@swedishfish: I'm...okay. I think I've detached myself from the pregnancy...as much as I want it to continue. I'm just afraid to get invested in it. I'm not having any more spotting. I am
going into the doctor to "discuss the pregnancy " tomorrow. I'm wondering if he'll use a Doppler to see if there is still a heartbeat before we start the discussion. I'll be 9w tomorrow so I think it's
On the cusp of being able to hear it.

@tidybee: Fingers crossed that things go well for you tomorrow! I'm hoping you get good news - but at least news, either way.
Allllmost 6w here, finally. I keep thinking that each day brings me a bit closer to finding out that everything is ok and on track. I've been having some cramping the last couple of days and had some darker CM today, which of course is making me nervous. Other than that no real symptoms...which, again haha, makes me nervous.

@Tidybee: what time is your appointment tomorrow? My appointment is at 1 EST. I really hope you get good news tomorrow.

@Keppa: haha, I'm sure the symptoms will hit all at once to make you feel better.

@Keppa: thanks!! I'm hoping for news too! But I think this is going to be one of these "let's make a plan and go over options" appointments.
@swedishfish: 3:30 est. I have all day to worry about what's going to happen. I've never met my doctor (crazy, right?!) and all his nurse said was to come in to discuss it.

@Circusbee: I've been feeling super crappy this past weekend and today. Partly why I am so behind in this thread.
@Tidybee: Good luck today.
Like I told Circusbee, I've been feeling super crappy lately so I haven't been online much and I'm super behind with this thread. I had another u/s today with the RE and everything looked good for 8w2d, baby had a strong heartbeat of 180. I'm graduating from the RE to a regular OB, which is exciting news. I hope to read through everything soon and see how everyone is doing.

@MrsTal: thanks! Great news for you! I remember graduating from the RE with DD. It was such a weird and wonderful feeling. @dagret: thank you!
I don't know how much info I'll have after today but I'll update!

@Tidybee: I'm thinking of you and sending good thoughts.
I do not feel pregnant AT ALL. No cramping, no sickness. Like I'm really nervous! My last pregnancy a week after I found out I started getting sick. So this is so strange. And I'm really upset that my first appointment is by phone. I've never heard of that.

You guys, being pregnant is just weird. This weekend was filled with nausea bloating, painful boobs, and I almost lost it in the airport shuttle from the rental car to the terminal (I was fully prepared to puke in my purse, it was AWFUL). Then got on a super turbulent plane and I was fine.
Then again today, I woke up pukey, but after breakfast, I have tons of energy, no nausea and I'm fairly chipper. Sooo random.
I am very much looking forward to my first US this Thursday morning. Depending on the outcome, we'll be telling our family and close friends that I am pregnant on the 4th of July.
We have no idea how to tell everyone, so any and all cute announcement ideas are welcome! This is the first grandchild for everyone, so I would really like to get reactions on camera. Especially my MIL, whom I have been avoiding like the plague because I am a horrible liar and she would for sure know something is up.
Is anyone else planning on announcing over the weekend?

@Tidybee: thinking about you! Good luck!
@MrsTal: I graduated today too! Happy graduation day!
My appointment with the OB is next Monday. There's a new OB in the practice so I get to meet with her.

@Circusbee: my nausea comes and goes. Feel better!
@intotheocean: by phone? That's strange.
@AnneBird: keeping full helps me keep the nausea at bay. With our first LO we got grandparent, aunt and uncle frames and wrote something like "picture coming June 2013" in them. We are not that creative, haha.

@Tidybee: good luck today
@Circusbee: Hope it passes quickly
@MrsTal: I'm so happy things went well at your ultrasound!
@intotheocean: Pregnancies are so different. THis one is completely different from my last. This time last time I was sicker than a dog all day every day. This time I haven't been sick once. *knocks on wood*
@swedishfish: Congrats on graduating to an OB! That's so exciting! I'm so happy things are going well for you
I am having the worst food aversions. I can't eat anything that I make. Meat.. oh gosh I'm like heaving just typing the word. The only things I've managed to find that I can eat are vegetarian sushi, a vegi spring roll, and now I'm eating an chilli ebi roll and a spicy California roll. I can't keep eating out though haha it's expensive! Last night at my moms for dinner she made a nice roast dinner. THe only thing I could eat was the spaghetti squash and bean dish and even those tasted horrible ( two things I usually love! ) I hope this doesn't last long

I have a drs appt tomorrow already had my first prenatal visit 2 weeks ago, so not really sure what to expect for this one. I am hoping they will check for a heartbeat!! I just want confirmation
I think I am already starting to support a small bump- is that possible? This is my first pregnancy and I am only 8wks3days...anyone else starting to notice a change from bloating to belly? I am also starting to notice I am eating more I am trying to eat a balance meal but all i want is carbs! And I am still not working out as much as I hoped
@mrsb2012 I am sorry you are having food aversions that sounds like no fun! its good that you found something you can eat

