@swedishfish: @MrsTal: I was thinking of starting it but was too scared ! Glad someone finally did Congrats mommas ! I'm nervous because my cheapies are still not showing a line or a line so light only eagle eyes can see it. However, my FRER's are all good.

EDD: Feb 9th ish

How far along: 4ish

First child? No, I have a 10 month old daughter

First doctor appointment: Just going in this Tuesday to ask a few questions about breast feeding while preggers and stuff.

Any symptoms so far? My nipples are tender which I never had in my first pregnancy. I'm also bagged and not feeling that hot. I'm surprised I"m feeling things so early this time.

Who have you told? DH, my mom and 2 sisters. I want to wait a few more days to tell dh's mom and dad. We will tell everyone else probably at B's 1st birthday party.

First child: Yes

First doctor's appointment: I'm going to call on Monday to get confirmation blood test. Then I'll set up OB appt.

Any symptoms so far?: Lump in my throat (silent reflux??), sore boobs, nipples sensitive at times.

Who have you told? Just DH. Will tell my parents on Father's Day and DH's after the first OB appointment probably.

First child? yes

First doctor appointment: Had betas and progesterone tested last week (b 440 @ 14dpo; p 31 -- waiting for second results). First u/s next week.

Any symptoms so far? Lots and lots of bloating. Did I mention bloating?

Who have you told? My husband, my mom, and my BFF. My mom asked point blank and we couldn't keep the giggles in check. I'm hoping that she keeps it secret for 8 more weeks. We've had two prior chemicals so we're not planning on telling people for a while.

@tlcbaby: how did this year go by SO fast?!

@swedishfish I think my dr was little surprised by the numbers--I've never had a beta that high before. I'm travelling for work and fun for most of late June and July so she insisted that I come in for an early u/s. I'm just hoping the numbers are going up when I get Friday's results back and that nothing too ambiguous shows up at the 6wk scan.

@Mrs. Detour: those numbers are so high! I can't wait until your ultrasound to see what's going on.

My third beta is today and I'm super nervous. My first was 26 and my second was 89, so my doubling time was 27 hours. I'm within the normal ranges, the nurses have said its good, and my lines are getting darker, but I'm still afraid that it will be bad. This is going to be a long 9 months.

@Mrs. Detour: I don't know much about betas as I've never had them done, but those numbers seem crazy! Do twins run in your families?

@LilJane: Congratulations on your pregnancy! Did you end up doing anything special that you think helped you conceive your first?

@Mrs. Detour: anxious, I had symptoms over the weekend but haven't had much yesterday or today. My test line is darker than the control line tho, so that helps (I realize I have a problem). How are you feeling?

@MrsTal & MrsB2012 I'm super exhausted but otherwise feeling good. I'm trying to enjoy it while it lasts but I can't help but POAS to make sure nothing has changed. I feel most nauseated mid-afternoon so I've been trying to do anything that must happen before then each day. It's definitely something I'm better at planning than actually doing.

@MrsMcD: Maybe too much info and if so I apologize in advance. I was diagnosed with PCOS and my cycle's were always varied and longer than normal like anywhere from 30-60 days (which gave me less cycles in a year to get pregnant). My husband and I both went through fertility testing with 2 different doctors since we switched in the middle of TTC and had to start all over. We were getting ready to start Letrozole with monitored weekly ultrasounds when I found out I was pregnant. The only thing I had done different that month besides the other past 29 months was use the Clearblue Fertility Monitor I had borrowed from a friend. I think it helped me to keep track of my cycle daily and it told me when my high and peak fertility days were which for that cycle was on Day 28. I did not temp or use any ovulation sticks that month.

It might have just been luck but when we wanted to start TTC again we used the same monitor and got pregnant on our first try this month (in full disclosure though, my cycles have been much more regular since I had my DD). I am just praying that it is not too good to be true, and I cannot wait for that first ultrasound to make sure there really is a baby heartbeat in there.
