@pastemoo: @RunnerD: Glad I'm not the only one with lame workouts and icky tummy! Haha.
@catomd00: Yay CONGRATS I am so happy your husband was able to join you - how special
@MRSKRB: That is exciting I'd go with it too and believe it was baby! Sometimes I stare at my belly with the hopes that will instigate movement - haha!
@Mrs. Pink: My friend's baby had the 2 vessel thing going on and she is a very happy bubbly 3 year old. I agree with others to stay off google on this one.
@babybinks: Welcome!! Love your "symptoms" haha.

My husband is always a worrier-- with Caroline he didn't even allow himself to love her until she was here and safe-- I had hoped this time h'd come around but now he's panicking and shut me down completely last night talking about names... He did the same with Caroline... So I'm sure he's going to be resistant to feeling kicks too... And so on.
I'm frustrated but trying to give him some time to process-- he's way more of a pessimist than I am and expects the ultimate worst every time

@catomd00: that's all I got
But we also got a DVD of the ultrasound too!

Welcome binks and champagne!
So many cute ultrasounds and sex reveals! Who else is finding out?
Just saying hi, not much here. Heartburn and congestion still, not much else. 2 weeks till ultrasound, plan is to not find out the sex during the exam but maybe find out after (in an envelope).

I think baby is literally laying on my cervix... I ache! I was really surprised that my uterus is at my belly button since everything feels so firm at the top of my abdomen

@Mrs. Pink: @catomd00: Congrats on your girls!! It's so exciting finding out what everyone is having!
@babybinks: Welcome!
Any more gender reveals coming up soon? I still can't believe how many TG mamas we have this month, myself included! Especially @meadow:! I'm a diehard TG'er but even I don't know if I could have done it with twins! You have amazing willpower!

@Mrs. Pink: it's hard not to worry, but I'm sure he's doing the best he can, and will love her even more when she's here!
@babybinks: welcome!
@pastemoo: having the results in an envelope would kill me!
@Ree723: we find out Monday!

@Mrs. Pink: @catomd00: Congrats on your girls!!
I am getting pretty jealous of everyone finding out but I going to try to stay strong on being team green!
@babybinks: @Mrs. Champagne: Welcome!
I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy is going, already 17 weeks as of Monday. I have a check up on the 15th and then my 20 week scan on the 25th. I am a little nervous and hoping that everything looks ok since I did not do the first trimester screening (I wanted to but had insurance issues and did not have time to get it done by the time I got everything in order).
I don't want to jinx it but I think that my nausea is finally gone and I am feeling almost back to myself! I have even started working out again as of last week.
persimmon / 1272 posts
@Mrs. Pink: Oh how uncomfortable - baby lying on your cervix this early!
@Ree723: Haha thanks - If the possibility of boy/girl twins was in the mix it would be harder...but identical twins I feel like its easier. We're pretty sure this is going to be our only pregnancy so its our one shot at being TG and I think it is so fun to be around someone who doesn't know (one of my BFFs didn't find out for her baby this spring and we were always trying to guess and analyze wives tales - so fun
@Purpledaisy: You can do it! Stay strong So glad you are feeling so much better. I feel noticeably better this week too (energy/attitude wise)! Funny how that works.
I was sitting on the floor by the coffee table earlier tonight and I was squished between the couch and the table...Normally I'd sit with my bottom on the floor but my knees bent and up in front of me. I felt so uncomfortable - then I realized that my belly didn't fit and had to adjust. That was a funny realization!!!!
The other day I woke up with 2 little tiny quarter inch long red/purple lines on my stomach. I thought possibly the beginnings of stretch marks - my husband thinks simply a burst vein. Not sure but was odd to see

Happy New Year everyone!
I had the longest reply with individual responses but I just lost it all!
Yay for our two girls! Welcome to the new comers! Beautiful scans
I am still struggling with nausea... ran out of meds yesterday and was too tired to go to the pharmacy. I was hopeful of trying with out but by tonight I was very glad to have my refill! I have an aversion to Pizza... this baby still wants oranges and avos
I am still in my regular scrubs at work and they are getting tight... my pants sit low! I need to go hunt down some maternity scrubs this weekend.
Looking forward to hearing the HB again at my midwife appointment tomorrow. We find out what it is on Tuesday next week! My guess is that it is a boy... but no idea why... lol I'm happy either way.