@Tidybee: Hope your appointment goes well today. Thinking of you
@swedishfish: Also hoping your appointment goes well!
@circusbee: Yes, I also feel especially crappy. Seems like my nausea is ramping up and I'm just SO tired.
@annebird: I've been feeling the same way! It's so up and down for me.
@MrsTal: Yay for another good appointment! How exciting that you had another u/s. I graduated from my RE last week after my u/s at 6w3d, so I'm not sure when my OB will have me come in - still waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

I had my first U/S this morning, and everything looks good! Just one baby (I was on Clomid, so there was a chance of twins or more!), and heartbeat was good at 156. The U/S tech and the nurse practitioner I saw both said everything looks great, and I'm measuring right on track for my calculations - Feb. 12th is officially my due date!
We told my in-laws last night. My BIL was in town, and we wanted to be able to tell all 3 of them together. We were trying to figure out a way to wait until after the appt today, so we could tell them & show pictures at the same time, but we couldn't make that work. So DH just said, "well, it was all a ruse anyway, she doesn't have a meeting in the morning, we have our first ultrasound." There was much squealing and crying - it was really wonderful! We went back over there today to show MIL & BIL the pictures (FIL was working) and MIL said she couldn't sleep last night she was so excited. This is the first grandchild on that side! I'm so glad they're excited! My sister and her family will be in town for the holiday this weekend, so we'll tell my whole family then. I can't wait!

@swedishfish: so glad you got to graduate today! are you allowed to stop taking progesterone? @HeartAbandoned: great news! What an exciting time for you and our family.
My appointment was okay. It was my first time meeting my doctor (we moved here 6 months ago). He basically confirmed what the radiologist said: it doesn't look good. If I don't miscarry in the next few weeks (I'm 9w today), there's likely some chromosomal abnormalities. He walked us through the testing options and referred us to maternal fetal medicine. They'll do an ultrasound to see if the baby is still alive, and then we'll go through the testing with them. I asked if there was any chance of everything being normal. He said I've surprised him so far because he hasn't seen a single digit progesterone level develop a heartbeat in years, so he's not counting me out but the odds are not in my favor of having a normal healthy pregnancy and baby.
So that's where I stand. I feel strange being here in the group because I don't feel like I belong but I also haven't miscarried, so I don't belong there either....sorry for my blubbering....

@Kbee: wow, you graduated early from the RE!
@HeartAbandoned: glad your appointment went well.
@Tidybee: they took blood today so I'll find out tomorrow if I get to stop the injections. I doubt it though. When do you go to the MFM doctor?

@Tidybee: I'm sorry that there wasn't a more positive outcome, or more answers for you. I hope you can get your appointment to check things out with an ultrasound ASAP. Blubber as much as you want...we're all here for you.
I've been spotting all day. I know it can be normal, but my mind automaticall goes to the worst. I went to my Dr. this AM because she wanted to give me a rhogam shot just in case, because I'm A-. She drew blood too to see if there's been any issue with my blood type. Other than that I just have to wait. I wish I could think positively.

@MrsB2012: @kbee: thanks for the kind words!! I ended up not calling the OB since nothing happened after Saturday. I'll mention it at my first appt tomorrow but hopefully it was just a little blip
@HeartAbandoned: So happy you had a great appt! And telling your family sounded amazing.
@Tidybee: Sorry you didn't get more answers. Hope you find being on the boards helpful and supportive as you figure this out

@Swordfish: just brown. Dr Google has not been my friend today haha!
GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts
@Keppa: just press "reply" in the top right of a bee's last comment to automatically reply to that bee. I'm Swedishfish, not swordfish. Brown spotting is most likely ok. It's old blood. I had pink that turned to red spotting with my miscarriage.

@Keppa: My husband threatens to take the internet away from me when I go down the Dr Google rabbit hole Brown seems like best case scenario for spotting… try not to worry! (I'm trying to convince myself to do that too!)

@Tidybee: I'm sorry you're experiencing so much uncertainty. I understand how you feel to some extent. Being in limbo is somehow harder than actually knowing I think.
AFM: I'm only back to say that I've officially miscarried. This weekend was one of the hardest times emotionally for me and I am so sad, but have a sense of relief to finally know what is going on in there. My HCG on Thursday (after an ultrasound where the tech saw nothing, no sac, no baby) was 811 and today, four days later, it was a whopping 81. And I've been spotting all weekend. So this is my good bye to the group and all my well wishes for you mamas and your healthy progressing little ones. I know I'm young and have time to try again, and I now know I have the ability to get pregnant, the challenge next time, God willing, will be keeping it. H&H 9 months everyone!!! I'll miss you all.
