and DH has been really worried about me - he found out I hadn't cancelled my email subscriptions for the first pregnancy (you know the ones telling you how far gone you are and what to expect) and he - rightly - insisted I cancel them.

So, tonight, I'm planning to tell him I've been thinking about how emotional I've been of late and have taken some steps today - 1) I've cancelled my newsletters (I did, this morning!!) and 2) I've set them right back up again - then, when he looks confused, I'll give him the tests (and share how I've probably been emotional because of that).

Whaddya think??

@Cherrybee: Aww that will be so sweet! I'm sure he'll be shocked! That's very sweet that he was supportive of you and trying to help you get past it.

@cherrybee I also had a chem pregnancy last month so I know how you're feeling. It's hard to trust it! Hopefully all of our babies are healthy and sticky

So it looks like I'm the only one who already has a baby so far. I've heard that with the second one they uterus gets bigger faster but holy moly I'm so bloated that my pants already don't fit. I feel so dumb for even thinking about buying maternity pants now but I can't walk around with safety pinned pants all winter!!

@glimmersnaps: @kpow: this is my first and I am just 5 weeks today - but I can't believe how bloated I am already! I told my mom my pants were too tight and she laughed at me - which is totally fair, I get that I haven't really gained any belly yet, but honestly, this spare tire look is NOT CUTE. haha!

@kpow @charcole2011 Seriously this isn't a good look! You know, maybe I did have this last time. I probably didn't change out of my pajamas on most days in my first trimester so maybe I didn't notice!

Oh and yay the vomiting has started for me. Also my toddler learned to say "Mama tired" today. He also thinks its funny when I throw up. Never a dull moment

Hi July Mommies! Just checking in!

I'm very happy today because I just took HPT number 6 (I know, I'm losing it!) and it was a much darker line - the darkest HPT I've ever had (and on a not very sensitive test)! This means I'm officially doing better than I was last time in terms of HCG levels! I know this means very little, really - but it makes me happy!

How's everyone feeling? I have a strange burning sensation in my bbs (wow, it's sore!) but that's about it at the moment. my tiredness seems to have gone away and I'm not feeling nauseous at all now. Mind, there's plenty of time for symptoms - I'm only 3wks 5days.

@mrsvdv: Congrats!!

@Cherrybee: I took about 5 tests total over 5 days.. but most of which were digital (I got a 5 pack haha) so I didn't see any lines getting darker. The first time I tested I used a FRER and a Digital at the same time (multi-tasker hahaha) I ran out of tests but if I had more, I know I'd still be taking them!!

I'm 7w 3d and feeling pretty good and nauseous. My boobs aren't as sore as they were before but still tender (like how they normally are during AF) Last night I got a pretty bad headache which made me feel nasty! First headache in awhile and I normally have them often!

Today is my first OB appointment! I'm leaving work early to pick up DH I'm so excited/nervous! Trying to come up with questions to ask while I'm there!!

@Bookworm: I wouldn't count all those lbs to eating! It might just be bloat! I would eat whatever you can whenever you can WHILE you can haha. My meals have significantly dropped since the nausea has kicked in.