I had a nice long reply to all you ladies, but then something happened to my internet & I lost it. Lovely.
I'll just say I can't wait to hear in the next few weeks what everyone is having and that I can't believe just how many Team Greens we have. Kudos to you, because it takes a lot of willpower!
Nothing new here, went to the doctor Tuesday, heard Baby M's heart beat & got the Panorama Blood Test since my NT Scan was unsuccessful due to my uterus being tilted. I should have the results in 10 days, I'm a little nervous. I was hoping to have more energy now that I'm in the second trimester, but I have been just as tired here lately. Nausea is still there but letting up a lot. No cravings as of yet, really just enjoying all my favorites since I haven't been able to for a while now.

@Contemplating: YAY
I wore a non-bump fitting shirt yesterday (cotton material sort of like a button down shirt) that masked the size of my bump and just looked like a tent. Today I put on an empire waist stretchy shirt and the size of my bump surprised me in the mirror :-p. Loving these little babies and can't wait to hear them on the doppler at my appointment on Monday

I've been mostly reading along this week - I was having major pregnancy anxiety, worrying about baby.
Well bc of that, we moved up our elective ultrasound today, and it was such a relief to see the wiggling, healthy baby....
Baby boy! Apparently I am a Boys Mom for life since we are stopping with #2 I'm not going to lie that I am sad to close the door on idea of a girl, but brothers will be great and F will love having a brother I'm sure!

@catomd00: except baby boy clothes from 0-9 months! LOL... I'm a purger, and had several friends with baby boys and got rid of a lot of clothes because I thought we were going to have more a 3-4 year gap instead of 23 months! then we changed our mind

@runnerd: yay a boy!
We're done at 2-- I am a little bummed about not having a mommy son relationship but I'm freaking pumped about another girl at the same time!
I chose my HB username well

so my in-laws don't think we are finding out the gender until next week. so I think we are going to grab some blue balloons to put in a box, then facetime them tonight while LO #1 opens the box.
have you other ladies who found out already done anything special or told people? I'm not going to make the gender widespread knowledge outside of close family and family until after we have it confirmed again at my 21 week anatomy scan.

so names again? has anyone whose found out chosen a name?
We're stuck.... and I have to try to figure out a way to tell my MIL that I uh, will not be naming the baby after her in any capacity because I really don't love her name... even as a middle name (it'd have to be a middle name and it doesn't jive with any of our first name picks)
We've decided instead to honor my FIL with a middle name, even though it's a boy middle name I think it's nice with a girlier first name (it's Ellis, though we may do Elisabeth)
persimmon / 1272 posts
@runnerd: congrats!!!! How exciting. Down the road I'm sure you'll be a great MIL. Hehe.
@Mrs. Pink: Elisabeth is a very pretty middle name. I met someone this fall with that spelling and it's unique and pretty!
AFM, I think just maybe I felt flutters this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was lying on my right side and woke up uncomfortable so I rolled to my left and when I stopped moving I felt kind of like bubbles going "thump thump thump" twice. Then I waited......if it was gas I know there would be a fart or burp 30 seconds to a minute later
.... neither!! So I'm calling it my first flutter which puts me over the moon and at the same time means there's no chance of falling asleep because I'm too excited

@Mrs. Pink: does your mil have a nice middle name? Maiden name? Lol. Elisabeth is pretty
@meadow: yay! I think I've felt a couple pops too. So exciting.
We haven't picked a name for sure yet. Boy name we have a front runner but haven't discussed any others. Girl names no idea. I can't imagine agreeing to one! Middle names will be family names. We have a lot to choose from!

@meadow: yay! I'm feeling them pretty frequently now and it's awesome! My friend is due in March and feels hiccups all the time, I can't wait
