@swedishfish: I'm doing well, thanks for asking! Haven't had any cramping today and baby boy moving a lot today. It's funny how they seem to move one day and slow way down the next...he's trying to give me a panic attack. I did get a little sunburn and my belly is so itchy now. I even put SPF 50 on!!!!
@sea_bass: If they're time-able than that's a great sign!!!
@Darling: good luck with your appt. tomorrow and let us know how it goes. My mom was induced as well, a few weeks early because she was dilated, with all three kids.

BPP tomorrow morning at 9:30 on my due date. We will also schedule my (hopefully unnecessary) induction at my appointment. I cannot believe that tomorrow is my due date. That's craziness - wasn't it just October?

@jh524: oh, I understand the worrying from the lack of movement on some days. The BPPs make me feel better though - sometimes I can't feel the nudges because of the anterior placenta.

excited to share that baby softcream is a boy! in my mind, i was kinda expecting a girl with no real rationale, so when he came out and dh announced "it a boy!" all i could say was "no way!"
born june 14 at 2:18pm after 12 hours of labor including about 90 minutes of pushing. 7lb 4oz. 19.5 inches long. and tons of hair. he's so adorable, it makes me cry.

My induction is scheduled for Monday, June 24th at 6 AM if I have not gone into labor before then. This kid has been served an official eviction notice.

@tinypiglet: anything happening? I had some bloody mucus but that could've been from today's cervical check. But this was my fourth or fifth check and I've never bled from one before. I'm also having some cramping.

@swedishfish: thanks! i am feeling okay today - can't believe it's actually my due date! belly is super tight this morning for some reason, and i am a little crampy. i finally just got up early and took a shower, mostly just to have something to do.
maybe baby is a perfectionist and decided to wait until her due date? if she just bums around in there today and doesn't come out, then i am going to try to schedule a growth scan and nst tomorrow morning if i can. fingers crossed that i don't have to do that...i'm ready to meet this little gal!
haven't heard from @sea_bass in quite a while....

I'm going to take a walk and see if I can convince this kid to come out. My hormones are all over the place. I was almost in tears a few minutes ago because the baby is a day late thinking that it's time I'll never get back with him/her. Crazy pity party for one?

Took the dog for a walk and got a due date treat for me (pain au chocolat and an iced latte). Also called hospital and scheduled growth scan/NST appt for Thursday afternoon. Here's hoping it turns out to be unnecessary!
@swedishfish: Hormones are definitely rampant here too. I go from cranky to weepy to manic to sleepy in the space of an hour it seems.

hi ladies,
just wanted to submit my update for the roster. my scheduled c-section went well and baby girl Harper Madeleine was born on 6/12. we came home on 6/15 and have been adjusting to this new life. it's hard! LOL.
everyone that's still waiting to go into labor, enjoy your last few days/weeks of pregnancy as much as you can!

@tinypiglet: is this your first growth ultrasound? I wish I could have another one. I'm a little worried that the baby is going to be huge. I really don't want to wait till Monday to give birth.
@jh524: any more cramps? My walk was great for the contractions until I got home - then they slowly stopped.

@swedishfish: No, I had one earlier in the third tri - 36 weeks I think? She was measuring just fine at that point. Doctor doesn't think she's going to be very big (but the same doctor has also said repeatedly that I would deliver before my due date!) so I am hoping I'm okay. I am guessing I won't be induced until next Tuesday at the earliest anyway (41 weeks) so it won't matter unless the baby is gigantic or there is something wrong with fluid levels, etc.
If the baby doesn't emerge until after this Friday, I will be really interested to watch her personality develop on the outside, as her astrological sign will flip from Gemini to Cancer...

@tinypiglet: I also had a growth ultrasound around 35-36 weeks and baby was measuring in the 30th percentile then. But with the GD diagnosis I'm worried about even going to 41 weeks. I don't want a 10 lb baby like DH was
I am a little flabbergasted that the doctors office is so nonchalant about this. They were willing to let me go further than 41 weeks and I said no thanks because that's not what I was originally told. Too many cooks in the kitchen here.

I, too, will be a late joiner although I've been following along for a while. I was due June 10, but she is clearly not in a hurry to arrive, and none of the bribes or threats have worked. I go in tonight to start the induction process, which is going to be quite lengthy since I'm not dilated or effaced at all. I just hope I don't have to go through both an induction and then a c-section.
